Cashier refused to serve me and said my ID was fake when I'm 22. Cashier was so disrespectful to me and told me to get out.

Took it home and cork disintegrated. Either corked or stored incorrectly or maybe froze in delivery. Not the end of the world, it happens. When my friend took bottle back for exchange or something comparable, was told no. Offered a twist off at a fraction of cost. This was a 40$ bottle of wine, that probably cost the owner 24$. (If that). The person working in the store did not do the right thing at all. Won't go back and would encourage other wine patrons to seek an alternative. Do better Beekman.

The man said he wasn't sure but would ask the other worker out back. The other worker came storming in through the back door so aggressively screaming at me "NO! NO! NO! OUT!" Before even looking at their selection I asked for a spare mask. All i needed was a yes or no, and I would have respectfully left! This man continued to yell at me in a condescending tone on my way out.. "it's been a fuckin year ma'am" he said. Yes, it's been a year & I know I'm not the only one that has forgotten a mask within that year. I will absolutely never come back here again & have told friends and family to stay away. Being nice goes a long way. Especially in this new world we are all trying to navigate. Sending prayers to the man that screamed and yelled at a young woman. GOD BLESS HIM, really.

I live very nearby to Greenway market and enjoy coming here for their liquor selection as well as…read moretheir more artisanal offerings that Stop & Shop doesn't have. The prices are high, but about fit for the area. I tend to shop here only for specific items or to patronize their wine selection or liquor selection. The cashiers are generally on top of things and the store is very clean and organized. However, last night, I felt that the welcoming atmosphere was not there. My partner and I walked in at about 8:50 (being very aware of their closing time of 9 pm), and came to get one item quickly as they were the only store that carries it nearby. Almost immediately after walking in, a larger man in grey sweatpants walked over to the liquor counter and goes on the intercom, saying something to the effect of "the store is closing, get your stuff and go to the register because we want to go home". I can understand this feeling as I've worked customer service and retail and always disliked when people came in near closing. However, we were right behind the man using the intercom and were out the door in less than 2 minutes. I would have appreciated him coming to us and greeting us with the store closing information, rather than a gruff intercom grumble. We understood the need to move quickly without this. Maybe you need someone else to take the closing shift? Regardless, we were aware that we were there close to the wire, and we got our stuff and got out after a stare from the grumpy old man.

My careful purchases with the other coupons came up to $19.38. Oh dear. Never good at math! I contemplated buying something but there is no longer any chance of buying something for $1 and I was going to have to spend $3 to save two. Even with my bad math skills I knew that was crazy! The manager Randy saved the day. He asked what my problem was and I told him. He said let me buy a coffee to bring it up to $20. How nice is that?
