Not to be confused with Whale-greens. Which is for very large fish. And yet is still overpriced. And this one is far from our favorite Walgreens. Located on Grand Parkway by the highway in Sugarland, we try to avoid this one due to the long lines and questionable service on both occasions we came here. read more

Walgreens - The walls aren't even green - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Sugar Land, Texas

The WORST pharmacy ever. NEVER can get anyone to pick up the phone. When they do they don't even speak they just put you right back on hold. Take forever to get medication filled. As a health care worker I truly feel sorry for patients who need medication right away or depend on this pharmacy. No one ever takes responsibility and the people who answer are always rude. Such a shame. Do better pharmacy!! read more

Walgreens - No one should be on hold this long to get answers about their medication. - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Sugar Land, Texas

I'm not sure what is wrong with this Walgreens. Part of me thinks it is Walgreens in general since we had the same issues with one in Missouri City. Unfortunately, our insurance doesn't take CVS, so we are stuck with Walgreens. I could be the only one in the drive thru to get my prescription, the prescription will be ready, and it can still take them 15-20 minutes to bring it to you. They get your name and DOB and then disappear. What could possibly take them so long when I have one prescription I pick up each month that they say is ready when I arrive? Are they severely understaffed? Is the management so poor that they don't care about the customers? I need to find a different Walgreens... read more

Hey Walgreens , I trusted you on a delivery and your store "shift lead" acted like he had no idea what I was talking about when they (I believe forgot) to deliver. I called your customer service line, HE found it and cancelled. But your store here lost you a customer. Can't trust you.. STAY AWAY! read more

Does Walgreens ever have a script ready? Nope. Never. This has to be one of the worst pharmacies and yet we are all forced to come back over and over again. Would recommend going to H-E-B instead. Good luck getting that script though. read more

1. Hold time on the phone is never less than 15 minutes. Once you get through you can count on another long hold time. Often someone else then answers and you have to start over. 2. Even though I refill the same Rx every month, they are frequently out of stock and I run out of meds. 3. On three occasions they insisted that they hadn't received the prescription and my doctor swore he had sent it in the same day I called. Each time it turned out that Walgreens had it but just filed it away and taken no action. I have been fed up with them for some time, but I just found out about a highly praised private pharmacy that is closer to me, so I am gone. read more

Picking up prescriptions at this location is like going through Dante's nine circles of hell. 1. In four months, I have NEVER NOT had an issue with prescription refills at this location. 2. You give your name and birthdate, but the rocket scientists at this location still don't know what all your prescriptions are. 3. The last straw was today. I made a refill request for six medications precisely a week ago, and not a single one was ready for pickup today. I am hoping that it is just this location that is staffed by mentally impaired individuals, will transfer to the Rosenberg Walgreens. Hopefully it's not a Walgreens issue, just a location issue. I would not recommend this location to my worst enemy. Do yourself and your sanity a favor and do not fill your prescriptions here. read more

The pharmacy here is the worst! They are always short staffed and the wait time is never less than 30 minutes!! If they weren't across from my job I would never come here. read more

If I could give 0 stars, I would! This is a TERRIBLE Walgreens. One of the WORST customer service pharmacies I've ever dealt with. I was on the phone with them to ask about a prescription. I called at 1pm. Once they answered I was talking to one of the employees and suddenly the call was ended. I'm not saying they hung up, there is no way of knowing that. After the call ended I called again. It was 1:04 when I called next. I was never able to get in touch with them directly, they kept picking up the phone and putting me on hold again. This happened MULTIPLE times! I waited on the phone for 13 min. So I called the store instead of the pharmacy and I talked to the manager, who wrote down my number and eventually they ended up calling me back. If your insurance covers CVS, then go there you're better off. read more

I would rate a zero if I could. I had surgery time for pain meds refill when counted pills I was 5 short. The manager had the nerve to ask me do I leave pills where someone can access them. I asked if she had cameras she refused to check camera stated the pills were counted twice. I will xfer my prescription and report them due to this manager was full of shit and by the way she reacted I feel she took them for herself. read more

WOW!!!! That's all I have to say with customer service. I mean absolutely no customer service and do not place anything online for store pickup because it will never be ready or have the product. read more

The pharmacy is TERRIBLE!! If you call they will pick up the phone and before you have a chance to say anything they click you and put you on hole. ( very frustrating) They are very unprofessional. Customer service is not a priority!! If you must deal with a Walgreens do not go to this one!! For me this leaves a bad taste in my mouth with the whole franchise. I looked through the reviews and not one positive remark which tells me that management doesn't care enough about customers to see what everyone is saying in order to rectify any bad experiences so that the same occurrences won't happen again. read more

Very frustrating waiting for a flu shot when I had a appointment and others went ahead of me

It takes FOREVER to pick up prescriptions! This has nothing to do with Covid. It has always been the case. My family comes here because they're open 24/7, (which is awesome), but the wait....! (Crazy!) We're talking about moving our prescriptions to CVS for this reason. read more

I was in line to refill a prescription for the first time at this location and it was super fast and they were knowledgeable and nice.

I've actually never had a problem with anyone at the pharmacy. They always answer my questions, and their automated phone system doesn't actually make me upset like some other companies. Is actually decent to use. read more

Ok so the wait time at this Walgreens is just horrendous. I figured I would learn my lesson the first time because it was more convenient. I guess I didn't! read more

Hate coming here to pick up Rx. It always a 30 min stand in-line. Why are they so slow??? Can't they put more ppl at the pharmacy counter???

One of the SLOWEST pharmacies I've ever used. The only reason I come here is because it is the closest 24hr pharmacy to home. I wait for at least 20 minutes here eaceven when there is only one person in front of me. They need to hire more staff. They're a pharmacy they make plenty of money to. The staff is always disorganized. They need to learn better customer service. If there is a problem with one customer hand them off to management or a tech, the cashier should keep the line moving not spend half an hour on one person. *UPDATED* I would rate ZERO stars if I could. I'm switching companies all together because I am so frustrated with Walgreens. I call the pharmacy to have them re-fill my new prescription because it got unfilled, I didn't come pick it up in the company's time frame, at 11am. The guy tells me they will have it ready in an hour. I come in at 1:30pm to pick up the script and of course NOT READY. I give them my coupon card & I'm told to wait a few minutes. Thirty minutes later, still not ready. An HOUR & 10 minutes later it's ready but I'm told that the script is $50 and not $20. The worst part is that I had to waste my time at this pharmacy for over an hour. I have worked in a pharmacy. When we would know a customer is waiting, the pharmacist would personally take care of the waiting patients so they would not have to wait more than 15 minutes. Why in the hell was I there for over an hour Walgreens?! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. read more

To place a review on the site you have to give something at least one star. This location rates one and a half stars, which means it only rates 1/2 star above the minimum. That should tell you something. People typically write something because the service was either better than expected or significantly less than we expected. This location is no exception. My previous insurance use to use CVS which was also 24 hours and only a few blocks from this location. They were always helpful, always courteous, and always prompt and quick. After being with CVS only a few blocks away for many years, I was reluctant to switch with my insurance switched. However, I didn't think they'd be much of a difference. I was very wrong. Despite the same number of employees behind the desk even at late hours compared to CVS, the service is always less than satisfactory. Today I was the only person in the store picking up a prescription that was ready. I had to wait nearly 40 minutes without my presence even being acknowledged by the pharmacist behind the counter. When the tech tried to get the pharmacist to scan her badge so that I could leave it took her 10 minutes to respond to him. It felt like service in a communist country where time/other peoples time is not important. In addition, on at least three occasions, they have gotten insurance information incorrect even though it hasn't changed. This finally seems to have been settled and they are now actually performing the right tasks. But it took several arguments with them before they would verify things and find out that I was correct. The drive-through is atrocious. Waits are exceedingly long even when you're the only one in line. The automatic refills for Walgreens/this location do not work like they're supposed to. In five years at CVS I never had an issue. It seems like three times a year I have issues with Walgreens/this location. Based on my experience of a pharmacy that's also 24 hours only four blocks away, I cannot recommend this Walgreens for anybody Except those who have to get their medication that night. Expect to wait though. I am looking to switch to another Walgreens even if it's less convenient. If they're all this way I may just have to go back to CVS which will cost me more but will be worth it in the long run. read more

Worst experience ever. Waited in line for 30 minutes to drop off prescription. Was told to come back at 6. Come back at 8 after waiting in line another 30 minutes to be told wait another hour. Are you serious? Shrugged shoulders and has no reply. Try to call for a manager and just hung up because no one will answer. Horrible. read more

Walgreens - a phone screen with a call on it - Cosmetics & Beauty Supply Near Me - Sugar Land, Texas

Pharmacy is so busy and wait time to pick or drop medicine is so long. I would recommend people to go to CVS further down on Crab River

This is THE WORST pharmacy with the worst service you could possibly imagine. A brief example of my family's last (and I do mean LAST) two experiences here: Incident 1 - 104.5° fever from strep throat, I confirmed prescription was sent in early afternoon. 6+ hours later, prescription (for 20 antibiotics pills) still not ready. Called Walgreens multiple times, hung up on twice, but received no answers after more than an hour of waiting on the phone. I arrive in person at Walgreens asking for the much needed antibiotic, they ask in a rude way for me to move to the back of the line because they still don't have my 20 pills ready. I'm just about done at this point. Final straw, Incident 2 - prescription sent in, received notice that this Walgreens location is out of the medicine so it won't be ready today. Needed medicine urgently so called another pharmacy, verified they have the medicine in stock. But then a Walgreens rep refuses to provide the prescription to the other pharmacy on our request, claims we must ask the other pharmacy to request it. We inform the other pharmacy of this. Other pharmacy reaches out to us a few hours later after being on hold for two hours and hung up on more than twice. Very similar to my experience on the phone with Walgreens but I shouldn't have been surprised by how unprofessional and uncaring Walgreens seems. Good luck ever resolving anything with these people. Put simply, these folks REALLY don't seem to think much of their customers. read more

Pain killer after surgery for my son. I went to pick it up over 7 hours (7:30 pm) after it was called in around noon (I verified with Dr). It wasn't ready. No one was in line and they didn't look busy. After complaining they said to come back in 30 minutes. When I called to see if it was ready I was "disconnected" twice. I had to call because the Rx would not show in my Walgreens app and there was no notification so I didn't know when to get it. it was finally filled (more than 30 minutes later). I have been sitting in line here for over 30 minutes waiting at the store to pick it up. In the meantime my son is crying because the pain is so bad. This location used to be fine but the last few months it has been ridiculous. And it has nothing to do with COVID! read more

This is advertised as being a 24 hr pharmacy. They should put on their website and advertisement that there are limitations to this- ie they don't do certain vaccines past a certain time. Furthermore, there seems to be a lack of communication between the various branches of Walgreens. I went to a Walgreens that closes at 11pm- I was there 16 min prior to closing but there was a line. So I wasn't too upset when the pharmacist expressed that they have the necessary vaccine that I needed but they only have 2 minutes till closing and won't be able to do it (mind you this tetanus booster needs to be given within 24-48 hrs). The pharmacist did redirect me to another Walgreens (this 24 hr one). However they failed to communicate to me that this Walgreens that is ~20-30 min drive away does not give out any vaccines past a certain time (which is 10pm). So needless to say it was a waste of my time AND to top it all off, the pharmacist in the 24hr Walgreens did a poor job at explaining to the customer a clear answer to questions. They started listing what the vaccine consists of in the medical language- this may be familiar to the trained pharmacists- however that vocabulary was not of my knowledge. I ended up googling it and I realized the lady was talking about 3 different medicines that are included in the vaccine itself. I don't know how it would go if it were an older individual who was not quick with the electronics. Now, I know pharmacists may be busy. But I do know customers, clients, and patients need to be educated in order to make an informed decision. read more

As a healthcare worker I understand things get busy. But TWICE at this location I have dropped off prescriptions before 9 AM, been told they will be ready by lunch, only to show up at 4 PM and find they haven't been touched and now I get to wait 30 minutes in the lobby. Final straw was waiting 30 minutes and then realizing they only filled three of the four prescriptions. CLOWN SHOES! read more

Worst pharmacy ever. The slowest service I've ever experienced. I had a prescription that they were not able to fill for a week. Every person just kept telling me it would be ready the next day. I finally had someone tell me the pharmacist needed was on vacation. I transferred it to H-E-B next door and it was filled in less than 24 hours. For the few prescriptions they did fill for me, I waited no less than 20 minutes in line, inside and drive through. I saw 2 customers wait over 30 minutes to get a consultation from the pharmacist. Lastly, I picked up a small grocery item, only to find it expired when I got home. I will be transferring all prescriptions to H-E-B and never coming to this Walgreens again. read more

I went to Walgreens to get a booster COVID vaccine and a flue shot. The women at the counter had no idea what to do. I left. Went to Walgreens in Rosenberg, and all I got was attitude from the clerk and a lecture about making appointments on line. I left . Went to Walmart in Rosenberg, got both shots in just a few minutes. Apparently every Walgreens store has their own rules. They really need to train their counter clerks how to treat customers read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever dealt with and sadly I doubt anything will be done to change. You would think that in this day and age Walgreens as a company would look at these reviews and put some corrective action in place after years of receiving mostly 1 star reviews on here. That being said, I'm currently on hold (as usual for over 30 minutes now) so I have time to kill. I've taken the same medication for almost 7 years and my insurance no longer allows us to go to CVS so I've had to deal with this poorly run pharmacy. I use a manufacturer's coupon that significantly lowers my copay. CVS was given that coupon once and then saved to my profile and applied every month. Walgreens can't figure out how to apply the coupon half the time. If I didn't have to pack up my toddler I would just drive to the pharmacy if I had a question bc calling ensures a 30-60 minute wait. Ridiculously aggravating that the service has been terrible for so many years and yet nothing has been done. read more

Re photo dept. - Terrible Have used Walgreens for decades to have my photos processed. Always liked prices & quality. Until recently, they changed the printers & paper & the results are not good. The paper is really thin & flimsy. The color is terrible. Photos have unnatural colors. Last year I returned a batch of 150 photos because they had an unnatural neon-ish tint. Recently, I tried again w an order of 2 8x10s of my daughter. One photo had her skin tone so red she looked badly sunburned & in the other, she actually looked green. ??? I had both photos developed online using mpix & they arrived looking amazing! Sadly, I will have to pay more for my photos but at least the quality is fantastic.
