Showed up for an appointment that I had at 12:20. I arrived by 12p to self check-in and scanned the QR code to do the checklist. A nurse called me in to begin triage. I asked her if I still need to do the checklist. She said she got me and obtained all my information. Told me I was next up and the doctor would be right with me. Waited at this point past my appointment time as a doctor was wrapping up with a patient, then went to several offices to talk to other clinicians. I'm the only one in the waiting area. Another person comes and gets triaged ..she is told that they'll fit her in between patients...lol I'm the only person there waiting. 12:35 rolls around no one has come out get me. A little bit before 12:40 someone grabs the other patient that came after me and said they'll be right with me after her "it'll be quick".... Finally about 10-12 min later I leave because my appointment was at 12:20, I arrived earlier than the 10 min requested, no one is really there and now it's approaching 1 o'clock... if I wanted to wait 40 minutes past my appt time to be seen I would go to my regular doctor not a MinuteClinic. They don't realize I've left and called me until 12:56 asking where am I? I explained I had an appointment at 12:20. I came abundantly early. I shouldn't have been waiting that long especially if a patient comes after me, and I was the only one waiting....they tried to tell me that patient had a 12:10 appt but that patient showed up over 20 minutes late if that's the case. I would know because I was waiting in the room to be called by the doctor and it was already like 12:35. I shouldn't have to wait for someone who was late. And rather than apologize, the physician said well we've already seen you..implying I'll be billed basically and asking when am I coming back. Another manager called to say they'll same thing, that I misunderstood. If it is in your practice to triage patients so that you can delay timing for them to be seen and lock them into paying you should be reported or this clinic at least should be reported. Trying to explain to me as a patient that I'm wrong for not wanting to wait almost an hour to be seen in an empty clinic because of their poor time management is a failure on their part and I will never participate in another minute clinic again read more

The pharmacy closes for lunch in the middle of the day. I wasted my lunch hour going there only to leave unfulfilled.

Had to visit the mini clinic. Was super blown away how easy the visit was. Also the pace of service and how friendly the staff was. Gotta love far easy service. Even the pharmacy staff was very friendly and helped find any possible discount for my prescription. read more

I waited over 2 hours at the minute clinic when I had an appointment scheduled. They told me the visit was free and then they charged me 103.00 auto debited out of my account 3 weeks later. Tried to call the store, then the 1800 but got the run around. One of the ladies who works there was very rude to a customer and openly complained about that customer in front of other customers to one of her co-workers. I thought it was very unprofessional when there was a line of patients waiting to be seen. read more

Is there a point to making an appointment when the clinic is running well over an hour behind schedule?

I went to CVS to get my passport taken, the staff was so kind and helpful. When it came time to print my picture their printer wasn't working. Both of them were incredibly helpful and apologetic and helped me on my way. I provided 2 stars because I called the day before to double check that the printer was working. This is the 3rd time I've tried to use them for something picture related and they have had printing issues. I would definitely recommend to print somewhere else but come here for all your other shopping needs! read more

From shopping to food, you would think most mega malls like the nearby First Colony Mall would have everything. But no, toiletries and convenience store stuff is always relegated to the outside. I suppose that's where this CVS comes in handy. In normal CVS fashion, this place is stocked full of the random necessities of life. My group needed everything from gum to band aids to gum. All of which we couldn't find at the mall, which is pathetic. The CVS folks here are nice and the parking is spacious. The store is laid out in a way where most everything is easy to find without requiring much assistance. Now if they could only just merge this place with the mall ... it'd be a win for both sides. read more

This is a review of the medical clinic only, not the store. I was overdue for Shingrix (Shingle) vaccine that my PCP had recommended. The vaccine was on back order, but a sign outside the store indicated this clinic had some in stock. I did a walk in and waited about 40 minutes for my turn. The NP was very friendly, funny, and informative. The paperwork took longer than the actual shot. Best of all, CVS was on my insurance preference list so it paid for everything. My left arm was sore as hell, but my wallet was feeling good. I will return in 3 months to get the last shot of a two shots protocol. I hope I get the same NP again. read more

Don't go to the minute clinic. Yesterday took my wife who is severely disabled for a UTI. Got a prescription for antibiotics. She had a reaction to the antibiotics prescribed. Trying all morning to get the prescription changed to another antibiotic. Can't get ahold of anyone in the local store. Just a call center where they tell me someone will contact within 24 hours. My wife has an active infection I need another antibiotic now. Just called the pharmacy they tell me they will contact the nurse. Star rating could improve read more

If it were possible to give this location zero stars, zero stars it would be. This review is regarding the drive through pharmacy, I've came here on multiple occasions to drop my medication off at 8am since it's right next to my place of employment, we'll the forking pharmacy is never opened at 8am! Usually I'm quite understanding on running late especially since I work for a surgeon however when it happens all the time and I need to make it to work on time & that's the reason I come to you guys at 8am & You can't just open at the time you're supposed to open, what kind of Buisness is this!! Just such a inconvenience in so many ways! Continued to come to the following location because it's so close to work, the pharmacy staff has gotten so much better. My medication has actually been prepared on time and I haven't had any problems in the past three months! Needless to say, I'm a lot happier than three months ago! read more

My daughter was complaining that her ear hurt, called her pediatrician to get her in for a visit but TCP did not have apts until the following day at 7pm! I decided to call other locations to see who was willing to squeeze us in. I was not successful and it was getting late. I researched walk ins and my initial search didn't pull up a minute clinic. My second search did. I went to the website and was assigned an apt at 5:03, I scheduled it at 4pm. That gave me enough time to pick my daughter up and take her there. We arrived at 4:55. I checked in the kiosk and waited less than 5 minutes. No one was in the wait area. The nurse practitioner Ugochukwu was friendly and listened to my concerns, by 5:09 (I texted my husband at that time) we had a diagnosis--ear infection. She spent some time inputting in her comments, asked if we had gotten flu shots. She administered both my daughter and I shots, sent the prescription and took payment for the services. I was blown away by how quick this was. She also took my daughter's temperature, weight and ensured she was ok. I will be returning here again given the ease and quick diagnosis. I went to the pharmacy after the appointment and the medicine was ready for pick up by the time the appointment was over. Will recommend to people. read more

Always nice to have a CVS near the area where you can just go in and shop. The place is clean and the parking plentiful. This location is just across from the mall and situated very close to my home. The prices are a bit more expensive for most items but the convenience is worth it to me. All the employees here are very welcoming and always say hello when you come in. The pharmacy here is very quick and the employees knowledgeable. I take all my prescription here and I have never had a problem. One of the pharmacist just so happen to be a High School buddy and she does a great job. My only gripe is that the lines sometimes do go rather slowly but no need to be too nit picky in things. Unless of course you are in a rush I guess. All in all there are certain things on sale that you can get here cheaper than other places. Love the location. Oh yea its not 24 hours anymore so I guess that sucks and it opens at 8am. read more

This is a review of the Minute Clinic. The Advanced practice registered nurses (APRN), Tiffany and Leah, were wonderful. They were professional and went through the PPD testing process in an orderly manner. They are definitely overworked in the afternoon/evening time zone because it's one patient after another. However, their waiting system is HORRIBLE. The kiosk they have does not let you cancel sign up. When I showed up on Friday and tried to sign in, it wouldn't let me because there were 10 appointments in front of me. However, after speaking to other people waiting, they mentioned that most of the people on the list gave up and left. Therefore, I had to wait until the nurse came out and told her that I would like to be put on the list. In addition, the timing for waiting is way off. This is out of nurses' control, but giving everyone a standard 20 minute appointment is not the ideal wait time. They texting system that is linked to the kiosk is also off. Once, I received a text as soon as I signed in. I still waited an additional 40 minutes before it was my time. In the end, they get kudos for being convenient and open until 7:30PM on weekdays. However, avoid FRIDAYs and stick to Monday-Thursday appointments if you really need a visit. read more

I ordered a prescription refill for my daughter through CVS app and I received an email on Saturday stating my prescription is ready. When my daughter when to pick it up she was told that it won't be ready till Monday. I called Monday to check if it was ready and I was told that it's in back order and won't be available for days. This will be my last time ordering prescription from cVS. I transferred my prescription to Walgreens. read more

AWFUL Minuteclinic experience here. I've used plenty of Minuteclinics over the years and have always had decent experiences and appreciated being able to pop in for a quick, cheap appointment when I knew the problem was something simple. I have never, ever had as bad an experience at any of them as I did here. I checked the website first to see if I could make an appointment (which is what I usually do). Nope. 'Wait time' was unavailable, and so was 'Hold my place in line' - with a little note saying you could only walk in. No problem - we did that. I got there to see quite a line, and everyone in line said the computer where you sign in was down, so there was a sign-in on a clipboard. Signed in, there were only 3 people ahead of me - not bad. Well, almost two hours later, only one of the people ahead of me had been seen (another walked off in a huff - and no, I have no idea why each visit took so incredibly long. I have never had a visit take as long as each one of these took, including once when me and my two children ALL had strep and all had to be seen, AND they did the strep lab test there while we waited in the room before we left) and the PA came out to announce that after the only person left ahead of me in line, she was taking appointments (and skipping over me). I was pretty upset - if ANY indication had been given when I arrived that it was not actually 'walk in only' and I might get bumped for people who had appointments (when I had wanted to make an appointment and had not been given the option) I would never have sat there for TWO HOURS waiting. I spoke up to say I had been there for hours and had not been allowed to make an appointment and got a lecture about how people with appointments had actually been waiting longer than I had because they had an appointment. At that point I walked out. The best/worst part - while we were all sitting there waiting, store employees came back to snipe because people's kids were playing. The waiting area for the Minuteclinic is literally 3-4 chairs IN THE TOY AISLE. I cannot imagine what they were thinking with that. The service I recently received at this minute clinic was absolutely UNACCEPTABLE! I am completed disgusted with what happened!! First of all, I had to wait over an hour to be seen. There was only one couple in front of me that went in (from the time they went in until the nurse practitioner came to get me) was 1 hr. and 15 mins!! When I signed into the Kiosk,it gave me a wait time of 20 mins! This is a minute clinic!! The NP didn't even have the courtesy to come and let me know that it would take much longer than expected!! Had I known that, I would have come back later or gone to another location!! 3 people behind me complained to the pharmacist along with me on the wait time. The Pharmacy said there was nothing they could do since it is separate from them!! Those 3 people ended of leaving due to the long wait!! To make matters worse the NP was very inconsiderate, rude/disrespectful,unprofessional, and unsympathetic!! Her phone went off during my visit. She said "I'm sorry I have kids and I'm call!! Also, I was charged another $28 to have my TB skin test read!! They failed to tell me I would be charged double fee!! so all in all, I paid $56 for horrible service!! How deceitful! I would never ever return to this clinic!! I'm still in shock that this happened at a clinic. I mean nurse Practitioners are held at high expectations and Ms. Turner didn't meet a single expectation!!! Patients deserve better!! This is so unfair and should NOT have happened!!!! I took my daughter to the clinic to get a flu test before a big play at her school as a precaution to make sure she was negative. The Nurse practitioner asked I wanted to also get an exam for her and give her a flu vaccine as well. She said it would be $10 and everything else was covered by insurance. She asked if I needed one as well saying again it was covered by our Blue Cross Blue shield insurance. I received a $106.00 bill 2 weeks later from Minute Clinic. I called Minute Clinic's customer service and they said that it was not their responsibility. This is classic bait and switch. I will report them to Attorney General and my insurance company for fraud. Obviously it is a small amount, but after seeing all the complaints for Minute Clinic at CVS, I want as many people to know before using either of these businesses. I know I will be a Walgreen's customer now and will never use Minute Clinic again. read more

My wife signed in at the Minute Clinic in person last night. It said there was a 103 minute wait, so she went to the mall until she received a text saying she would be seen in 15 minutes. When she sat down, the kiosk said she had 8 minutes left to be seen. The person before her soon left and the display showed her name, next to it, it said "Present" and the time went to 0 minutes. 15 minutes later the Doctor or PA came out and went to the restroom and then returned to the examination room. 15 minutes after she returned, she peeked out and said she would be right with my wife and the other people waiting. 15 minutes after this she came out and called the family that had checked in online and was listed after my wife on the kiosk display. My wife informed her that she was ahead of them and had been waiting for 45 minutes now. The Dr or PA said there must be something wrong with the computer and took my wife in. My wife was there for a Wellness Exam, required annually to receive a discount on our insurance premium. Last year at this same location with the same Dr or PA, we both had Comprehensive Health Screenings and the Dr or PA signed the form and we were good to go. There was a coworker behind us who did the same. This year the Dr or PA had another lady with her and the two of them took exception to signing this form saying that we got checked because along with health screening, it also says annual exam and annual check-up. The results aren't shared with the insurance, the point is that we get checked out every year. While I disagree with their decision not to sign the form after a Comprehensive Health Screening, that is within their right. What I do take offense to is that they text my wife saying she would be helped in 15 minutes, then made her wait 45 minutes with our 3 young children only to not provide the same service they did the previous year. Assuming the computer was not working correctly, would it not be common sense to visually check the waiting area after a patient leaves? Assuming that common courtesy was not observed, then at the very least when the Dr or PA went to the restroom and saw my wife waiting there, would she not ask if she was waiting and if she had checked it or looked at the kiosk showing her as checked in? If the Dr or PA needed to twiddle her thumbs for 45 minutes, then don't text the patient to show up and wait. Has anyone received a Wellness exam for a discounted premium from this CVS before? If they signed other peoples forms, then maybe they were just making excuses to not examine my wife, who was understandably upset after having to wait 45 minutes with our small children after being summoned by text. read more

The managing pharmacist is difficult to deal with. She does not give you all the information you need. I.E. How long it will take a prescription to come in or when it will be available. She is rude and not forthcoming. They don't have time to listen. I miss the smaller, more personable, pharmacies. read more

I arrived at 8:40 to get a prescription refill. I waited in the drive thru line for about 5 minutes and had to honk to get their attention inside the pharmacy. The attendant told me the sensor was broken, but there was no indication of that on the window. I tried to get my prescription refilled before closing because my son needed it in the morning, and they would not fill the prescription because the pharmacist was doing her closing routine but they don't close until 9pm? They told me I couldn't pick it up until 9am even though they open at 8am. I took the prescription to HEB, arrived at 9pm when they close and they filled the prescription for me right away, that night! CVS just lost my business! HEB saved the evening!!! read more
