Horrible service they always say they are open on DoorDash and Uber eats and decline orders. If you are closed state that.

The workers talk about their customers to other customers. If you have the time take the drive to the waldwick one.

I had high expectations for Catalano Coffee Company given their impressive variety of coffee…read moreroasts, but the experience was inconsistent. The cold brew is stand-out, uniquely smooth with a natural hint of sweetness. However, the hot latte was a major letdown, the milk was scalded to the point of burning my tongue, which completely masked the quality of the espresso.

I had some serious crackhead energy after this drink LOL. I was ready to run for president, start a YouTube channel, and take over the world!!! All jokes aside, you gotta love coffee that is not only tasty, but STRONG. Catalano Coffee is a small business that does it right. The owner is super passionate and knowledgeable about the industry. They serve locally roasted organic coffee from around the world. This is the place to experiment with different roasts and origins to find the pour of your dreams. Pricing is a bit higher than other cafes, but I'm willing to pay more for high quality beans. I've tried a couple of different drinks and my favorites are the specialty lattes. I recommend the maple and mocha lattes if you want something that is on the sweeter (but not sickeningly sweet) side. The baristas know how to create the right balance of steamed milk and espresso. The espresso is deep and rich. The additional flavors are not overpowering and add the right amount of natural sweetness to the bitter notes. This is a quiet and cozy spot to sip on a drink while getting work done. There's comfortable furniture, free wifi, and outlets. Very simple decor with a bright, welcoming atmosphere. It's easy to miss because it's located in a small plaza, but don't hesitate to try their coffee if you're around the area!

They offered two little slips to each customer - one for a savory crepe and one for a sweet and you can build you own. Great concept but it would be beneficial if the server confirmed the order because we asked for nutella, banana, strawberry, and ice cream and got 2/4. We were in a rush to leave so forgot to check the receipt to see if we were charged for the others; however it was $48 (w/o tip) for 1 panini, 1 crepe and 1 latte so a bit overpriced for the quality of food, in my opinion. The sandwich and crepe were both just okay, nothing to rave about. The drink was aesthetically pleasing with the iced Bear and tasted great. We asked for whipped cream on the latte but our server forgot that too. She also forgot to provide us water until we asked and it came at the end of the meal.  Outside dining was not optimal as it's right next to the railroad tracks and quite loud. There is a kids play area which I thought was a nice addition to the space, but I do wish it was gated off for the younger kids as it's so close to the road! Overall, I found that it was a bit overrated and underwhelming... there are so many restaurants to choose from in the area that I wouldn't opt to come back here.

There are SO many different drinks to choose from that sometimes it takes a little extra time to figure out what you want. The inside of the cafe is SO cute and seriously, cozy. There is a back section of tables, and a few tables and comfy chairs in the front when you first walk in. I have been here a couple of times now, but wish I could visit more often. They do coffee flights and that is why they get 5 stars. I wish more coffee places would do flights. It's such a fun experience and it's so awesome to be able to try more than one coffee. I like to try all their fun and festive drinks. From girl scout cookie flavors to candy bars, to just a delicious Pistachio Latte. If I'm hungry I will also purchase the everything croissant with chive cream cheese. It is the *chefs kiss*. My daughter also loves the bakery items here. She will usually grab the chocolate croissant (warmed up of course). I also bought my son a cake pop last time, which he devoured. You really can't go wrong when you swing by CoZie Cafe. There's space to wait for your order too- so if it's cold or raining, there's room for you. They're open 7a-7p which is great. It was busy when I ran in today around 12:45p on a Sunday and that's always a good sign. It looks clean and the drinks I saw looked appetizing. The food menu sounds fantastic. The guy who helped me with my order was super nice. But I actually went in there on the hunt for something specific. It's the 2nd time I went in since they moved to the space across the street from where they were. The first time I stopped in quickly and saw they had what I was looking for but very few so I didn't buy anything. l had done a very difficult and time intensive Google search for Macaron Cafe macarons. They wholesale out of NYC and they're the best macarons ever. There are probably 6-7 places in Ridgewood that sell macarons, some that make them fresh baked. And none are as good as the ones from Macaron Cafe. Pre-covid I could find them locally pretty easily. But now, it's really hard. Most of the places that sell them put up a menu of the flavors that's very easily identifiable, and they carry the full line. By googling a photo of the menu I was able to find them in Fort Lee and American Dream and those are both too far. I'd gone into every single place that sells macarons in downtown Ridgewood except RCC and none of them have them. I finally made it into Ridgewood when RCC is open (we usually end up in Ridgewood after dinner and they're closed) and imagine my joy in seeing the macarons there. I can tell it's them instantly. Except - they only have like eight of the flavors! They don't advertise them. They don't have the menu up either, so they only way I could tell there might be a chance of them being there was an old photo of their counter from Yelp or Google. So, I didn't have any drinks or food. I just bought some macarons. And I would've bought more except that they didn't really have the flavors I wanted. There are generally around 28-32 flavors and they change/add/take away every few months/holidays, etc. My knocking a star is ONLY for the lack of flavors of these amazing macarons and only having a tease amount of flavors of them. And they should advertise their baked goods/desserts better, like in photos on instagram. They don't post enough of all their food. I had to just take a chance and come in from an old photo. I know I don't want to have to drive to American Dream mall for these macarons. And I know the girls behind me in line today were talking about how they came in for tiramisu.

From the moment I walked in, the atmosphere felt warm and inviting. Even though the space is small, it's thoughtfully designed and very comfortable, making it the perfect place to slow down for a bit. I ended up staying for quite a while drawing and reading because it felt so relaxing and peaceful. I ordered the ham and queso croissant, and it was incredible. The croissant itself was perfectly flaky and buttery with a savory richness that made every bite satisfying. The pesto paired with it beautifully and added even more flavor without overpowering it. Everything tasted fresh and carefully made. I also got the s'mores coffee, which was just as impressive as the food. It was delicious, smooth, and balanced with the perfect amount of sweetness. Presentation-wise, it was honestly stunning -- so pretty that I almost didn't want to drink it. One of the best parts of the experience was the staff. The women working there were so kind, attentive, and welcoming. They were quick and efficient while still taking the time to talk with customers and create a friendly environment. I never felt rushed while ordering or sitting there, which made the experience even better. It's rare to find a café that combines great food, beautiful drinks, and such thoughtful customer service so effortlessly. I'll definitely be coming back and recommending Rey Sol to friends.
