There's only one register open at all times so sometimes a line goes all the way to the back of the store for checkout. There's a total of 3 workers there. One stocks shelves, one on the register and what looks like a manager who walks around the store thinking it looks good. There's freezers and fridges leaking water into the aisles. The only good thing I saw was that they had a wet floor sign up. I can't speak on the meat section because I wouldn't even think to buy meats from here. There's piles of dirt and garbage with brooms blocking some aisles. Overall I'm not sure how the health dept hasn't seen any red flags out of this place. I happened to be in the upper Bergen County area & had some time to kill. The set back here that was quite surprising was the employees were super rude. I can't say I've ever had this experience in the Trader Joe's in Wayne or Clifton. I can't say it will stop me from visiting again,, however I won't be asking anyone for help. They should not be treating customers this way. I encountered two employees who had no etiquette.

And I had to text my friend to see what colors she wanted, but was not able to reach her on time. So I continued to shop and when she finally replied, I went back to the desk and I said one of each color, the gentleman gave me a nasty look with mean voice saying didn't you already come? Limit is 4 so you can't get them. Oh my, chill out man. I explained the whole situation and he reluctantly gave them to me but the voice and look of this man left me a scar that's going to remain and be remembered every time I come to this branch to shop. Why are they so mean and sensitive. I don't care how important it is to give the customer the bags with the limit 4, still customers have to be treated with respect. Other trader joe's branches staffs are so nice even allowing dogs. This isn't the first time I felt unpleasant. There was few ladies by the plant section who are very unpleasant. Last time I brought my hypoallergenic dog to the store to buy milk (bc i cant leave my dog in the car by herself) and the lady came and said to me I must leave .. having the dog in the cart is so unsanitary!!!!! {hello lady, who calls my pet dirty,,, it wasn't like I left my 10 lb dog on the cart, I left dog in her own car seat and left the car seat in the cart. } Anyway, westwood need to improve and be nicer to people ( I do feel like it may be racial discrimination which is against the law in this day and age.)

They all concurred that it would be in the front hall, on your way out. I checked that location and only saw firewood. Guess they might not know the difference. Then I went to customer service to ask them. The guy working there asked me to hold on, said he'd be right back, then must have disappeared to go watch a movie or something. He, not anyone else, ever returned to assist me. I returned everything I had in my cart and left the store, annoyed, then went to my usual ShopRite. They also have wonderful prepared salads as well as roasted chickens, sandwiches, pizza, and sushi made the day of. The main reason I come here is for their meat. They have incredible sales, so I'm often in here on Tuesdays for their ground chuck and chicken special. The chicken is always super tender, and I've never found woody breast. Their sausages made on premise are also fantastic. When we are feeling like grilling, this is where I pick up my steak. And in case you have a sweet tooth, their bakery is also A+ .

However, I need to plan to use up at least 10 minutes figuring out the layout of this store. It's quite hard to explain because when you walk in, you don't think anything of it. Then you turn a corner and go "oh nuts". If you go in, you'll understand. Other than that, it was renovated a few years back and looks bright and clean. I don't have a problem with their selection, and they even have a lot of good things that are ready to eat.
