Every time I come here there are 6+ people waiting in line or in the drive thru and 1-2 pharmacists working. They are always kind and I've never had an issue with any medication, but it takes 20-30 minutes on average to pick up a simple prescription. The pharmacy needs in increase in staffing. This Walgreens is the WORST Walgreens pharmacy ever. The customer service is absolutely horrible. I have a prescription that says to dispense 30 tabs. They keep giving me 20. When I go up there I have been advised to return 2 days later to get the remaining tabs and when I call to make sure the medication is available, the pharmacist tells me she sees that they only gave me 20, and doesn't know why and she can't help me. She was VERY rude. After explaining everything to her she just wouldn't say anything. I had to ask her if she was even listening and she says yes but she couldn't help me. She was acting as if she couldn't care less about their mistake and she wouldn't do anything to rectify the situation. Despite me telling her I was going to be out of town she would not release the medication that they owed me. How is this appropriate? You give 20 tabs when it says 30, but won't release the remaining. I have had to make so many complaints about this one pharmacy. They have officially lost a customer due to this Walgreens and that pharmacist!!! read more

This pharmacy made an error in my daughter's prescription. The order was for liquid antibiotics twice a day for 10 days. The bottles were clearly filled incorrectly since the dosage amount was followed, 2x a day and we ran out in 5 days. The bottles were only filled wit half the liquid required. When I went in to report the error you the senior pharmacist, no admission of error or apology. He said he filled a report but would not let me read it. I am reporting this to the state regulatory body next. read more

Pharmacy drive thru is terribly slow. People should either be dropping off or picking up. Period. No insurance issues should be discussed when there are lines of people waiting. What happened to the days of telling a customer they need to come inside? Or circle around. Others should not have to wait 15-20 minutes to pick up a prescription. Convenient 24 hour access to chocolate, gift & greeting cards...what's not to like? This store seems a bigger layout and a wider selection but smaller amount of notions displayed. Cashier Trenell is cool, calm & collected. The giddy mature woman in front of me bought ALL of the Halloween Russell Stover individual candies. She had a mini mountain of candy amassed on the counter. And she even requested the cardboard display box. Did I mention she ran back in line for Sprite. It took a good while to ring up all of those bits and bops. Oh that sugar! Well, good for her and well wishes with those treats. Calling Walgreens pharm (6120 hwy 6) reg is 38 minutes on hold, initially only 3 people in front of me. 38 minutes on hold to be hung up on without a return call. Yesterday was 28 minutes, 3 people in front of me...same outcome...hung up on and no return call. For me it's the disregard for anybody's time, for their employers confidence and dependence on them to keep their business thriving. This is the WORST pharmacy I have ever been to in my entire life..I hate I could even give them a one star. They will call me and tell me my medication is ready for pick up. I go to wait in life for 30 mins to get to the window to hear it is NOT ready. I have not done a review because sometimes things happen.... but this is EVERYTIME.... they have not had my medication ready for a WHOLE month now. Meanwhile they still call and text everyday to say it's ready... I have asked to speak to a manager. And still don't get any much change... I did at least get them to clean the window and pick up the trash in the drive-threw. That window was so dirty you could even see them!!! Smh. I WILL be changing pharmacies after today. I have seen customers throwing a fit in front of everyone and still the staff has a calm voice and offer realistic advice in how to help. I have been coming here for 3 years and this has the most impressive customer service I have seen compared to all other Walgreens. Very frustrating! My doctor sent the medication to the wrong Walgreens as I've had issues with this one last year. I decided to give it another try. While picking up my prescription, I asked the young man if I could buy a mask. I told him I just found out that my husband and I both have Covid and needed a mask to pick up my child. He told me they didn't have a single mask and he looked as if I spoke another language or something. I had to go into the store without and buy a mask. If I were able to give them negative stars, I would. If you want to experience unprofessionalism, disrespect, rudeness, lies, and worst of all discrimination. If you're darker than the usual pink shade that shops here, you get horrible service. My usual Walgreens close to my house usually has my medicine, but they were out and I couldn't wait for a shipment, because I was completely out. So I went to this location, because I've been to it a few times and they always have my medicine. Before I left, I called them. I repeatedly asked for the pharmacist, he was "busy" I should have known that was a red flag, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. I told them my situation, and the tech told me that my medicine was in stock. I drove to my pharmacy, asked for my prescription back, and drove to this location, driving in a hurry. To my surprise, they actually did not have my medicine. I waited for 20 minutes waiting for the pharmacist, who of course was nowhere to be found. I told them that someone told me that they had it, but he "looked" and couldn't find it and even asked the pharmacist who said that they were out. I called today again, and someone else told me that they have the meds in stock. I waited on hold for 40 minutes. I called another department asking for the pharmacist, they relayed me to her. Surprise, surprise, they have it. Don't shop here if you're black, Mexican, or any other kind of minority. EDIT I am contacting the board for race and disability discrimination. read more

I don't normally leave reviews. This pharmacy is HORRIFIC. You can't get anyone to answer the phone unless you wait an extended amount of time holding (greater than 10min), I hung up after 20min. They don't keep medication stocked, have to order EVERYTHING every time! As a patient I cannot access my medication timely, and they lack communication with patients regarding the orders they have placed to get medication AND they close for lunch! Who closes for lunch??? I have never experienced such terrible management, inefficiency, and lack of customer service anywhere. Worst pharmacy on the planet. Going elsewhere, and hopefully some listens and fixes this disaster! read more

DO NOT fill your prescription here. I waited in the drive thru line for twenty minutes for two people in front of me. When I finally got up to the speaker I did not even get so much as a "hello" to acknowledge that I was there. It did not even look like the lady was helping the other girl in the other drive thru line. So I parked my car and came all the way inside to a HUGE long line of people waiting for their medicine. Please do yourself a favor and go to another pharmacy. Went here to pick up a prescription to be told that they put it back! Why was it put back when my doctors office called to have it filled less than 9 hours ago.?! They proceed to tell me that my insurance card is not sufficient and that I need a prescription card? Umm.. I've never used or needed a prescription card before, in fact I've never owned one. Went right over to my favorite CVS and they verified that my insurance information was already in their system. A 24 hour pharmacy is so necessary in our neighborhood... However customer service here is terrible! I have never gone in without having to wait in lines longer than any other store where I shop. And the indifference shown to the customers puzzles me. It's like they don't even care... That includes many of the employees and the managers... They also have some pricing policies that give me pause... I had selected an item that displayed 18.99 as the price... but once to the register I discovered that without the Walgreen's card the item was actually 31.99! Don't get me wrong, I understand customer loyalty discounting as much as anyone... But I went across the street to Walmart and bought the same item for an everyday price of 17.99... If you're looking to fill your prescriptions here I would advise you to go elsewhere. The first time I had one filled I figured it was just a communication issue. They called and told me meds were ready and once I got here they did not have meds in stock. Today I got a call meds were ready at 5:34pm got here at 5:47pm and it is now 6:53pm I'm still in line at the window and told again, my meds were not ready and needed to circle around the building and get in line AGAIN. I let the lady know that I've been sitting in line for an hour and was not about to make the line again for another hour. Don't waste your time. Find somewhere else to fill your proscription. She immediately sent my debit card, I'd, coupons back and said I need to come into the store because she has a line( of cars). I was very offended and reminded her I know there's a line because I said in it for 45 minutes to almost an hour. Then she pretended as if she could not use my insurance discount card which I use every single month along with my coupon. This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I have been there on three different occasions and they have messed up my prescriptions each and every time. On my last visit I needed 4 prescriptions for my daughter who had the flu. The first time I went through the drive thru they told me they had a problem and had faxed the doctors office. I called the doctor and they said they had not received a fax, so they called Walgreens for me to straighten it out. I then got back in line to be told that my 3 prescriptions were ready. When I told them there were 4, they told me that they only had 3.then I showed them the paper copy of the prescription and they said "Oh, yes I see 4 in here. The 4th one will be ready in half an hour." So I left and came back an hour later. Then she asked for my insurance card. I told her it was tricare and we don't have I'd cards, they just use the military ID and social security number. She told me to my face that I had to have an insurance card or she couldn't give it to me. After arguing with her for a bit, I left the drive thru and came inside. The gentleman inside found my insurance information immediately. When I got home, I opened to bag to find that they only gave me 2 of my 4 prescriptions. I called them and they said they weren't sure why I didn't get them, but they were there and I could come back. I wasn't able to come back until the next day. It took me 5 hours to get my prescriptions filled and I still ended up with half of what I needed. Today I am trying to fill prescriptions for my other daughter. I thought since we sorted out the insurance stuff last time, I should be good now. Apparently there is some problem with my insurance again and they're trying to figure it out. I've never had this much trouble anywhere else. I would not recommend this location to anyone. The people I spoke to were rude and unhelpful in addition to incompetent. They're unorganized to the point that I have to wait for every prescription that gets filled here. Yes, even those that were supposed to be ready three days ago, by their automated phone calls and text messages. Yes, those that I confirm have left the Urgent Care 6 hours prior. And yes, after waiting 40 minutes for one car in front of me and one car on the other spot at the drive through window. The last straw. I've already moved my scripts to the CVS on LJ Pkwy and University out of protest, and since this pharmacy is no longer 24-hours, my wife's will move too. There is literally no reason to EVER go back to this location. I suggest you get your script filled anywhere else, and then go on living your life. read more
