The staff at Walgreens was super kind to me today. I had a photo of my Mom printed for the 3rd time because of several mishaps having nothing to do with them but with Staples and UPS. This time, the picture Walgreens printed was in landscape format rather than portrait and, as such, would not work in my frame. The cashier recognized that I was beyond frazzled and ready to just call it a day and leave, but she insisted on calling the assistant manager, Tim, and he offered to try it again. Went to pick up medicine for my dog who had a seizure 4 months ago. For the last 4 months I would go and pick up my prescription and it was $34 and change. I went to pick it up this past Tuesday 10/28 and I was told the cost of the same meds I've been getting for the last 4 months was now $94. I was told to go google it for cheaper elsewhere. I had the vet call it into CVS down the street it cost me $19.08 at CVS. Never go here. Same yourself time and money go to CVS In Ramsey instead. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. The customer service at this pharmacy is absolutely terrible. I've tried calling multiple times just to check on a prescription,especially since I drive a long distance after work, but no one ever picks up. And on the rare occasion they do, I'm immediately put on hold and left there... forever. I've waited on hold for nearly an hour before finally giving up. When I go in person, it's not even that busy. The phones are constantly ringing and being ignored. I understand they're filling prescriptions, but basic phone etiquette and common courtesy should still be part of the job. There's no sense of urgency, no professionalism, and absolutely no customer service. Every interaction is a headache. I'm seriously considering transferring all my prescriptions elsewhere. NO ONE ever answers the phone, especially if you call the pharmacy!! I have been trying to fix a problem with my Walgreens app going on 6 months now, the store tells me it's not the store's problem, I have to get in touch with the corporate office. Convenient location by to Starbucks if you are in Mahwah/Ramsey and want to grab a coffee and pick up some meds. Pharmacy hours are good during the weekdays but unfortunately close earlier on weekends. read more

This Walgreens is close to me and tends to be my go to for both pharmacy and last minute cards. Upon picking up a script today at the pharmacy I noted they had started administering Covid vaccines at this location. Lines are typically reasonable and the store is generally clean. Today the pharmacy line was a bit on the longer side but again they're now filling scripts as well as giving shots so expect to spend an extra few minutes in line. read more

Walgreens get your act together. You can't have people make appointments for vaccines then make them wait an hour or two. This place is terribly managed and needs some organization. Not sure if it's the people or the scheduling system giving them an unreasonable amount of people. Either way it's a waste of time and money to have this place exist in this shape. read more

I had to move to Walgreens from CVS because of my health insurance. Everything at CVS was automatic but not at Walgreens. The doctor I was seeing moved out of state, so I continued with the new doctor who took over her patients. When I realized I ran out of blood pressure meds, I stopped at Walgreens and they told me they closed out the doctor's file, so this meant I had no blood pressure meds for several days until I could get the new doctor to approve them. It was busy so I didn't create a stink, but my husband told them to give me a few pills until Monday. Sadly they don't realize the importance of medications. read more

Horrible pharmacy. As others have stated, they don't have enough staff working in the pharmacy and some of the staff aren't trained well or up to speed on how to handle much. Also cost for a out of pocket script was way overpriced. They wanted 230.00 for 90 day supply that millers pharmacy filled for 42.00!!! Also had to return a script and they said only the manager can do returns and the manager isn't always there. So they actually want me to come back in two days!! Will never go back here!! Attention Walgreens Mgmt and regional office. Fix your pharmacy. read more

I have had a medication ordered for my dog for some time because it isn't carried by Walgreens and the vet wanted her to take the same manufacturer at all times because it is for behavior issues and it was important not to change manufacturers. This week the pharmacist said it couldn't be ordered from that manufacturer. I called two other Walgreens nearby and both said they could order it and one did and I've picked it up already. I've switched my pharmacy business to that store also and won't be using this store again. Apparently they didn't want to order it -- it was not because it couldn't. read more

Poor customer service, bad pharmacy, understaffed, and impatient with customers. Don't think employees are trained well.

I have been coming here since I moved to Mahwah ten years ago. The customer service gets progressively worse as the years go by. The customer service is horrendous, the store is mostly understaffed, and the staff that is there working, is rude, and very unhelpful. I have used their photo department out of convenience (location), and on multiple occasions, including tonight, I was let down. I placed my "same day" order, in order to pick something up that I needed to ship tomorrow morning. Not the first time. When I did not hear from anyone, hours later, I called the store, was put on hold for 3 minutes, and then told that my order would not be ready "because the printer jammed". This was the third delay due to a printer issue that I have had at this particular location - I think it must be in the handbook on how to lie to customers. Then I was told that there were only two working in the store, and that they were too busy to complete my order (WHICH WOULD HAVE TAKEN 10 MINUTES!). What were they doing? Cleaning up and counting the registers. This is why Amazon wins. Customer service is everything. I am pulling everything I do from Walgreens and taking it to CVS. Good luck surviving the 2020's with this shoddy customer service. read more

I used to go to a very closely located competing pharmacy that always had a huge line, took forever, and had employees with really miserable attitudes. Fantastic Pharmacy! Clean...well stocked, courteous staff and last but definitely not least a wonderful pharmacy. You can count on accurate and expert advice. I am on the auto refill program with a family that has at least 20 prescriptions per month and they are on time and reliable. The head pharmacist Marina, could not be more helpful and is extremely knowledgeable. I also see how she manages her staff and I definitely would not go anywhere else. The store is great but the pharmacy is a hot mess. There isn't ever enough staff and there is a line of at least 3 people and I've seen it as long as 8. They need to get more technicians to fill prescriptions and help customers. The whole ordeal is further slowed by the interruption of the drive through customers. The staff is running back and forth between the drive through window, the phone, to lines of customers. Please do something about this!!! read more

I have been going to this pharmacy for years. They are unfailingly helpful, especially Marina.

Avoid this pharmacy. Very bad experience. Never go there. Filled a prescription on Tuesday and they told me that it would be ready by Friday after 10 AM. Went to pick up on Saturday and not ready. The pharmacist was on the cell and seemed never cared. Just wanted to check when they called my doctor to get the refill and she said Saturday. My doctor does not work on weekend. Called on Thursday the week following, not ready. Reason: how you order? by phone or by computer, IP does not work. All kinds of reasons. I will be dead if this medicine is critical. I already felt damaged because they could not fill the prescription on time. I promise I never go there. read more

I go here only because it's close but omg it's horrible. The pharmacist always had an attitude. They have questioned me on a refill. I do the call in thing i either get a text saying it's ready when it's not or no text at all when it is ready. The refill they question me on is for my dog. I was actually asked" why are you giving a narcotic to a 5 year old". I ( as politely as I could) told her that she needs to look at the prescribing Dr (DVM not MD) and when she did not get it I told her flat out. It's an anti seizure med for my dog, and if she feels the need to announce the fact that she loudly accused me of drugging a child she needs to take a step back and get out of her line of work. I had people staring at me as if I was some kind of molester or something. When i announced just as loudly it was for a dog the crowd of people behind me were laughing at her. Then she decided to give me a hard time filling the script because she was embarrassed and made me wait an few days. I called corporate and amazingly the meds were in. read more

When you're lucky enough to have more then one pharmacist on duty the staff here is incompetent to say the least. They're unfriendly and seem annoyed by customers waiting for their prescriptions. read more
