It's just like any other pharmacy. Nothing special. Went this week for my Covid booster. Chose this location based on booster availability. I was told to arrive 15 minutes early which I did. Then I promptly sat in the waiting room for close to 25 minutes. Nobody else was waiting. Nobody was in line at the pharmacy. Finally the pharmacist leads me into a broom closet size cubicle. Didn't ask my name or ask me to verify any information. Didn't even ask me what vaccine I was getting. Gives me the shot and walks out. I thought I was supposed to wait 15 minutes for observation? But nobody told me where to go wait. So I just booked it the hell out of there to my waiting getaway car. read more

Walgreens - Drugstores Near Me - Natick, Massachusetts

Very shoddy. I called on Wednesday to get a refill on my pups anti seizure medication. I had enough to get through Friday night. This was a refill mind you, I thought this would be plenty of time in the event there were any issues. By late Thursday afternoon, I do not hear from them. Usually I get some kind of message either it is ready or there is some kind of delay. So I call them can't get through until Friday 1pm. I am told they need to verify the DEA number of the vet. Since Wednesday I ask. They say they don't know what happened. Call back in a few hours. So I do it took me two hours before I got through. They still had not called the vet. I tell them the vet closes in one hour and my pup is going to start missing doses. They tell me they are going to call now. Now it is Saturday morning, shockingly I do not get through. I start driving there on my way I call the vet. They tell me they sent something over twice on Friday. And would send again now. I get to walgreens, they say they still do not have what they need or can't read the Dea number. They call the vet while I am waiting, the vet calls me and asks that I come in to pick up the script. Which I do, it is the same script that was sent to Walgreens. I could read the DEA number and evidently so could CVS because that is where I brought the script and had what I needed in half hour. I should not have had to spend hours on this. This is a medication. A very much needed medication that could cause harm to my pup if she has missed doses. A little scary to think about if they are this lax with everybody's and every pets medication. Also, the Vet office said staff was rude when they called. Nobody apologized or seemed to care about the potential harm this could have caused my pet. read more

I was looking for a specific product and the initial employee I requested help from tried her best. She eventually pointed me to pharmacy, as the product had a pain relief element to it. The woman behind the pharmacy answered no to my question almost before I even finished speaking. She went back to talking with a coworker. I then found the product on my own. I went back to the pharmacy to inform them where it was in case anyone else were to ask they would be able to help that person in the future. I waited there about 30 seconds, making eye contact with one employee as the woman i had questioned before continued talking, effectively ignoring me. Her back was to me, but her coworker signaled with body language and eye contact she had a customer. I let out a deep sigh, threw my hands up and walked out. The woman never turned around. Its possible this was a serious conversation and was more important than me (I worked at a cvs pharmacy when I was younger for years) but that certainly was not the vibe. Medications are easier to obtain here vs CVS across the street. Pharmacists are nicer as well.

I refilled my prescriptions here for almost 8 yrs and they have become completely impossible to deal with over the last year, now keeping very few meds in stock, won't autofill, insisting no refills available when the bottle clearly says there are, and being extremely rude. Be careful when getting a multi-dose vaccine here; the instructions for when the second dose is due are sometimes wrong. Double check accordingly because they take no accountability for their mistakes and offer no empathy when you follow instructions and show up for your shot but are turned away because not enough time has passed. Fortunately, you can schedule your future vaccine shots elsewhere, hoping for more accuracy on dates. read more

While the people behind the counter are nice, I'm getting tired of there always being a reason I can't pick up my prescription. I've had to ask to be taken off the mail to list 3 times (because it doesn't arrive or is 3 weeks late and they "can't" give me anything while I wait) and the customer service woman is always surprised when i say I've done this three times in one year. I've never requested it to be mailed. I've had my prescription "put back" multiple times after having texts say they'll hold it. I've come the day of and a few days after getting this text. I've also had to call saying I need refills to be told their computer says they can't refill for another week even though I'm out. People are nice, but I shouldn't have to come three times in one week and have to wait for them to fill it the third time. I'm switching pharmacies. read more

We made an appointment for flu and Covid vaccines for my 20 year-old son a few weeks ago on Dec 29th 2022. We showed up on time and went to the pharmacy. The lady who took care of us at the counter was seriously impolite, bad-mannered. However, this was nothing in comparison to the pharmacy manager. He was incredibly rude. I have never experienced anything like this anywhere. I am a physician and I know how to treat patients with respect and empathy. This person displayed a mix of arrogance and hostility. In addition to his impoliteness, he challenged if we were going to have the resources to pay $60.00 dollars for the Flu vaccine in an antagonistic tone. At the end, the Covid vaccine was applied, and we decided not to proceed with the Flu to avoid the aggressiveness of this individual (we went to CVS instead). In an embarrassing episode, my son even said "thank you for applying the vaccine, have a good night" with his sweet broken voice to calm this man down. He did not answer, he just ignored him. Important to say, the couple that was before of us experienced the same aggressiveness. This was an elderly couple that told us to be "patient with the manager manners" when they left. We did see how this elderly couple was treated by this person. I felt bad for them. We have observed the behavior of the pharmacy employees at this particular Walgreens location. We are shocked to see how the pharmacy personnel treat their patients, clients, elderly couples, even kids with special needs! I reached out to the district manager of Walgreens recently and I did not receive an answer. This place has to be avoided. The pharmacy team needs some serious training on customer service, particularly treating patients. They need to understand they are healthcare professionals dealing with human beings in need. read more

I saw a dermatologist this morning and was diagnosed with having shingles. I was not expecting that diagnosis. I went to Walgreens to fill the prescription and was told that my out of pocket cost was $189.27. I was shocked! I had not signed up for Medicare part D because I'm not on any prescription drugs. Big Mistake! Mark, who is the pharmacist advised me to go online and look up a discount coupon for the medication. I did that and my out of pocket cost was now $68.39. Thank you Mark! I am now enrolled in a Medicare part D prescription drug plan that will begin on Nov. 1st, just in case something out of the blue like this happens again. There are a multitude of online discount coupons for prescription drugs. Keep my experience in the back of your mind if you're not on a prescription drug plan. read more

This is a store of two reliable kinds of miracles. First, the pharmacists, while inevitably helpful if you're patient and cheerful, always seem harried and on edge no matter how few people are waiting. Second, no matter how few people are in line ahead of you at the store register, the time it takes makes it seem like twice as many. As to the merchandise, it's a standard small store. read more

I have reviewed so many of these places (CVS, Walgreens, etc, etc), it's REALLY becoming a bad habit. Then, again more and more feedback about these places can only better the consumers who use them, right. What is there to say other than the typical stuff about a store like this? This is like every other, average pharmacy in a 10 mile radius. Nothing different, with the exception that it isn't open 24 hours like CVS, right across the street on the other side of Route 135. Anyway, it's organized, has all of the essentials (food, beauty products, candy, medical items), and isn't too busy (much less busy than the CVS), and has some of the best prices around (Walgreens always seems less than CVS in general). Perfect to stop at if you don't feel like going into the huge supermarket (Roche Bros) next door or if you forgot to buy something or a few things there (of course, that happened to me... went to Roche Bros to food shop, and right when in the parking lot, realized I forgot a few things!) Overall, fine pharmacy and decently rearranged. Located at the busy intersection of Speen Street & West Central Street (Route 135) in Natick, sometimes parking is limited around here; but most often you will still be able to find a spot. 4 stars. read more

Disrespectful, dismissive, and highly uncooperative pharmacy staff. I had lost my blood pressure medication in a recent move and they refused to fill it when I said it *might* be too early for a refill (it wasn't). It wasn't even a controlled medication! Go to the CVS across the street instead. read more

I usually go to CVS across the street but felt like avoiding the intersection today, so pulled into Walgreens for a few items instead. As I was walking the isles, I noticed an employee literally following me from isle to isle watching me.... Wasn't sure if he thought I was trying to steal something, but it was weird. When I went to check out, the cashier (don't remember name/didn't look at name tag) made several creepy/gross/inappropriate comments in response to my buying a pink gift bag and pink wrapping paper..... then said he "won't say anything else that just came into his head because he has to be 'professional'".... I tried to stop engaging in conversation and just wanted to pay and get out of there, but the cashier then said that he didn't actually ring anything up and had to unpack and rescan each items, while continuing to speak about overly personal and strange things including the fact that both of his parents are dead and being an orphan is hard..... then kept commenting on how much money I was spending.... literally just wanted to buy my items and leave and had to keep nodding and avoid eye contact because I was uncomfortable. Until there is a self check out option I will not be returning to that store in my lifetime. read more

Used to like Walgreen's but after several horrible customer service issues and poor corporate response won't use Walgreen's any more whenever there is an alternative. What could have been minor problems relating to billing for online photo services at two local stores was not taken seriously by customer service so they have lost a great customer. Just a little courtesy goes a long way if you want to maintain customer support. Wake up customer relations! read more
