Always about 10 cents less than the Shell just down the street.

Tank Displays Unreadable; Receipts don't print as they are supposed to. Clerks at the counter are indifferent at best, usually rude.

BUYERS BEWARE: The…read moreauto mechanic here is a scam artist. BUYERS BEWARE Shell Gas Station, 920 Richmond Ave., Houston, TX 77006 On March 23, 2023, I brought my F-150 in because it had a water leak; this Shell Station auto mechanic told me the AC UNIT was leaking. This gas station auto mechanic said we could fix this the right way for $2,200 or the cheap route for $400.00. He stated the correct way to fix it was to remove the dashboard steering wheel, cut some wires to access the leaking AC unit lower valve, and replace the gasket. Then this auto mechanic stated that the cheap fix would be putting silicone around the lower AC UNIT valve for $400. This conversation occurred next door (900 Richmond AVE) at 3:35 PM when I initially dropped off my F-150 that morning. BUYERS BEWARE Today, March 28, 2023, I took my F-150 to my local auto mechanic shop (Crossview Dr, Houston, TX), and they said they had never heard of removing the entire dashboard to replace a leaking AC unit gasket with confused looks on their faces. They ran the AC unit diagnostics, checked for leaks, inspected the vehicle, and determined the windshield was leaking. I'm glad I DID NOT pay this lying auto mechanic $2,200.00. BUYERS BEWARE. Sincerely, Howard Venuto Retired Firefighter FYI: This is being reported to the Attorney General's Office, KPRC 2 NEWS, BBB "Better Business Bureau," and Harris County DA fraud department. Some of this was captured on my F-150 Dash cameras (For legal purposes), because people lie and video cameras don't. BUYERS BEWARE

This Shell station is located at the intersection of Richmond Ave. & Montrose Blvd. It's generally…read moreclean & the pumps work just fine. But be aware that gas in Montrose costs considerably more than that in Midtown & Museum Park. Gas at this station regularly costs 20-40 cents more than that at the Gulf (formerly a Texaco) just on the other side of Rt. 527, 0.4 miles down the road. The Gulf station even offers a discount of 10 cents per gallon, for customers who pay in cash. This station does not. Today, the cost of unleaded regular at the nearby Gulf station (at 411 Richmond Ave.) is only $2.159 ($2.059 for those paying in cash). The cost of regular at this Shell station is $2.699, a whopping 64 cents more per gallon, for those paying in cash (see my pic). And the Gulf station is more convenient for those getting on 59 South, or exiting 59 North. So get out of your comfort zone, and take your business just up the road. It pays to discover.

I don't typically take the time to write reviews, but after my visit to this 7-Eleven location, I…read morefelt genuinely compelled to make sure these two employees get the recognition they fully deserve. From the moment I walked through the door, Marquisia and Jasmine set the tone for what great customer service actually looks like. The store was immaculate -- spotless shelves, clean floors, everything organized and well-stocked. It's clear these ladies take real pride in their workspace, and that kind of attention to detail doesn't go unnoticed. What truly stood out, though, was their energy. Both Marquisia and Jasmine radiated a warmth and positivity that made the entire visit feel genuinely welcoming. They were upbeat, engaged, and attentive -- not just going through the motions, but actually making customers feel seen and valued. In an industry where that level of care is rare, it was refreshing and impressive. Their customer service was nothing short of spectacular. Every interaction felt effortless and sincere. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and kind -- the kind of employees who make you want to come back not just for the convenience, but because of the experience they create. Marquisia and Jasmine are exactly what every retail location strives for and so rarely achieves. They are a true asset to this store, to their team, and to the 7-Eleven brand as a whole. If leadership is reading this -- these two deserve to be recognized, rewarded, and celebrated. They are raising the bar every single convenience store out there.. 10 out of 10. I'll absolutely be back.

I live at one of the high rises right next to this gas station. The employees are some of the…read morerudest people I've encountered working in a business setting. Victoria in particular has uttered several extremely offensive remarks towards me for absolutely no reason upon checking out or leaving the store. I assumed the first time she was just having a bad day. Turns out the owners for both gas stations at the end of the street are the same, and Victoria works at both locations, the Shell and Chevron. After around the fourth time, growing angry I threatening to complain on her, and now I've intentionally gone out of my way to avoid the location and warn all my friends from attending such a horrible business. This is ridiculous and truly sad because the convenient distant alone could have held me as a loyal customer. Fear of verbal abuse for frequenting your local gas station should never have been an issue. The first mutters were just catty, bizarre things, but by the last time I went it was just inexcusably offensive. I will not repeat the slur she spat at me due to my prominence in the yelping community and the desire to remain unaffiliated with the offensive slur. Victoria needs to be let go because the baselessness of attacking me certainly infers I'm not the only one suffering this abuse. It's obvious after witnessing Victoria's physique that she not only lacks respect for customers, but also herself. Chevron you better learn to treat your customers with respect and decency otherwise offended customers such as myself are surely not returning!!

You'll be looking at paying $2.09 for a gallon of gas, but I cannot complain too much since its good quality and not watered down like at Shell. However, this facility only has one unisex restroom and boy does it smell awfully bad like urine. Also, there's urine all over the floor and usually the seat stays up for the men who uses this restroom here. There's absolutely no seatcovers for the toilet seat, so you would have to squat, but please watch out for the urine on the floor, you don't wanna have to step in that. The guy in front was OK, he showed no emotion and didn't talk much. He wasn't your average friendly neighborhood cashier of what I'm used to, but he was pleasant enough for me to purchase gas. At the pumps, there's plastic gloves and even a mini TV, to keep you occupied while you are feeding your car his/her "nutrients"in order to run. The gloves are for those germaphobic individuals who rather not touch on the pumps. Great location, but with a few pumps it can get crowded very easily.
