There was no toilet paper, and the trash can was totally overflowing and needed to be emptied. There was a true bright spot though. The guy that took my order was very personable and answered my questions about beignets. The guy in the PJ's shirt was who I informed about the restroom issues.

The staff was very patient with me since it was my first time and didn't know what the desserts taste like. I got the lavender matcha half sweet and the honeycomb cheese bread. Maybe because I ordered less sweet so I don't taste the lavender at all, but my matcha did have a slightly strong fragrant smell in the beginning. But overall the drink got more bland as the ice melted. The bread was good though, they give honey on the side so you can adjust the sweetness yourself. The bread is pillowy and easily pulled apart, a good balanced sweet savory pastry because the cheese is light and not overpowering. I would love to come back again next time to try the other popular desserts and their coffees.

It was nicely balanced all the way through--not one of those drinks where you get to the bottom for all the pistachio. The spinach roll had a lot of spices, including a bit of a kick. The people behind the counter were friendly and kind--I would go back for sure.
