I don't know anyone who loves being sick, in fact I hate it and sometimes am not in the best of moods when under the weather because there are a ton of other things I could be doing with my time (than being sick)...Sheeesh! However, when I walk into the HEB Pharmacy at Telfair, I know that everything will be alright!!! Dr. Bhatt and his team never ceases to amaze me. They go above and beyond and always have a positive and friendly attitude. His team members are sharp and I see them as the human PDRs... They are knowledgeable about the drugs and never hesitates to look up information, even on their busy days. They make you feel like the only patient, even though you know that you are not! I can recall more than once my patient portion(cost) of my prescription was way higher than anticipated, the staff recommended I look up coupons and baaaaaam, I was able to sign up with the drug company and utilize my coupon. This shows the passion the Pharmacy Team has. They dont only care about filling scripts and getting folks in and out like they are a number, they actually care about their patients and it's that care that keeps me coming back. This is for the female working at the pharmacy on Sunday August 11, 2024 at abut 10:15 am. I went to pick up a prescription and she said there was nothing filled, then told me what was transferred was cancelled. I spoke to her about the prescription, issues I've had in the past, etc.; i.e., just trying to understand what were my options. It was maybe a 3 minute conversation, and there were ZERO other people waiting. I wasn't rude, mean, or pushy. She tells me, "as you can see, the pharmacist stepped out, so you can come back in a few minutes to talk to them." I responded with, "I don't know who is the pharmacist, so no I didn't see them step out and I do not know why your comment was necessary." I then told her I no longer want to continue here and will get my prescription elsewhere. Leave your attitude at home or don't work in a customer-facing setting. read more

I was very displeased with their poor level of customer service and lack of willingness to help correct errors. They filled half of a prescription for me because they did not have enough for the full amount. Later, when I went back I was told I would have to wait an extra 4 days for the rest, due to insurance processing reasons. read more

I have never had a bad experience here, I am convinced that they are committed to do everything in their power to take care of me and my family. Mr. Ike is the best Pharmacist I have ever encountered with, he is very special and also amazing !!! on multiple occasions this amazing pharmacist has help me to get hefty discount on some medications that my insurance did not cover. I really wish I could give zero stars. The customer service at this location is beyond sub par and HEB should be ashamed of how their pharmacy treats patients. Not only does the pharmacy tech hang up on you, they are not willing to help you in trying to resolve an issue that could have been handled civilly. They didn't explain to me why I can no longer have my controlled substances be filled there, and refused to help me transfer them to a pharmacy who could have filled them. With having multiple diagnosis, now I have to wait for medications that are to be taken every day. No accountability, professionalism, patient advocacy was upheld here and I am never going to be a paying customer and patient with this pharmacy again. They made me feel like I was trying to abuse the system and that should never be tolerated within HEB customer/ patient pharmacy relations. read more

My husband and I are so disappointed by the service we got from Dipak Bhatt, the Pharmacy Manager at the HEB Sugarland location. We went there because I talked to him on the phone this morning he said to come by and see him today between 4-6pm regarding COVID vaccine. He was rude on the phone and interrupted me when I was explaining my question and just goes "So, what's your question!?", which took my by surprise; but I thought I'd let that go maybe he was busy. Well, once we got there a pharmacist got Mr. Bhatt and told him why we were there to see him. He then instantly says "No, I didn't talk with anyone this morning, I said come by tomorrow, not today". If he didn't talk to anyone this morning then why did he say "I said come by tomorrow not today."? He barely even acknowledges that my husband and I are standing there, and was so dismissive; but kept insisting that he did not talk to anyone this morning and that he "didn't give any wrong information to anyone". So basically calling us liars right in front of his co-workers. Then he suggested we just come back and still is very vague and short with us about the time and date on when we should come back. The pharmacist standing was the one who clarified the times and information. We are new to the area so I would not of just shown up at a pharmacy and lie to get something. It was so disappointing. I understand that these days everyone is stressed out more than normal, but that's no excuse for treating people the way we were treated by Mr. Bhatt. There was absolutely no form of customer service given to us. We will not be going back to this pharmacy for any of our needs. The only saving grace is that when we spoke to the store manager, he was very friendly and understanding and agreed that Mr. Bhatt's behavior was completely unacceptable. read more
