I have prescriptions filled at the Walgreens on 24 hwy in Susquehanna. Every single time I have one filled, I wait in the drive thru lane for at least 30 minutes. Not exaggerating. Today I went to pick up 2 prescriptions that had already been paid for and they told me it was ready for pick up. There were only 2 cars ahead of me. Arrived in line at 1:44pm. I finally got to the window at 2:20pm!!!!!! Thirty five minutes just to pick up!!! Every single time!!!! I might just have to stay going to CVS. This Walgreens has gone downhill fast. read more

I called the pharmacy at 5:30 and they said we will have your prescription ready for you. I came right away and arrived at 5:45, pharmacy closes at 6:00pm. I was in the drive thru line with one car already talking to the pharmacy staff. I was waiting there for a bit some time and I made eye contact with the staff so they knew I was in line. At 5:59 the car ahead of me moved up so I proceeded to go and it hit 6:00 and they slapped the big pharmacy closed sign on the window in front of me. I could see the staff through the window where the sign wasn't covering and they simply just laughed and snickered at me. What kind of customer service is this?? Forever long on hold for Pharmacy. Was calling in cause I got a message that there was a delay on my prescription due to insurance information. I gave this location my new insurance card in person just last week. Don't have a problem giving it again if they would just answer the phone. I'm still a customer even though I'm not in front of them. I may have to drive there to resolve the issue. But I bet my prescription will not be ready and that I'm going to have to come back again to pick it up. Very inconvenient and poor service on Walgreens part. I have seen some of the negative reviews from the pharmacy side, but the majority of my experiences here have been from the retail side, so that is where I choose to review them by. This particular location used to be open twenty four hours a day. They have cut their hours back and are now only open from 6:00 a.m. until midnight. While some may complain, I can understand that it was a fiscal decision. Talking to the man behind the counter he said that he had worked an overnight shift and a total of three people came through the door. The store is well stocked, clean, and the staff are friendly. I have relied on them for late night runs (well, now as long as it is before midnight. Like Cinderella, this location has to leave the ball by midnight) and convenient stops when I need something quick. This is a fine example of the brand. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. If you take a controlled substance that you need filled promptly, I would advise you go anywhere else, as this pharmacy can't seem to get there system dates right. Pharmacy manager Hien (spelling?) in particular seems particularly incompetent or uncaring about patients. Despite my finally going in with the bottle clearly labeled 7/13/2021 for the date, she or the system "disappeared" my refill requests on 8/15, 8/17, 8/18, and 8/19, claiming that their system displays a last fill on 8/19 or some other incorrect date. Their system even showed online that it was filled on 7/15/2021!! The pharmacist/managers Shiraz and Reggie did great, but I don't see them anymore. The errors now seem to occur whether ordering refills by phone, on line, or by app. BEWARE! BTW, the Publix pharmacy at Town Park rocks!!! read more

5-stars because of Hailey's customer service over at the Pharmacy. She was diligent and patient at the same time. Working all alone, she busted her butt to get prescriptions filled. When it was my turn in line, she asked if I was dropping off and I asked if I could wait. She said she couldn't promise, but she will try. It was 30 minutes before midnight closing, so I understood. My husband and I perused the store as we waited. Before we knew it, she called my name over the PA system and we were on our way home. I am not one to leave negative reviews very often, most of my reviews are to provide positive feedback. However, I would like to help people who are trying to decide on where to get prescriptions filled to make an informed decision about where to go. I had a horrendous experience with the pharmacist, Aaron Overton, this morning. He had the audacity to blame me, huffing and puffing with an attitude that they did not have my prescription ready when they said it would be ready. I was in excruciating pain from having mouth surgery and having an implant placed into my bone in my mouth, and I could not talk. He insisted I should have called to check on when the prescription would be done although they said they'd send an alert. I could not talk. They knew that when I dropped the prescription off!! They said an hour at 5:30pm. As I waited for an alert, I passed out from the pain. I woke up, no alert. It was 10:15pm, so they were closed. I've gotten alerts before so I know it works. This morning he tells me there are no alerts sent after 9pm and my med was ready at 9:14pm. Last I checked, 1 hour after 5:30pm is no where near 9pm. Since they didn't fill it when they said, and knew I wouldn't get an alert after 9pm, they should have called. All he had to do this morning was apologize for the confusion, instead of being an uncaring a$$h**e and blaming me for their miscommunication! Wait... I went to take a pic of the address on the prescription paper for this review, and it says it was filled at 7:08pm... so you're telling me they didn't log it until 9:14pm?!? IKYFL! II used to love this pharmacy, now they can't seem to refill a simple prescription after 30, 32, 33 and even 34 days!!! Reggie, Christian, Ryan, Shiraz and so many great staff have treated us great before. Now, nightmare in the drive through, made only worse in the store by the pharmacy manager, Hen or something like that.Online system has one date, my medication bottle has another, and according the Hen, their system has yet ANOTHER date. This isn't the only time, nor am I the only customer encountering this. Pity. It was so nice and convenient when the store and pharmacy were 24 hours. Went for 2 drinks and a quick snack. The drinks I wanted to get might have been recently stocked because it wasn't chilled. I didn't mind picking something else. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 was because of the check out process. The only cashier in the front had a customer experiencing an issue with payment. This held up the line. The cashier announced for another associate to help twice but no one helped. The cashier then asked a beauty associate to assist and she gladly helped. I understand the shortage of staff due to the pandemic so I'm looking forward for my next trip to update! read more

I am able to get my prescriptions refilled over the phone and they will call me to remind me about this, which I appreciate. Worst pharmacy ever!!! Pick up a bunch of different medications every month for my husband and every time there is a problem. No one ever knows anything and when you call you sit on hold forever until they feel like picking up. Was on my way to pick up Insulin before leaving on vacation tomorrow to find out they closed at 4 because they don't have a pharmacist. They should of stayed open for people to at least pick up their meds. Now away on vacation without enough insulin for a week. Definitely transferring all his meds to a different pharmacy. read more

They get prescription wrong all the time. You call, you are always the third caller, an hour later they pick up and hang hp on you. So you have to go to the store, argue about the prescription they served wrong and then u need to return and pick up the correct prescription an hour later because they can serve it quickly! Just got denied treatment after I was 5 minutes late to an appoinntment at the clinic after fighting through rush hour traffic to get there. I was a total of 8 minutes past my appointment after I tried signing in on their computer only to be told there were no more appointments for the day and I could sit and wait to see if someone wouldn't show up for their appointment. Never again will I visit this store or clinic. read more

I've learned to call to find out if all scripts area ready before driving to pharmacy. As great as they were just prior to Covid-19 shelter in place -- they have been unreliable since. As I'm older it's harder for me to get out to pick up prescriptions and so I try to make as few trips as possible. I call ahead to find out of they are all ready since the e-mail notification is also not reliable. Phoning ahead can take anywhere from a half hour to 1.5 hours to talk to someone. This past Friday morning cardiologist sent over 4 new prescriptions. I called Friday evening -- not ready. Called Saturday and pharmacy dept was closed as no pharmacist for closing shift so they closed at 7pm. Called Sunday 2 of 4 prescriptions still not ready. One out of stock but told it would be in Monday. Called Monday "it should be in tomorrow". Good thing the medications aren't for pain -- just congestive heart failure. Whatever the problem(s) -- needing more pharmacists, supply chain issues, things need to improve. I am going to look into getting my prescriptions filled elsewhere. Have been working with this pharmacy since it opened many years ago. It's really gone downhill. read more

The last time I was in the cashier pointed out some things on sale that I hadn't noticed. I came to drop off two scripts for my partner on our way home from his surgery, including a narcotic script. It took almost 30 minutes just to drop off the script. I was willing to understand that they were pretty busy and only had about two pharmacy techs on site plus the pharmacist. I asked the pharmacist when they would be ready, because the provider at the hospital stated my partner should start the narcotic right away to help stop the pain as the anesthesia wore off. He told me 2.5 hours. Considering that's a very long wait for a narcotic post op, I still understood and told them I would come back. I returned 3 hours later to give them time to have the medication ready. After waiting in line for about 10 minutes, they tell me that the narcotic will not be ready for at least another 30 minutes. I am very irritated and I'm still sitting here waiting for this Rx. My partner is in pain and has been waiting for this medication since we left the hospital. I work in the healthcare field and I understand situations in which they might find themselves understaffed and very busy. However, we must always do what's best for our patients, and having someone who needs a narcotic wait over 3 hours in order to have some relief is poor patient care. Aside from all this, I do appreciate the pharmacy staff being patient and friendly considering the amount of frustrations directed towards them. Update: after waiting the 30+ extra minutes to fill the narcotic, I'm checking out and the pharmacy tech asks me if that's the only one. I tell him no, he told me the other medication was ready when I first for there. A search party ensues for him to find the medication that was already filled. 15 minutes later, I'm pretty sure they just dispensed it again. These people have no idea what they are doing. I order through the app and will call to check on it and it's not in their system. Or I will order and then 2 days later they have stocked the medicine back without calling or emailing me that it was ready. Lake Pickett Walgreens is a much better choice than this location. They really have bad customer service. I have been going here for years and it has just gotten worse and worse. I need to find a better pharmacy ASAP. read more

This pharmacy just completely wasted my time at almost completely screwed me. Highly unprofessional, highly disorganized, the pharmacist has a personality of a bump on a log. They told me there is enough of the medication that I needed to fill my prescription, made me wait over an hour after telling me 25 minutes, told me that they were working on it when in fact they weren't. Forgot about me all together. Then when they filled my prescription gave me half the amount of medication that I needed. This after they told me they had enough to begin with. Then they wanted me to go back to my doctor and get another prescription. Horrible customer service, horrible work ethic stay away from this location. read more

Man o' man! So, we go through the drive-thru to drop of the scripts and it takes an eon. There's one person attending to in-store guest and one person attending to both lanes of drive-thru. The gentleman pulls up my info, that we both acknowledge is out of date, but I verified it so I guesssss it's okay?! Address, phone number ALL out of date ... AND in another state. Anywho, I drop the scripts off and leave because I honestly didn't think twice hoping they at least had the right phone number. I send someone else to pick up because I'm in horrible pain. My total is $100 when I get them because this guy never took the time to verify my insurance with me and charged me full price!!! Like how do we not confirm insurance and a phone number at the very least?? When we questioned the price he didn't even look into it, we had to ask if my insurance was attached. Because I wasn't physically present my insurance couldn't be added so I have to return with my receipt and insurance JUST to get refunded the difference. This is such an inconsiderate process for people who are 8/10 already not feeling well. A simple verifying and updating of information could've went a long way. read more

I usually don't write reviews but I just had such a nice experience with the beauty counter woman. I didn't catch her name but she was wearing a green shirt and a necklace with a circle. She was SO nice and helpful! As soon as she saw me wandering the beauty aisle, she gave me coupons, samples, told me all about the beauty events that would save me a ton of money. I've had a hard time with this pharmacy for over a year. My monthly birth control is sent here and I always receive text messages from walgreens letting me know when it's time to refill. I always text back refill and they then send me a confirmation when it's ready. Now every time I go into pickup my prescription, it's a wait time simply because I apparently never refilled it through text message. Drive thru line is always a 40 minute wait after 4pm, I am finally switching pharmacies, this is ridiculous. Service isn't great and no one is on the same page. Would give zero stars. read more

Went to the pharmacy here and the lady there was coughing directly into both hands and then just checking people's prescriptions out like it was nothing. Then rubbed her nose with the front side of her hand. She never once used sanitizer or washed her hands. Then she went to the back to fill prescriptions.. she's touching my antibiotics you think working in a pharmacy they would know about germs!!!!!!!!!!! I understand people get sick and have to go to work, but at least cough in your elbow or your shirt. I left absolutely disgusted and wondered if I would leave catching more than what I came to get my antibiotics for. read more

Big shocker... I came back to this Walgreen's despite my previous terrible experience and it was no better this time. I had no other option but to come here or drive 20 minutes elsewhere. We arrived and of course, were not greeted. Not normally an issue we care about, but it does appropriately foreshadow the customer service at this location. It was after midnight and I needed certain feminine products because I'm going through a miscarriage. The entire process has left me looking a little pale, borderline zombie. My boyfriend went with me because I can't really drive when cramping. I got what I needed and my boyfriend went ahead and picked up some vitamins. We made our way to the counter and there was no one in line. When we put our things on the counter, the cashier gave me a nasty look as if I were some diseased rotting corpse. Despite what I'm going through, despite my general pained facial expression and pale complexion, I look fine. My hair was fine. I wasn't really wearing make up. I'm always dressed decent when I go out anywhere. I had VS body spray on (one spritz, never over powering). So I fail to see what that nonsense was all about. Then when she handled the product, she pinched it with two fingers to scan it. Really? Then she told me the total and gave me that disgusted face. I motioned that she hadn't scanned my boyfriend's vitamins and she gave him a surprised look, to which he noticed, was not enthused with and said "yes, we are together." I wish I would have noticed her name. These people usually don't wear name tags but this one was. I was just so out of it I didn't read it. She was older and had longer grey-ish hair.
