Terrible Walgreens- super not friendly, you will wait at the counter forever and the workers just stare at you. Always a mess

Waited in drive thru line for 20 minutes today to pick up RX. This store is always slow and pharmacy staff is rude. Took my Mom in for her flu shot appt and waited 30 minutes for the shot. Pharmist barely spoke or looked at us. read more

This is the worst Walgreens i have ever been to. They are extremely rude to you at the pharmacy- they give you attitude and huff under their breath like getting your medicine is the hardest part of their day. Not to mention they're not even nicer over the phone- they are just as rude. Had a pharmacist just hang up on me, no goodbye no thank you just hung up in the middle of me saying thank you. how can you be so rude to someone? i'll never understand it. especially when i need just one prescription. i will be having my medication transferred (if they can even manage to do that) and i will NEVER return to this walgreens. Oh ! and don't want the same treatment at an urgent care? don't visit the velocity next to it. they're just as awful. read more

I'm staying in Norfork va while my daughter goes thru chemo and she and I both visited this Walgreens for our flu shots. We made appointments for 1030am and 1040am. We waited for a half hour before asking when we would be seen. Finally we both got vaccinated. Which I and my daughter barely felt the needle so I'm checking with my Dr back home to make sure I actually received it! My most major complaint was the people in the pharmacy especially the pharmacist were the RUDIEST people I've come across in the month that I've been here! They were slow as hell in watching all the employees behind counter. I would highly recommend using a different pharmacy. read more

These people are fools, want to charge you the most money possible, and do not care about their patients health. Just horrible all the way around. Do yourself a favor! Horrible. Slower than pond water on my in person visits. Had me on the phone for 20 mins just for a simple answer to a question I asked. Kept answering and putting me on hold until one person finally said they don't do what I asked here which was a reading of a tb skin test. Obviously, switching my pharmacy, however, be warned, if they are busy, out of your med, or just for no reason they can give you...they will mark your prescription "Delayed, Reviewing Insurance" I called my insurance, they had no problem. I called the pharmacy, waited on hold forever, when someone answered the phone, they said "oh, it is good you called, I have it right here." (They had had it for 3 days!) When I questioned what the problem was, they said it was insurance. I replied that I called the insurance company and there was no problem. When pressed for an answer, they said I don't know, I have your medication. So I have it 4 days after the doctor prescribed it, and I shouldn't complain. My advice-Find another pharmacy...Walgreens at 115 W Little Creek Rd, Norfolk, VA does not want your business if you would like them to be prompt and professional. read more

Don't waste hours of your life messing with this pharmacy. Don't leave them voicemails, they never check them and blame other people. You'll be on hold for literally hours at a time. Trying to explain your situation will get you nowhere with their workers. The only one that seems competent is the Pharmacist and they have her running around doing everything for everyone because she's the only one doing anything to help. While waiting for my Covid shot my son (4) had to use the restroom. My husband asked someone who worked there by the name of Chris if we could use the bathroom. He immediately caught an attitude and started huffing and puffing because he didn't want to unlock the door to allow him to use it. Instead of just saying no. We were greeted with this ugly demeanor. While shopping at Walgreens, there were many things that bothered me. The main complaint I have was the customer service. I have been cussed out by the employees on multiple occasions, and have been denied service when trying to check out. I have had to stand there waiting for them to get off their phone for 10+ minutes before! That is not acceptable. Other comments I have on your establishment consist mainly of the unsanitary conditions. Mud on the floor everywhere, the bathrooms have urine and feces on the floor frequently, and the mood of the store is never pleasant. Due to my location and income, there are not a ton of other locations i can turn to, so I would really appreciate some change. read more

Just another reason to fall in love with Walgreens: I just discovered that there is iPhone app for Walgreens. Now I can upload iPhone photos directly to Walgreens and pick up the prints one hour later!! This is better and faster than a kiss on the lips!!! read more

We have had consistently horrible, slow, and unresponsive pharmacy service at this Walgreens. Today, we gave up on waiting and went home after sitting in the drive-thru for 30 minutes without moving a single car length up in the five-car-long line. We've also consistently waited for 45+ minutes on the inside of the store, even when the prescription has already been filled and just needs to be paid for. No one behind the counter moves with any kind of a sense of urgency. The ONLY time we've had swift service was when we showed up at 9:55pm, five minutes prior to the pharmacy closing at 10pm. So, apparently that's the trick. That said, the front checkout people are always relatively quick and friendly. So, as long as you're not coming here for a prescription, it's an ok place. read more

My experience at the Walgreens photos kiosk was horrible! The first person that greeted us was rude at first but then is he became nice,but Mark was rude and not helpful at all! I was referred to a Walgreens to fill a prescription as the place originally prescribed for pickup did not carry the appropriate dosage for my prescription. I choose this location as the closest to where I had other business. I was told to inform them to call the original pharmacy to transfer the prescription. They had to call and facilitate the transfer within the next two hours before the original pharmacy closed. I stressed this point to the man who attended me at the drive through window. He wrote down the information he needed, and said the medication would be ready in about 3 hours. I asked if I would receive a call when it was ready and he replied "yes". I continued to go about my business waiting for the call. After 3 hours, with all my other business finished with no phone call, I went back to check on the status of my prescription. A different pharmacist came to window and said that they could not reach the original pharmacy to transfer the prescription, and they must be closed. I asked if they had called before the 2 hours were gone since the original pharmacy was closing, and they had been waiting for the call to transfer the prescription. The pharmacist said the guy who took the information didn't say anything about needing to call within a time limit. The prescription is needed for a procedure to be performed the next day. Their lack of communication, sloppy performance, and general lack of care has caused more stress in an already stressful situation. This was a short notice prescription. I will not be trusting my future health and business to this location. I prefer to find a different location that takes pride in their job, and is serious about customers health when assistance is needed. read more

Pleasantly greeted by cashier when I walked in. She asked if she could help, I told her looking to get a passport photo she directed me where to go and called for someone over the intercom. Before I made it to photo desk a lady appeared asked if she could help, I told her why I was there she snapped my photo told me it could be 10 mins but had the photo in my hand in less than 2 mins. I paid and was back out the door. It was just a photo but when I looked them up on Yelp they had poor reviews but I thought I would give them a chance due to closeness to the base. To me they checked all the wickets and my experience wasn't close to the reviews and I would hate for others not to give them a chance. read more

Super polite employees. They're very helpful. This Walgreen's is almost a department store. The store is clean and well-organized. Their sales are really good, and they're nice about issuing rain checks for sale items that aren't in stock (this only happened once). Walgreen's Nice! brand is comparable to brand names items. Finally, they have a nice selection of wine with a good range of price/quality. read more

I will never be back. The woman in the pharmacy on 8/8/19 was the rudest person I've ever dealt with in a customer service situation. I did not catch her name, otherwise I would say it here. I never ever need medications, but I did this day. For some reason, one of my meds wasn't there and there was some mix up. This woman in the pharmacy rudely told me that the only way to fix it would be for her to call my insurance company, but she's too busy to do it now so she may call me later in the day. So I called the insurance company in my car and went back to the woman to tell her what my insurance company said. She became ever more rude with a nasty attitude. I will never shop in a Walgreens again and I hope corporate employees see this. She worked on 8/8/19 in the pharmacy at opening. read more

Worst customer service I have ever received at any pharmacy. Wait is long, employees are rude/nonchalant. One employee actually asked me why I was getting something refilled (though I had a refill left), which is a complete violation of my privacy and just plain rude. There is ALWAYS a wait at the pharmacy counter--yesterday I spent 12 minutes in the drive through even though I was only the 2nd car in line. The assistants that ring you up are either really great and helpful or the complete opposite (my first prescription I even had to ask to have my insurance applied to my bill). I have finally decided to switch pharmacies after picking a prescription up yesterday and instead of the 12 pills that I paid for that were supposed to be in the bottle there were only 4. :( read more
