I will be a brief and tactful as possible but a review to alert Pharmacy customers. This store has a storied history of poor customer service and has actually had a few occasions the entire store was closed for lack of staff which I've never seen anywhere! They don't answer their phone. You're placed on hold with typical music with periodic announcements until you get you are #3 in line. 45 minutes later you reach " your #1 in queue ". Ten minutes later you hear a Walgreens pharmacy person answer but it's actually it's a syllable or two and you're placed back in the loop before being disconnected. I say all of this because my Wife and I were exposed to a hospital patient resulting in Meningitis exposure and we had an urgent script sent by our PCP here for Ciro. Walgreens has our urgent script tied up over an insurance question when the single tablet course is $4 placing us at risk. Four dollars we could pay out of pocket. Never again will I place my trust in this Pharmacy. *** Update *** Went inside the store to the Pharmacy today to find out what happened to our PCP Stat prescription request. The Pharm Tech looked us up and said they were both filled but couldn't find my wife's. Two technicians began going through many bins until it was located in an incorrect bin. Once paid I has a Pharmacist counsel when I took the opportunity to ask what the pharmacy phone BS was about. I pointed out even while waiting for two technicians hunting for my wife's script there phone was ringing off the hook. No one behind the counter was phased by the endless phone ringing and all were clearly desensitized to it. The Pharmacist response was "You see everyone is busy back here it not like we are not working". I said your message should direct callers immediately you are not accepting call and to come into the store. She is absolutely clueless and could care less. Her attitude has ben embraced by all and become institutionalized in there culture. Corporate is my next stop. The pharmacy staff is SLOW and horrible if you need a script right away. I had to go find another Walgreens pharmacy location 30 away because the pharmacy staff told me it would take 3 + days to get my script and did not seem like they wanted to help and just wanted me off the phone. When I called another pharmacy the staff was super helpful and even got my order done on the same day and did not feel rushed like this location. I waited on hold for over 25 minutes then got hung up on. After driving to the location I was told that my prescription that was sent in last week, is on back order and they cannot order it. If I could give this particular Walgreens pharmacy zero stars I would. We travel all over the US as full time RVers and this is by far the most unorganized poorly managed Walgreens we use for prescriptions. It takes 5-10 days to get your prescription filled once it is submitted. I was told it would be ready on Friday. I called on Saturday and was told it would be ready in one hour. Went in on Sunday at 2pm waited in a 6 person line only to be told I would have a wait while they filled it. Unacceptable in my opinion. This is an on going issue every single time we get our prescriptions. I will be looking for a different pharmacy asap. read more

The store staff is great (only reason for 3 stars) although the pharmacy is horrible, I called as my sons prescription was out and I was trying to use app to place it and change pickup to same day but the app was not working so I called and the person who picked up was super unhelpful she said their was nothing they could do because they were "so backed up" they are one of the only few pharmacy's that have my sons prescription in stock and she still did not care so I called a different Walgreens and that girl was very helpful went over and beyond and called a different Walgreens for me to see if they could fill it and that Walgreens filled it in less than a hour for me to pick up I had to drive 40 mins there and back for it. read more

The pharmacy at this Walgreens is horrible! They cannot track their medications and when they will arrive or where they are. Tells me 4 days in a row. Come back this afternoon and we will have it. I wish I could give this place 0 stars.... The pharmacy is the WORST. Take 5 days to fill a prescription, and are somehow always out of stock of everything. I've had to drive to multiple different Walgreens to get medications that I needed multiple times. If you need to get ahold of someone in the pharmacy, good luck! I wasted 4 hours of my life yesterday on the phone constantly being out on hold and then hung up on multiple times only for the cycle to repeat itself. It would've been easier to go in person, but the line takes just as long! Once you get ahold of someone on the phone they are so rude and clearly do not want to be answering phones and helping people. I don't think many people understand why this pharmacy is having such a hard time & as a pharmacy tech I can give you a better idea as to why. I do not work with this location or organization and I feel for them so deeply and it's extremely upsetting reading these reviews. As it's clear it is not understood nor taken into consideration as to what is going on. While I feel for any customer who is not getting their medications on time or having to wait in long lines I would like to put somethings in to perspective. This job is not ran by technology, by systems, by any kind of technological factors (It also cannot be ran by technology either legally). It is all ran by humans. Your pills being counted, your prescription being accepted, your insurance running through the system, what your label looks like on the bottle, when your prescription is filled, to the pharmacist approving and finishing said prescription, and your prescription being put away. Every single step is done by a physical human. A lot of steps right? (Unless your script is from an outside manufacturer then the only step is to put your script away which can be an additional 200+ scripts). This pharmacy in particular looks as though they do not have nearly enough staff. They have even said it, they closed on weekends due to pharmacist shortages which is a HUGE issue in the pharmaceutical industry right now. They also what I have seen have 2-3 maybe at that techs working in their facility. You need at least 4-5 not including the pharmacist working at all times. So putting all these factors together not to mention from what I have seen they not only are understaffed but also have way more prescriptions than I've seen most pharmacy have including mine. This is not their fault. This is corporates fault. If they had enough staff in house not counting floaters from other stores things would run so smoothly. But for some odd reason corporate is not taking this seriously and it's obvious. Corporate is able to open positions for techs, they're able to get Walgreens staff to be cross trained in pharmacy, they are able to offer other techs in other locations to move to that location with additional perks, & it is clear they aren't proactive in that. You can tell the staff that does work is overworked and overwhelmed and I can see they are doing the best they can. But there's only so much one person can do when they have so many factors against them. I am positive they would have a great work environment if they had all the tools to help them. I do hope people can see this from a different perspective and take a second when you are angry at the person you are talking to and bashing their work ethic. When you're talking to someone who's probably working over 8-10 hours a day to help the store and is doing 3 different jobs at once because there's not enough of them. My recommendation as a tech would be unless you have prescription that are reoccurring and are not a controlled substance (as though go out of stock often) to take your script to another location that isn't having this issue until this location is in order. I know it's not ideal maybe for you but there's just as many Walgreens in this area as gas stations. So maybe instead of being angry take a second and know that you have options and they do not. If any workers at this location reads this keep up the great work and me and my pharmacy staff are rooting for you guys! I know soon things will go back in order and I know you guys are doing everything you can. PS: I would also recommend complaining to corporate and letting them know that they need to find solutions to help this location. read more

The service here is terrible. The wait times are extremely long, the hours change frequently. When I get text messages that my RX is ready for pick up- they are regularly not ready when I get there. Either the staff is uneducated or they lie- when I ask questions regarding specific medications, the answers change from staff member to staff member. I just switched everything from here to Costco pharmacy today after I sat in line for 40 minutes last night and they closed the window on me at 7:01. read more

Stay away from this pharmacy. Nothing is ever ready when they say it will be. I'm missing my insulin injections due to their ridiculous wait times. Dropped off my script 5 hours ago, she said 6pm, I went back at 7:30 and she said it was too busy and wasn't ready and to go to the back of the line after waiting 40 minutes. This review is specifically for the pharmacy. I have gone to this location as it's so close to my house two times now for vaccines, and both times felt like it took an unnecessarily long amount of time to get in and out. This last time just a couple of weeks ago, I arrived 10 minutes before my vaccine appointment just like all of their emails and text messages told me to. There was no one else waiting in the pharmacy, so I thought that is great. I will be out of here in no time. I am waiting 10 minutes, still waiting for my vaccine appointment. My appointment time comes and goes, another 10 minutes go by and I still do not have my shot and have no inclination of how much longer I'll be waiting. Another patient comes in for a vaccine shot, fills out all of his paperwork, sits down and they have a couple questions for him so they go back-and-forth while I'm still just sitting there, 15 minutes past my appointment time. Another 5 to 10 minutes go by and I finally get called for my vaccine in at this point. I've already been there for at least 30 minutes, 20 minutes after my actual appointment time. It seems like they were waiting to get the vaccine appointments stacked up and ready to go one after another, instead of doing the vaccine per appointment as the person was there. So I waited 30 minutes to get mine, the guy that came in behind me got called up as soon as I walked away - he only had to wait five or 10 minutes to get his right after to me. That is ridiculous. There were so many people behind the counter at the pharmacy, busy doing things, there was no one else waiting other than myself for a long time, and they can only handle one vehicle at a time in the drive-through. I do not understand why it took so long to get my one shot. I even came in with all my paperwork pre filled like their e-mail told me to. I don't know why they couldn't have had it ready to go for me when I showed up... especially if they're asking me to come in before my appointment and I am there. It was an inconvenient waste of my time, and I had to get back to work quickly. That could've been an in and out five minute ordeal. Going to CVS pharmacy from now on. The patient's time is precious.. please don't waste it. read more

This walgreens is awful. They say they are slammed and have a shortage of pharmacists but they have been like this for several years. You wait in line for about an hour regardless if it's inside or in car line. I had a new prescription sent to be filled about 1 month ago. Normally they don't refill my prescription until i'm 2 pills left. They declined a refill for a different prescription when they didn't see the new one sent 1 month ago. They send me a declined notification 1 day before i'm out and then they close over the weekend, unable to reach anyone or my doctor to get clarification. I wasn't out of medication for 4 days. don't bother calling to get answers you are placed on hold for about an hour or get hung up on. I get a notification that my new prescription is ready for pick up, i wait in a 45 minute line to be told that my prescription was never filled and they don't know why i got notifications that my prescription is ready for pickup. This pharmacy is a joke, no one knows what they are doing. I had a consult with the pharmacist since i missed several pills and she seemed pretty ditsy and not in the right mindset for her job and complained that they are slammed and doesn't know what day it is. I get that pharmacies can be overwhelming but it's not a staffing issue. it's an organization issue across all walgreens companies. no one knows what they are doing and creating issues that lead to improper client service. read more

When I asked the pharmacist why a script wasn't filled after my PA was received a week prior his response was "I don't know, probably because I don't have time to check those". Um, excuse me?! I've also been given the wrong meds for my son twice (adult meds that should have been for a small child), they've misplaced meds, they've texted scripts are ready and upon arrival I'm told they aren't ready & don't have control over when customers are texted, I've been asked to loop around twice in the drive thru, and the list goes on. I've complained to the store, to the corporate office, I never hear back. They literally supplied meds that could have killed my son, and I was the one who caught it, not them. I get there is a shortage. People are tired. Over worked. But these mistakes can hurt someone. read more

The pharmacist with short white/grey hair and glasses is a notorious dry person who is unfit to perform her basic duties. if she is in charge, expect your prescription to be put on hold until you come in person and request they fill it. The techs and other pharmacists all seem frustrated by her even more than the line of customers angry because she passive aggressively told us to wait while she belittled us for the simple request to have our prescription filled. I got a prescription from urgent care and had it sent to this Walgreens since it's close to my house. I drove thru at 9am when they opened and was told "I just got the prescription at 8 and we literally just opened so it will be 30 minutes". Came back at 10:30 thinking an hour and a half was plenty of time and was told "it's not ready yet come back in an hour". When I questioned if it was going to be ready in an hour because I was already told 30 minutes an hour and a half ago I was told "do you want to come inside because I don't know what to tell you we're still working on it. What the heck is going on at Walgreens? Pharmacists and techs are quitting in droves (we personally know some) causing "staff shortages" and random pharmacy closures. Can't count on them for any pharmacy services. The other big national chain isn't far behind. Fortunately we get most of our maintenance meds from a mail order/on line pharmacy and only use Walgreens for one time meds. 0/5 stars. Avoid filling your RX here at all costs. Walgreens refuses to fill the most popular brand name medicines on location so you must wait many days and one case weeks to get filled. Worst of all, they modify their hours often and only post on the door so when you arrive they're closed. I couldn't make it their Friday, then tried at 330 Saturday (they randomly closed at 130) and are now closed Sunday so I will go 5 full days without my mandatory daily medication and no other Walgreens will fill it because it's already been filled, sitting at the location. I asked for a refill on my medication last Thursday 3/10 went to pick them up on Friday the pharmacy was closed it was closed again Saturday Sunday without any notice Monday my prescription still had not been filled came back today after speaking with pharmacist line was down all the way to the cosmetic displays stood in line for 30 minutes get up to the counter to wait another 10 minutes to receive and pay for my prescription and the tech there his name is Franklin was so rude it's not called for while I was paying I asked him if he could ring up two things of lotion for me and some Benadryl itch cream he told me because the line was so long he couldn't do it I stood there and watched his fellow tech ring up a woman's pharmacy script and some other items including reading glasses but he can't ring me? I told him the tech on your side just did it why can't you ring me up and then Franklin goes OK I'll ring you up and I told him don't hurt yourself so I had to go back up to the store wait in another line to pay for the other items that weren't medications this is the worst Pharmacy ever the tall guy has something wrong with him he's always angry as soon as I am able I'm transferring out of there I don't need this I shouldn't have to walk in a Walgreens filled with fear and trepidation just to get my medication that my doctor prescribed to me ridiculous. Walgreens will not fill a prescription unless the DR not put your home address and your birthdate in the prescription. I just called my dr and they can't get me in for 3 weeks plus my $40 copay. Refusing to fill a prescription without this information should be a legal case against Walgreens imho. read more

This is THE WORST SERVICE. If I could post with 0 stars I would. Over 20 min before I was helped at the drive thru. That doesn't count the time I waited in line or the time for the 5 cars in line behind me. Every time I come here it is a ridiculous wait whether inside or through the drive-thru. This time I saw 3 different people helped inside as I was waiting at the window to even be greeted. There were 5 employees that I could see working in the pharmacy, one guy was clearly working on a huge stack of orders, one girl helping the inside line and not sure what the other 3 were doing. When the lady finally came to help me she was pleasant and apologized for the wait but a little too late for me. I've got to find a new pharmacy.
