I am extremely disappointed with the level of customer and patient care at this pharmacy. Every time I call, I am placed on hold for 20+ minutes, which is incredibly frustrating and makes it very difficult to get any questions or concerns addressed. I was also told that my medication would be ordered, but nothing was actually done, and I was left waiting without any clear communication. I shouldn't have to repeatedly call or go in person just to make sure my medication is being handled properly. This entire experience has been extremely stressful. I understand pharmacies can be busy, but patients deserve better communication, follow-through, and basic customer service. They always have problems with medication supply and it's always hard to reach the pharmacy staff. It's a quest to receive your prescribed medication. When calling them, they prefer to put you on hold and then after certain waiting time the call got interrupted, ALL THE TIME. They don't care at all. Pharmacist asks customer to call other Walgreens location to find out whether other locations have your medicine in stock, but other pharmacist is not allowed to give info about controlled substances. For some reason, the first pharmacist doesn't know that....So uncoordinated and unprofessional.. read more

If I could've gave zero stars I would. AWFUL pharmacist. Rude, rushes and isn't helpful. Her name is SUSIE COSTA. The experience was so bad to the point where I had to reach out to corporate to make a complaint. If I didn't think me reacting to her awful customer service would've interfered with my $111 dollar refund I would've clicked out on her in the worst way! She didn't run my meds through my insurance. Being that I was in surgery my girlfriend could no confirm my insurance info and had to pay out of pocket. went back the next day and SUSIE was not helpful at all. The pharmacy wait time is the absolute worst here. This is the only location that seems to have my monthly script so I drive far just to come and I waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes and only one car moved. I parked and went inside to find a 15 person deep line, waited 10 minutes and it didn't move. The line is usually never less than 20 minutes but today takes the cake. I ended up leaving cause I didn't have another hour to stand in line. I'm writing this with hopes a manager or corporate see it, to change something or hire more employees. I'm not sure if it is the pharmacy at 3595 Coral Way, Miami or the pharmacy app. Every month there is an issue. Usually a prescription that the app states is in process and will be ready the next day is canceled without notice. The latest example is I see that two prescriptions that we're supposed to be ready are now showing that there is a problem and I must call pharmacy. When I called the pharmacist said that one prescription was reject by my doctor, I stated that the doctor's office confirmed yesterday that they resubmitted the prescription. The pharmacist responded by saying it will be ready tomorrow. Apparently they ignored what my doctor sent them yesterday until I pointed it out. The pharmacist said that the other prescription will also be ready tomorrow with no explanation as to why I needed to call. I'm off to CVS. read more

I want to take a moment to thank This particular Walgreens pharmacy. Javier was extremely knowledgeable and helpful. I originally went to the Walgreens and 87 ave and coral way. They created such an agonizing experience anyways that is forgotten. Javier from this pharmacy made it all go away. I needed medication for my daughter who will be turning 1 in 2 days. When you have an infant the worrying meter goes to 1,000. I'm just greatful for their outstanding customer service and amazing attention to detail and sense of urgency. Talk about terrible customer service - my doctor phoned in a script at 11am that I was to start TODAY. After waiting in line for 20 minutes they told me my insurance was rejected. After I confirmed they had the right Rx number for my insurance I went back to them and after another 5-10 minutes of staring at the screen and fumbling around - "Oh I see the problem, Walgreens doesn't accept your plan anymore. You need to go to CVS." Now it's 7:15 and as CVS warned me this Walgreens can leave CVS on hold 30 minutes to transfer a prescription so they won't have my meds until tomorrow. This is the worst pharmacy in the history of time. I don't think I've ever waited in line less than a half hour and the employees make an effort to not acknowledge you. They have 3 drop off windows and 1 pick up window...so if you're in a hurry to pick up your medication, it's better to try first thing in the morning unless you have time plenty of time to wait in line. read more
