Do not go to Walgreens!!! We dropped off an RX for my husband after a dental procedure on Saturday at 3:00 pm. We kept looking on their website tracking progress and at 7:00 pm it still said "processing". I called the pharmacy and I was informed that they close at 6:00 pm on Saturdays. What this told me is that Walgreens pharmacy has a very POOR customer service. That means that they closed the pharmacy and they didn't even finish processing my husband's medication! Now we are faced with the issue of dental pain all night long until 10 am the next morning because of their UNPROFESSIONAL behavior! I called the manager and she was CLUELESS!!! read more

Their pharmacy is in chaos. They have sent emails and texts saying our prescription is ready and after I stand in line for 15 minutes they tell me it wont be ready until tomorrow and they dont know why I was sent a text. This last time I had to wait 3 additional days to pick up my Rx only to find out from the label on the bottle that it was filled 4 days prior. I have to get Covid tested every week for the nursing program I'm in, Iv been in line at this place in the drive thru for a total of 5 hours, Iv only been able to get tested twice!!! If I could give this pharmacy negative stars I would. I went in about 11am on a Monday morning to pick up a ready prescription, two people in line in front of me (don't know about the drive through) 27 minutes later I get to the counter. There is no excuse for the inefficiency of this staff. The big guy wanders around looking lost, a lady pacing with a cup of coffee, etc. completely no urgency to provide fast paced customer assistance. The whole lethargic pharmacy crew at this location should be replaced with better staff that will work with a sense urgency. If this was a one time experience it would be no problem. But on another visit I was 7th in line, and it took 45plus minutes to get to the window, and the line ended up stretching to the back wall (6ft apart) and down the last aisle. read more

This is the pharmacy I do my business with. Been doing business with Walgreens as a whole for several years for now. I have been doing business with this particular location since I moved out here in June 2011. The weird thing is I thought I already reviewed this place. I reviewed the one in Vegas only not this one because I am a nerd. LOL now that we got that out of the way. Well I can say I have had enough experiences here to write a book but yelp does have a limit . I am going to balance out my rating based on everything. Customer Service- This is as good a place as any to start. Honestly it is hit or miss (mostly miss). They have nice people working there and on the other hand they have some people that need to consider another profession that does not involve working with people at all. I'll break it down. Bad : There are times where they hold prescriptions even though your doctor approves them yet they refuse to provide any explanation and you have to have your doctor call back and make them release it. Being told a RX was ready for pickup then going to pick it up and being told it would not be ready until the following day. When you call to inquire about an RX certain people will get snippy with you just for simply asking a question. Long hold times Does not always fax RX refill requests when asked or re-fax them when the doctor's office requests a re-fax Poor communication with our doctor's office Makes you feel rushed when you call to inquire about status of RX Whenever I go inside to p/u my RX I am ignored. I will stand there and be the only customer in line and there will be 3 people working back there and they will act like they don't see me. (I only go inside when I need to make a purchase). They seem to only care about drive thru customers. ***this is about the day staff*** Good: Both night pharmacists allow you to pickup refills at midnight instead of making you wait until 8am. Great for when we had a flight leaving the next morning at 6am and the day pharmacist told us we could not pick them up until 8am. It's not like we need our medication on our trip or anything. Quick turn around times for filling Rx Richard the pharmacy tech is always polite and willing to help Convenience- Honestly this is the one thing that is keeping me as a customer. the convenience factor here. Because customer service is lacking. Here is how they are convenient: 1. Open 24/7/365 2. Drive thru service 3. User friendly mobile app 4. User friendly web site 5. Multiple locations 6. Easy location to location RX transfers (even on state levels) 7. Accepts a lot of different insurances In summation like I said before the crap customer service really does suck to handle but I have started to arrange to pick up my prescriptions at night so I can deal with the night shift because they are phenomenal. Both pharmacists are laid back and kind and the techs actually know what they are doing. On top of that the convenience factor is too great too ignore. If I find myself having to deal with the day shift I either hope to get someone nice or I just remember the convenience and I get through it. If another pharmacy out there offered all that Walgreens offered with better service I would change in a minute but at least their night shift is their saving grace and I am a night owl anyway. This review is for the pharmacy and is not a reflection on the store it's self as my business here is only pharmacy related. If I could give this pharmacy 0 stars I would. My prescriptions are never ready on time, the wait time in line both in the store and in the drive thru are atronimcal. I usually wait at least 15min to get to the window and it is heard of to wait 30-40 minutes. My dr office has recently submitted a prescription for me, the directions as prescribed by my dr we're not the standard use for the medication however is common use. The pharmacist could not understand the requested use of the medication, it took 3 days and multiple phone calls from my dr office as well as multiple visits by myself and I am still waiting to get my prescription filled. After my last visit I was told my prescription would finally be ready in 30 minutes. I'm not sure what takes so long as the medication comes pre doses and all they do is slap a label on the box it comes in but here I am waiting an hour after my visit and it is still not ready for pick up. Thankfully I didn't sit in the store and wait for it to be filled or I would still be sitting there waiting. I switched from this pharmacy to a new one and my dr accidentally sent my prescription to this specific location. read more

Staff is absolutely the rudest people I've ever spoken to, refused to apply a coupon for no reason aside from personal choice despite me being on a life saving medication that I have to pay out of pocket for (when every other Walgreens takes a coupon without a question for the same medication) and had me on hold for 35 minutes only to hang up on me when they said they would "check to see if it was in stock" I ended up having my prescriptions re-sent to Walgreens in lathrop and they filled it within 45 minutes, with the coupon applied- and let me know that the these people lied, for absolutely no reason about it. This was after they sent me to a completely different Walgreens because my "refills were in stock at that pharmacy " and when I showed up to fill them, there wasn't anything on file there. Absolutely the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with, and I'm never one who would go on Yelp to complain, but I had to share this awful experience. Horrible people. Definitely a nice place to shop the facility looks fairly new or recently renovated. I was able to get most of the things I wanted during my preChristmas visit. I do like the store because they are open 24 hours, the place is kept clean and it feels fairly safe. Of course I may be wrong about how safe the place is; I just know I have never gotten hit up with pesky panhandlers or charity beggers. Anyway the selection is good, not great so don't expect to fill all your needs on one visit. Either the inventory is out of stock or selection is limited. read more

This is strictly a review of the Walgreens store itself, it has nothing to do with the pharmacy. For whatever reason, Walgreen's has a consistent service issue with their pharmacy, and this location poses no exception to issues. Initially, my first impression of a store is of it's cleanliness, organization, and stocked merchandise. All carts where put away and in good, clean working order. This is especially important when I shop frequently with my 3 1/2 year old daughter. This is a drugstore. If the carts are not maintained and kept clean, I cannot trust that my child won't catch some virus that another customer headed to the pharmacy to get medication for. The shelves are stocked well, and you'll frequently pass someone that is stocking shelves. They are friendly, many of them love saying hello to my daughter, and offer any help with finding anything I need. Next, I typically find an issue of empty registers. During slower times, employees are allowed to wander away from the register to work on other projects, so long as the register in within eyeshot. If someone in cosmetics spots me, they immediately offer to ring up my purchase there. If not, I'm spotted way before I reach the register and my items are quickly rung up and bagged. They are always courteous, friendly, and informative. Overall, you don't typically get such great service from a drug store. It's the small mom and pop stores that have fewer items (unfortunately) that have the best service. This store is quite the exception. I drop by 2-3 times per week because it's close to where I live and I can do my shopping in smaller increments, and choose a movie from the RedBox located outside. I'll continue shopping here so long as they continue to stay consistent with all of the above mentioned things! read more

I have been going to the same Walgreens here in Manteca for 15 years and love the store...However their Pharmacy SUCKS!! They are understaffed and extremely slow. When you go in be prepared to wait a minimum of 30 minutes in line. If you're in and out quicker than that, consider yourself very lucky.
