I ordered two burritos de asada con todo and two carne asada tacos. To muy disappointment, I saw the guy preparing my food sneeze into his appron, he didn't wash his hands. He was cleaning surfaces with a rag then proceeded to continue to prepare the food without changing his gloves. That right there made me feel grossed out. I didn't say anything and still decided to give the food a try. It was not good. We had to throw away more than half our burritos. Cleanliness is important when food handling for me. I don't think I'll return.

With me in Phoenix for a day and the rising temperatures, I had to get some cool drinks from a local store. I was only familiar with 7-Elevens, but I wanted to try out Circle K. There was a Circle K near the Super 8 Motel. I got thirsty after my day around Phoenix going from one bar, headed back to my room, and need something to sober up. The store is just like a 7-Eleven. The store sells propane and they have a Blockbuster Kiosk which seems to be popular when I drove up. In fact, I didn't see to many Blockbuster Video stores or any kind of video stores. I walked in and it had a typical setup of the soda fountain machines and cold storage areas. I got two 1 liter Arrowhead ($1.69). If you get two, its 2 for $2. Also, I got two Powerade drinks ($1.89). If you get two, its two for $2.50. I forgot that I was not in CA and there is no CRV fee. Go Arizona!! My total was $4.59. Nothing special besides the Blockbuster Kiosk machine. Oh yeah, I forgot Redbox serves most 7-Eleven. How is it CA gets the red kiosk when its a Democratic State versus Arizona getting Blockbuster blue kiosks when its a Red State...lol. On a final note, Circle K has a special on soda fountain drinks called the Thirst Buster 32oz and 44oz for only $0.79. Not freaking bad!! The Yelp Universe. Where are you traveling today?

I guess I will spend my money a Costco who allows you get a physical card. I was an add on member from my husband anyway, won't be spending our household money here.

The scan-and-go feature helps alleviate the crowds as well. Only negative is that Costco beats them in the food court, pizza/hotdogs because they have a much smaller staff to prepare foods even though their pizza beats costco pizza. We visit Costco much less often vs Sam's Club nowadays...it just has more of what we're looking for.

I went to get a money order to pay rent, considering that's what they have for services. I get coins and bills as tips. I use my own time and buy paper rolls for easier counting due to the fact that covid shut most banks down in the time being. So I had 7 rolls of $10 in quarters and maybe 5 in Dimes and nickels, and maybe 4 rolls of pennies. They literally denied me service and told me they wouldn't take my money. I tried to politely ask if I could talk to a manager and the gal at the desk didn't want to get a manager involved. One thing I want to mention is that I MYSELF worked as a front end manager of Albertsons, same company and I never denied a single customer of wanting to use change - because we have change counters!!:) takes about 3 mins to run change - if needed!! Most of the time you can tell if change is all there. The store manager proceeded to tell us to leave and as we were walking OUT of the store, and we were' tin the store, the manager proceeded to yell at us to get out of here when the security guard was talking and being civil with us! He was asking what was going on and told him what happen and the security guard agreed why they wouldn't take the change and was making us leave! (At this point we were out side and I was in tears because of how embarrassing this situation was.) The grocery manager at this point still proceeded to follow us outside, staring us down. I will never send any friends or spend a single penny back into this terrible company.

Aisles are wide enough, signage is clear, and after a couple visits you don't really have to think about where things are. It's not one of those stores where you feel like you're navigating a maze every time you go in. Quality is generally good. Produce is fresh more often than not, and the selection is broad enough that you're not settling. Same goes for the rest of the store. Nothing feels neglected or picked over unless you hit it at a bad time. Staff has always been helpful when needed, but not hovering. Quick interactions, point you in the right direction, keep things moving. Checkout lines can vary depending on the time of day, but that's pretty standard anywhere. It's not a perfect store. You'll hit the occasional crowded evening or a product that's out of stock. But those are small things in the bigger picture. What matters is this. It's close, it's dependable, and it does what you need it to do without turning a simple grocery run into a chore. Four stars, and it earns them through consistency.
