went in to the Waldwick Walgreens last week to get a new type blood pressure machine (wrist cuff type) was feeling very dizzy and would like to thank the manager for helping me ! It' is always extremely crowded to get a prescription (drive through is faster) and don't even try calling the pharmacy you'll be on hold for a good 20-30 min. read more

Really bad customer service in the pharmacy and extremely slow, even in the drive through. Called to see if a prescription was ready for my child and was told it would be ready at 12. Went at 12:20, waited in the drive through for over ten minutes behind someone, and when I got up to the drive through I sat there for ten minutes going back and forth with staff about how it wasn't ready, and would need at least 15 more minutes. When I reminded them about how I had already called ahead of time and was told it would be ready, the staff member told attempted to guilt me by saying she was now having to cancel other people's prescriptions in order to rush mine, and that I wasn't allowed to wait in her drive through for it (although the person in front of me was there for 10+ minutes). I asked how long it would be, she said give her 5 minutes. So I drove to the back of the line, and was in line for another 10 minutes before I had to leave and will have to go back and make an additional trip later. Will not be using this pharmacy again. read more

Only use this pharmacy as a last resort. You call and they say your prescription is ready and when you go there it's not. And they are incredibly slow. read more

I got a passport photo taken and needed a digital copy. I was told I would receive it within a few days. Eight days later I called because I still hadn't received it, and was told the records are kept for only 72 hours and I had no choice but to come back and have it taken again. No accountability. Additionally, they seem to have only one employee outside of the pharmacy who does anything--she has to wait on all the customers, oversee the photo section, etc. Kudos for her, and thumbs down on the management. read more

This is our neighborhood Walgreens and is a reliable quick place to get things from in a bind when you don't want to go far. Staff is competent and fast. We are able to drop off fedex packages here for pickup. They also have many Grocery items and get photos printed. They also have many holiday and seasonal decor options as well. read more

My wife called to see if her 2 prescriptions were ready and was told by the automated system that both were ready for pickup. I drive to pharmacy and was told that they don't find any prescriptions for my wife. I go back home and call the automated system and recorded the conversation that again said 2 prescriptions were ready. I drive back to pharmacy and play the recording for the pharmacy clerk. Again she says that they don't show any prescriptions being ready. At that point I had enough and said in a loud voice "who stole the prescriptions". Left again without anything. Will be moving all of our prescriptions to CVS. read more

I have been a happy customer of Walgreens for years until this store. The pharmacy staff as well as store management Do Not Know how to handle customer complaints and will only give you the run around. The pharmacy staff is inept and can't manage simple prescription distribution without confusion and blaming the insurance company or doctors office for lateness. I put up with it for months and every time I came back it was the same issue. Management can't even resolve this, nor did they even try. However I will mention also that the cashiers in the front have always been pleasant and helpful. Extremely slow pharmacy and completely unsatisfactory customer service. read more

I'm not sure how this pharmacy is even running. Besides the employees working slower the a slug, I was in complete shock at the obvious acknowledge the phoneS, yes plural, and never picked up one and said, "can you please hold". you have 1 person working the drive through and in-store register. it is a disaster there and there weekend check list is far was having tasks completed especially the one that says "answer phone by 3rd ring" it's pathetic. My daughter waited on the drive through line for 40 minutes for her covid test even though she had an appointment. She was promised the results after 2 hours and she is still waiting 5 hours later. Great place if you have a large number of hours to kill. read more

Pharmacy is a VERY busy spot and this location more than most - despite the impatient customers who MUST all be closet pharmacists, since they are heavy braggers that they have to wait even 10 seconds they could do it SO much faster and better. Pharmacy Dept. has become so rude. I tried to renew a prescription and they told me over and over again my insurance isn't valid.. when I was there 2 days before with the same insurance. Turns out, after I spent an hour with my insurance trying to figure out why Walgreens is saying I'm not covered, they entered me with the wrong sex...no apology no nothing from Walgreens! Then I try renew a prescription for my husband. I was told the doctor closed the prescription. When I asked for clarification since the box said I had one more renewal her reply was..."weren't you listening to me?" then proceeded to talk over me when I was trying to explain what the box said. I couldn't be this dysfunctional if I had a year to practice. I'm very upset that Walgreens has become an absolute joke of a pharmacy. I was a loyal customer and filled my family's prescriptions here for years, however I have had so many problems with the company recently I have sought out a different pharmacy. An example of this was that the pharmacy incorrectly filled one of my family members prescriptions, which he took for a month. When this problem was discovered and raised, the company did not apologize or try to amend the issue. Thankfully, it did not result in any serious medical implication, although neither we, nor the pharmacist, know which medication he had taken daily during that month. This place has turned into a comedy of errors, and I am very disappointed their incompetence has forced me to shop elsewhere. read more

This is the only 24 hour Walgreens around where I live which is great if you have a major problem on your hands. It's a Walgreens so not much to detail to get into if you ask me. I will say that the Pharmacy is very friendly and helpful, but the front end people are in a world of their own. Sometimes they know what's going on, sometimes they don't. There are two stores I dread/hate going to in this world- Walgreens and CVS. Today it was Walgreens. The front end of the store- cashiers/floor staff are not helpful, no people skills, and appear to be lost. The tall, goofy looking guy working June 3, tried to be a little condescending, and he definitely wasn't being helpful. During these unfortunate times, he should be grateful to still have his job, and not be negative toward customers. It's not just the Waldwick location, but all locations. read more

Worst pharmacy. The only reason I decided to use them as my pharmacy was because I have small children and the drive thru would be convenient. Well I couldn't have been more wrong. Literally every time I go I end up sitting at the window for no less than 15 mins because they don't have me on file, they don't have insurance info on file, they cant find my prescription that was called in a day before. Their window is dirty and outdated and all but one time I had to yell through the opening where they put the prescription because the speaker is broken. Just all in all way more of a headache than just taking my kids out of the car and going into CVS... which is where I will be going from now on. read more

I have been going to this walgreens for years. After I moved 45 min away I even kept going to it because they were quick, friendly and respectful. I've been incredibly disappointed with the pharmacy the past few months. Though there are still a few solid staff members, most of them are unorganized, slow and unprofessional. I handed in the wrong prescription for the date and wasn't informed until after 1 hr of waiting when I approached the desk. They tell you 20 minutes and you have to wait 45-1hr now. They need to replace a few staff members and maybe hire a few more because I can tell when I am waiting I'm not the only one who gets perturbed. read more

Horrible experience! Very racist staff! This pharmacist, Kerolous Sharkaur, asked me to show ID to have my Father's prescription filled, called me a drug addict, and threatened to call the District Attorney on me. He yelled at me in front of other customer's and announced on the store's PA system that he needed help ejecting me from the store. Finally his supervisor came and called the doctor that had just issued the prescription to my Father and verified that it was legitimate. No apology for the racist treatment or slanderous words, but I was given the excuse that he previously worked in black neighborhoods where he was constantly dealing with drug addicts. Her comment only added insult to injury, and I observed that no other customer, they happened to be all white, were asked to show ID to fill their narcotic prescriptions. They even made a copy of my ID. There was no posted policy of this so called requirement because its only required of black people. This is one of many racist incidents the Walgreens chain has had to answer to, (Judge OKs Walgreen's $24M Settlement Of Bias Case, Dickerson v. Walgreen Co, and the list goes on). They spend a lot of money protecting their employees racist actions. My complaint to their corporate offices went unanswered, demonstrating that they only care about the money that they make off of their customers and do not care about the way their customers of color are treated. I was visibly shaken and humiliated by the experience. I will never step foot in another Walgreens again. Shame on them! read more

When my mom was in the end stages of cancer and Valley hospital was discharging her even though it was obvious she was having some kind of allergic reaction to something, it was Walgreens that figured out it was the pain medication the hospital was giving her. This was information that was available to the hospital in her medical records, but it was the pharmacist at Walgreens that let us know she was allergic to it. They are always helpful with answering any questions I may have about my own medications. The line can be long at times. I just wish the pharmacy was still 24 hours. read more

Eric the pharmacist is the best! I have had nothing but great service and they are respectful and polite. Best pharmacy in the area for rapid respectful service and friendly young staff. Filling an RX takes time because it has to be done to specifications. People don't understand that! Ask for Eric and you will feel like you are a small local pharmacy, and that he really cares. read more

Absolute worst Pharmacy ever. I was called from the waiting area, to which the staff member didn't wait for me to approach the counter to embarrass me in front of another customer and the pharmacy staff for "not" having insurance while she smirked as if I was trying to get over on her. Which is completely false by the way since I've had the same health insurance for 26 years. She then scolded me for having an old card when I just recieved this one in the mail 2 weeks ago. Incredibly rude, and disrespectful. I had to call my insurance company so they can call the pharmacy and give them all the "codes" after they supposedly called, all because I do in fact have insurance. ...I work with the public daily as my profession. I'd give a 0 if I could. The manager Asma Ali of the Pharmacy wouldn't give me Visine thru the drive thru, wouldn't get me the store manager and gave me no options. Called the CEO's office and they said she should have offered a clerk to bring it out to your car. She gave me 0 customer service with lots of attitude and rudeness.
