I've been coming to this location for years, but over the last couple of years it has really gone downhill. The parking lot is often filthy, and the customer service isn't great anymore. Most of the employees seem very young and there's a lot of cussing between staff members, which feels unprofessional. Items sometimes ring up at a different price, and many things are out of stock. The aisles are often filled with boxes, which makes it hard to shop. I've started going to the CVS in Lathrop instead. It's sad to see how quickly this place has changed because it used to be one of my favorite places to shop. Don't believe "Your prescription is ready" ! My wife was notified that her prescription was ready on a phone message at 9:30 am yesterday. 24 hrs later at 10:15 am, I was told in the drive through that the prescription was not ready, but but would be ready in 20 - 30 minutes. I parked, went inside, let the pharmacy tech know I was waiting. After 35 minutes, I went to check. The prescription was in the "waiting to be picked up" shelf, but they had not let me know. No apology was offered. I cannot express how much I wish that Walgreens was NOT my wife's insurance preferred provider. Next time, I'll stay parked in the drive through window, so I won't be forgotten. Follow up: Got home. The prescription we needed was short - only 5 of 60 pills. Not that unusual, but I wasn't told at the time. The interesting part is that 3 prescription we did NOT need and supposedly was set only to be refilled on specific request, were filled. Very poor customer service support in person and by phone. They mix-up your pharmacy prescriptions and tell you to arrive on a date and time for no reason. When you get there they tell you a story that are lies. They are disorganized and put a rail plastic between customers and the pharmacy like a bank. You feel blocked out and have to yell across the plastic. They have no eye contact to acknowledge their customers. There are growing lines of people waiting with this type of poor customer service is the worst. I really love coming here because the employees are so helpful! They have an upbeat positive attitude and it makes shopping here a true pleasure. I usually come here for oral care, prescriptions and photos. Whenever I purchase my oral care I use the app coupons on the Walgreens app and I can nevveeerrr get those right. There is an employee named Amanda and she is honestly such an angel! She always helps me and is very patient with me. This was the second Walgreens I went to today to drop off a FedEx package. They advertise that they can take FedEx packages but there are printer is never working. I was sent from one FedEx Walgreens drop off location to another one all the way across town just to get there and have them tell me that they take packages as a courtesy, and that they don't have to do it. In the end wasn't able to get my package processed and wasted an hour of time driving from one to the other. Just to be treated rudely. read more

Worst pharmacy! First encounter since switching insurance, and they somehow weren't able to fill one prescription out of three. It's now over a week since they couldn't fill the prescription, and that prescription was only good for seven days after the procedure. So I was missing a big proportion of my medication to help alleviate my pain. They said they reached out to the doctor's office to get clarification, but doctor's office said they had no message or fax. And worst of all, there is absolutely no way to speak to a live person at the pharmacy!!! Beyond frustrating and irritating. Will be finding another pharmacy. read more

My husband came to pick up his prescription around noon the lady in front "Kyndal" told him to come back in 3 Hr. I went to pick up the prescription from drive through after 5 Hr and they told me it was not even entered and it would take another 30 min, so I went inside stood in long line. The cashier asked the info then she left for 5 min. I thought she went to get the medicine but she came back and started asking about the info one more time because she was looking for someone else. Even after that I had to wait for solid 15 min to finally get the medicine. Such unprofessional environment. Their photo department is the worst! Me, my husband, and myself had our passport photos taken here. Everything was fine and 10 mins after we left, they called to say that I can't smile on the picture and my husband's white shirt is not acceptable and that we have to go back to have it retaken. Why didn't they tell us when they took our picture? Don't they know the guideline? We went back to have our picture taken but it was already getting late and the baby needs to sleep so we weren't able to wait for the pictures. I had an issue with my meds and it took like 45 mins. the worst part is that i called ahead of time and they told me it was ready. The store is not bad, I like everyone I met their since I have been going, except the pharmacist. I went in to the pharmacy after my urgent care visit on a Thursday evening and although the line was not to long they seemed very understaffed. I had a 103 fever and needed my medication so was forced to wait. After getting through the line the first time I learened they were not ready yet which is understandable since urgent care is not to far away. It only took 15 minutes to prepare them, but another 15 minutes of waiting in line also. Once it was my turn again they sell me my prescriptions and have the pharmacist explain them. I have already paid and have waited around 45 minutes, but now is when I actually get mad at the situation. Urgent Care physician did not want me taking Aleve my go to for headaches i n combo with another prescription so he prescribed Ibuprofen. Pharmacist did not get instructions with the Ibuprofen and forced me to return it after all that wait. Took another 5 minutes to return a prescription that I had already paid for because she said I can use Aleve still. I would probably not be as mad if my fever was not so high when I was there. Or maybe I am mad because I feel the pharmacist does not actually want to help ‍I dont know. They said they woulld get instructions from the dr at urgent care then call me. But that was two days ago. So make sure your Dr. crosses his t's and dots his i's because if not it may be your life in the hands of a picky pharmacist. read more

Insufficient help is the problem and poor quality employees. The pharmacy techs should not need to cover breaks at the cash register at the expense of the customer. I have had to wait 2-3 hours two times for prescriptions that were sent over and allegedly 'filled'. When people go on break, they told them I was in the the side waiting room both times. But nobody made it a point to get me. When I got back in line for another 30 minutes, they told me the same thing they had told me a couple hours earlier. "1 prescription is ready and 3 are being filled now" NOW my wife experiences the same thing when picking prescriptions for her grandfather. Walgreens seems to be a problem nationally. You have to watch the sale prices carefully. Things at the cash register don't always have the sale price. Coupons can be a problem, too. I generally wouldn't shop Walgreens except for sale prices and coupons. Their prices are high; however, they're not worse than Rite Aid or CVS. I went into this store looking for a dental guard, as I had broken a tooth. They had a few options, but it seemed that I would either pay around $30 for good stuff or $15 for junk. I ended up somewhere else getting something good for $17 with an instant coupon. read more

I show up and wait in line for 20+ minutes to be told they have no clue where they are, so they reprint them, and try to charge me for the order I already paid for online.
