I'm 6 deep at 12:30pm on a Tuesday in line at the pharmacy. Talk about people that either hate their jobs, don't care or both. It's so slow I'm actually having my rx sent to another Walgreens to pick up. This place is a total disappointment. read more

I'm done. After five years of slow service and screw ups, I'm calling it quits at this pharmacy. They have messed things up in the past, but last night after waiting nearly two hours, I only went home with two of four prescriptions that had been called in six hours earlier. The issue was not supply based. The pharmacy simply assumed I didn't want the drugs because they were expensive and I did not have insurance. I explained three times that I DID want the prescriptions filled, but I needed to get home. The pharmacy took it upon themselves to cancel the other drugs ordered by the doctor. read more

Worst Walgreens I have ever been to. This is my story on trying to get one prescription filled: Attempt 1: My doctor send the prescription over, the pharmacy's automated system calls to tell me it's ready. I go to the Walgreens and they tell me the prescription is actually not ready to please come by in one hour. Ok... Attempt 2: I come back the next day and they have 1/3 of my prescription ready. They ask me to then come back another day for the remaining 2/3 of the prescription. Attempt 3: I come by the Walgreens three days later after I get another automated call saying my prescription is ready but of course life isn't that easy. The pharmacist tells me it's actually not ready and still has to be dispensed. They ask me to come back in 1 hour. I leave. Attempt 4: A few days pass as I am out of town until I get a call from Walgreens asking me when I will be passing by to pick up my prescription as it has been about a week. I tell them I have been busy but I will come by in the next couple of days. They say no problem we will hold it. I come by the next morning at 9am... NO prescription! They tell me they are out and will have to order it. Seriously?! Attempt 5: I'll try again today after work. Please pray for me. Long story short: don't ever go here for prescriptions. read more

ZERO STARS... it was like being in a 3rd world country. The power went out and the computers took 40 minutes to reboot. When I finally got my prescription from the pharmacy the label on the medication was smudged and dirty. They did not notify me that they had both of my medications because the other is not covered by my insurance ( a fact I know) so they DIDN't feel the need to MENTION IT.... ?!? Horrible and halfwitted pharmacy staff. Honestly I would expect more from such a prominent location. read more

I think there should be an option for photo pick up so that you don't have to wait behind people getting their passport pictures taken, retouched, printed, paid for. If you have 2 like this infront of you, forget it, you'll never leave.. No use waiting close to an hour for something that will take less than a minute... read more

This Walgreens is very convenient because it's open 24 hours. So if you run out of, um, family planning supplies at 1 am, you know where to find them. Plus, they have a drive-through pharmacy window, with a pharmacy counter staff person dedicated to drive-through customers. (I've never used the service, but it seems like it may be pretty useful.) Disadvantages: Always a line. No matter how simple you think your purchase will be (just getting a pack of batteries or some chewing gum?), you WILL be in there for at least 20 minutes. They really need to hire more staff for the front checkout. Also, their medication prices could be lower. I recently compared prices for an antibiotic and a cream from the dermatologist without insurance coverage. This cost at this Walgreens would have been less than at the CVS on SW 27th Ave and at Navarro, but Costco still beat all of them by a lot. They do offer a membership for $20 (I think it's an annual fee) that provides 10% off purchases in the store and large discounts from the pharmacy. read more

This Walgreens is astonishingly understaffed. The entire experience of being in the store is painful because of it. God forbid you need something a staff member has to unlock with a key. I know some of the pharmacy techs are hard workers, but some could not possibly care less about their customers' needs. read more

I enjoy the convenience of it being opened 24hrs. There's been many nights I've been sick & just drive over to pick up what I need. Very friendly staff. I can usually find what I need. It's pretty organized & clean. The have tons of parking which is great. They have a redbox right outside. Convient for my sick nights. The only upside is that from time to time it can get a bit packed & not enough registers open. But the cashiers really try to be speedy. My favorite neighborhood pharmacy. read more

Unguarded contraception! Why do so many places in Miami have their family planning behind lock and key, guarded by the dead eyes of a clerk who probably hasn't had the need for contraception in years? Sometimes, I like to be able to browse the inventory without feeling the pressure to act fast. Maybe there's a new technology that I'm not willing to just impulsively jump into. I wonder how many babies have been conceived because someone was too shy to ask ... Second, I like the location of the Walgreens because I am able to cut through their parking lot to turn left onto Coral Way in case I forget that I'm on 2nd ave and can't turn left at the end. Used this twice by now. read more

Meh. Came for nail polish. They only had 6 or so shades of Essie in stock. Slim pickings when the display was able to hold several dozen. I walked around for 15 mins looking for a specific medication and finally found it in the least likely place, and no one offered me help in finding it. read more

This Walgreens is open 24 hours and they can actually fill your prescriptions, unlike the location on 37th Ave and US1. There's usually a bit of a line both at the pharmacy and at the front of the store. read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have ever been to. I have NEVER visited here without leaving in complete frustration. All the reviews about the pharmacy being painfully slow are true- there is always about a 30 minute wait just to speak to someone. Don't even try the drive-thru. There was also one incident when I went to pick up my prescription, and the woman had it on the counter, but told me she could not give it to me because she didn't know the price. I was confused..the price is printed on the package. She said "the system isn't registering it so I don't know." And put it back on the shelf. She told me to "try again another day" ....seriously? I went to another Walgreens and they had zero problem filling it. I refuse to go to this location. read more

0 stars. I have lodged a formal complaint with corporate imploring them to investigate this Walgreens. They have lost/messed up my prescription twice. This is just not unacceptable, this is downright dangerous. Hopefully it gets shut down. read more

It shouldn't even be getting a 1 star, this place is HORRIBLE in the pharmacy department unfortunately not to many pharmacies take my insurance so I've had to stick with them and of course this is the closest Walgreens location near my home. They are always packed no matter what time it is, no matter if it's in store or drive-thru not to mention they misplaced my RX. AVOID this Walgreens pharmacy if you can. read more

Worst pharmacy I have ever been to. They are unreliable and not knowledgeable with their own system. They had not had my prescriptions covered simply because they did not enter my name correctly so the insurance obviously did not recognize the name. Second, they put the wrong prescription through on a different occasion and told me my insurance won't cover it and I had to pay almost $200 out of pocket. When I called my insurance, they told me it was most definitely covered under my plan and my copay was just $10. This staff needs to have proper training and not just hire any random Joe that doesn't do the job right and cause all sorts of inconveniences to the patients. Luckily, the Walgreens down the street on Lejeune and 8th street, knows what they're doing and I can go there instead. This is by far the worst Walgreens pharmacy!! 35/Coral way! read more

Worst Walgreens ever. No attention to customers at the pharmacy window. Not a hello, not a be right with you. No acknowledgment at all. Standing here on my feet over 15mins like a schmuck. Serious misconduct and racial bias present at this Walgreens. Walked in to select a few thank you greeting cards for obvious reasons, as soon as I reach this section the PA system exclaims "security watch the floor". Coincidence maybe, but not likely, I guess motorcycle safety pants fit the description of Hallmark card theft-such a degrading experience. At the register, the lady stressfully but successfully sold me the cards and then asked if I'd like to donate to end child poverty- ironic... read more

My family uses this Walgreens because it's close but I don't recommend it. We constantly are given other people's prescription and wrong medication and dosage. They are not rude nor mean but just incompetent . Or simply don't care, just work for money not devotion. We tried the delivery service because my parents are in their 80s and we live across the street. The delivery driver couldn't find the address right across the street and today we all have GPS on our cells. So the meds weren't delivered and thrown in the back. Never, were we told that they couldn't deliver. My mom was without meds for a week thinking they were late on delivery. Today she went to the store and after much arguing it was found in the back. Over 12 meds that were due a week ago. The customer service is not given nor do they care. Where is the well paid supervisor???? I guess getting paid for nothing. Time to switch to CVS. read more

I've always gone to CVS, but lately I've been shopping at Walgreens. The items that I purchase are so much cheaper there than at CVS, and they seem to have better deals. The Pharmacy also has a great program for those who do not have health insurance. You pay, if my memory serves me right $20.00 a year, and you get a good percentage off your prescriptions. Helps me out a bunch! read more

I come here only when I have no choice. The cashiers are slow. Almost none of them speak English. I've picked up prescriptions here as well, and it's a piece of sh** whether I go through the drive-through or indoors. The pharmacy staff is overworked. They are good people, but Walgreens has them doing a million things at once. The result is a poor customer service experience. Again, I only come here when I have no choice. read more

This is consistently the worst Walgreens in town - long lines all the time, slow pharmacy drive-thru, just horrible. Today, I was charged $2 extra for an item. Stood in line of about 6 ppl to get it corrected only to be sent to the photo line of another 4 ppl bc that was the only person that could help me. Three lines for $2! No thanks. If you can go to a diff store, do it. read more

the worst!!!!!!! My Dr office called to fill prescription. Tech took info. I finally get a pharmacists and they said I need to speak to the HEAD pharmacist because this has been an ON GOING issue with the pharmacy----- and puts me on hold again!!!!!!!!!!!!!! still no prescription I give up the sad part is that I am a regular customer and fill prescriptions from other doctors with ease. read more

Consistently slow service at the pharmacy. Employees seem untrained and are unprofessional.

How do you go to a Walgreens where the pharmacists doesn't know how to read a prescription?!? I dropped off a prescription for my daughter and 3 hours later when I went to pick it up they said they could not fill it because the Dr. Didn't write the amount of days it should be taken. They tried to call the Dr. But couldn't get ahold of them. I took the prescription and looked at it while I was sitting in the car. I thought I read 5 days, but I'm not the expert here. I took the prescription to another Walgreens. They filled it in 10 minutes. They pharmacist pointed out where it said "5 days". I'm still upset. A pharmacist who can not read a prescription is not only an idiot, but also a danger. I can go on and on about the other problems with this place. The wait time, loosing prescriptions, quoting wrong co-pay, lack of caring staff. The list goes on. They are not properly performing their jobs. I wish I could give zero stars on this review. read more

This is by far the worst Walgreens I've ever been to. I do not recommend this pharmacy. Go to CVS or look for a nearby alternative

Way too busy...poor customer service. Waited 10 minutes just to talk to someone - completely ignored.

This Walgreens is open 24 hours I love the Pharmacy, the staff is friendly and it's awesome

This has been my go to pharmacy for the last few years since I live nearby. It's been okay for most of the things I need, and pharmacy has been seriously understaffed, and the wait lines can be ridiculous especially after 5pm and at noon. But I tried to go at times when I could avoid the crowds. What got me to write this review Is their drive thru service. I had my sick baby asleep in the car so I had to go with the drive thru option, which I usually avoid. I was given the prescription meds, then I asked the associate for an infant Tylenol to add as well. He said he couldn't do that. I mean, what is a drive thru pharmacy for, if I can't get the meds I need when I cannot go inside the pharmacy...??? Tylenol! i asked for f*ing Tylenol. Not something fancy rare medication. Shame on you Logan - (that's what his name is) for not doing your job. Now I'm gonna have to go back later and shlep around my sick baby just to get Tylenol. Exactly what I was trying to avoid. But it won't be this Walgreens!! read more

Absolute worst pharmacy experience I've had in my entire life. I've tried to give these guys a chance for the sake of convenience but I'm completely fed up with the incompetency of the pharmaceutical staff. I had to pay out of pocket for a prescription that was 100% covered but that the staff "could not find coverage for" to then have my insurance call them and request my refund. Not to mention they were hardly nice or helpful when I expressed my concern. Would give 0 stars if that were an option. read more

Worst Pharmacy ever! First they told me they did not have my prescription. Although the lady who was helping me did not speak a word of English and could not even say my name or phone number correctly when searching. So I called the Dr.'s office and they said it's definitely there. So I asked again 10 minutes later to someone else and they found it. They said it will be ready in a few minutes. It was an hour and a half before I finally got it. I had to ask the status of it 6 times before they finally decided to take care of it. I also needed an over the counter pill from the locked case on the floor, which is right next to the pharmacy, yet the pharmacy did not have the key. They paged someone else. I stood in front of the case for 20 minutes. No one showed up so I left without the pills. Never coming back here. A pharmacy is one place where there is no room for negligence. read more

This Walgreens is understaffed ALL the time! I This week I had to go twice, both times it took me over an hour standing in line. There are a lot of elderly in this area and on Friday night in front of me were two senior ladies standing for 45 min at 9pm. There was only one lady working in the pharmacy and taking care of the customers inside the store and in the drive thru line. read more

Yes there is ample parking, so that's good. However, they have many basic items under lock and key. For example, laundry detergent. VERY annoying for a customer to have to find someone to help him access laundry detergent. It's not a high-end TV. It's laundry detergent! What are you going to lock up next?! The sodas? read more

Do not go to this location...horrible service! This was my first time at a Walgreens as I normally shop at CVS but had to visit this store because they had a drive through and my sick 11 month old was asleep in the car. I had to fill a prescription for amoxicillin for my daughter and the spanish female clerk gave me an attitude because I needed it filled immediately. I waited the 15 minutes for the prescription and when I picked it up the syringe to give my daughter the medicine was missing. I asked her for one and she said they don't have one and it's been months since they have had any in stock. I then said "how am I going to give her the medicine" and she told me that I can buy one in the store. I asked her if she could please get it for me as my sick daughter was sleeping and I didn't want to wake her up. She said no because it was against store policy. So I wake my daughter up and go in the store and see that they don't have any syringes to purchase! So I had to go to the pharmacy where a pharmacist finally gave me one that he found. Fast forward 9 days later and I see that they didn't give me enough medicine to complete the dose prescribed. The Spanish male clerk looked at the label and told me it was enough. I opened it to show him he was wrong and with an attitude said that I had to talk to the pharmacy manager. Jorge (the pharmacy manager) is the only saving grace from my experience as he actually apologized for the trouble and gave me the medicine. I will never go to another Walgreen's let alone this location again. read more
