The lady that was helping me seems annoyed whenever you ask questions. She called for help and the other worker didn't seem that nice too. They were not friendly in general. The is by far the "WORST" "HORRIBLE" Walgreens that I have been to. If there was an option that I'd give this a 0 star I would. Came to pick a medicine and was asked to come back 2X in a day. I asked the estimated time and said 40 mins. I came back the second time and was told to come back the next day. The reason was understaffed, backed up. Came back at 11:30am the following day and I was greeted by this lady in blue scrubs. She then told me to come back and again. I asked when and she said I can't tell you. She answered very rudely and she repeatedly said I don't know. I demanded to talk to the manager. She then hung up and walked away. One gentleman heard me since I was getting very angry and finally helped me out. It literally took 5 mins to get the prescription. I just don't understand why the manager has not done anything to fix their service given all the bad reviews. If the manager sees this review. I would suggest to provide coaching on one of your pharmacy staff on providing better customer service. Maybe you can start off by looking into your staff working around 11:30am Sept 27. You'll be able to identify who that staff member is in the pharmacy during that shift. To the manager. You probably need some coaching as well as your staff is a clear reflection on how you lead. I deal with the pharmacy at Walgreens and I have found my pharmacist be very knowledgeable and helpful with medication's. He's also courteous at all times his customers and goes out his way to see that they understand his instructions. If I could give it 0 stars I would. I usually have my vaccines given at the Target pharmacy , but came to Walgreens because CVS in Target didn't have it on hand. Checked in at 345pm and at 440pm still was not called. They were times where there were no customers in line at all so it's all employee work ethic. If the Pharmacist at Target can multitask giving vaccines AND doing consultation with busy lines, so should a Walgreens pharmacist smh. No excuses. Never again. read more

If you have a Fedex return, DO NOT waste your time coming here. Opt for a different return approach or just keep the item! Tried to make what should have been a simple return into the biggest hassle 3 different times! The first time, my husband brought the package in she said something was down. The second time she said she doesn't print anything. I brought it in for a 3rd time and she said they do not accept the QR return code even though it clearly states on the Fedex Walgreens Lathrop website does. If I could give a negative I would gladly give this store that! The 'apparent leads on the floor' on Sunday May 5th between 1-4 pm were sooo rude at the photo area. We had some issues with paper quality and this was the fourth Walgreens we came to. The two ladies were sooo rude, barely let us talk and threatened to call cops and asked us to leave! I'll give the TL;DR first: small, overwhelmed pharmacy and hostile/ vindictive staff ruin this location's efficacy. I've finally decided to switch pharmacies after three months of being strung along for a medication prescribed to me that continuously required me to call the pharmacy and be on hold for at least 10 minutes each time (some hold times lasting so long the line would simply hang up on me) just to be given a random explanation as to why they didn't have my medication, which would require me to follow up with other sources that would inform me they actually had responded to the pharmacy, which would in turn require me to call Walgreens again, be on hold (again), and then be given an entirely different reason or be told they'd fill it. Which would have me calling in several days later after realizing I hadn't gotten a notification the prescription had been filled, just to go through the same exact process all over again. I finally reached the end of my rope when I got the same run around for my pet's prescription, one that they would quite literally die without. The kicker now; my new pharmacy couldn't fill the prescription I'd waited two months for because Walgreens said they filled it, after telling me that very day that they had ordered it, but because of demand, it just wasn't being delivered to them. While I was somewhat used to the practice--being told they didn't have a medication, just to get the notification later that it had been filled. Up until that point, it had just been an irritating inconvenience. This was a deliberate act to deprive me of medication I desperately needed, while knowing I have no avenue of recourse on my end. PLUS I've now spent an additional month trying to get Walgreens to send my prescriptions to my new pharmacy, which has again required additional calls, and and even more time spent on hold. Finally, I get told today that they won't send over any of my prescriptions to the new pharmacy because one is a controlled substance. This forces me to call my doctor and have a message rushed to them, before closing on a Friday, hoping they can send new prescriptions over to my new pharmacy, as I've now nearly run out of all of my medications thanks to the mess that has culminated from a bitter and vindictive pharmacy staff. My doctor sends my prescriptions to the Walgreens in error, however. And I get a call just before 8:00 PM from an aggressively defensive pharmacist that pointedly asks me why I'm switching pharmacies, "we not doing good enough for you?" That I politely decide to inform him the new pharmacy is closer to my home (it actually is) instead of how the pharmacy he's calling from has denied me medications that are necessary to my life and mental health and to my pet's life, and he's actually lucky that there aren't deaths Walgreens could be getting sued over, and as a positive, his workload has now been reduced. And I get the flippant reply, "oh, yeah, they all say that." Treatment like that is another reason I'm switching pharmacies. I'll also be rethinking my policy of being polite instead of telling people the entire truth just so they don't have to feel like garbage. read more

If you are having surgery at San Joaquin General, do NOT send your discharge prescriptions here. Story time: My wife's docs sent her antibiotics, and pain management meds here around 2/2:30. They sat on it all day, and after multiple calls and discussions, we were told tohunt down her doctor to send it somewhere else because they close at 6:30 and even though they had had the prescription since 2:30, it was unable to be filled. The lovely young lady on the phone added a heavy dose of attitude and zero empathy to top it all off. Thankfully, my wife's discharge nurse was kind enough to send it to a 24 hour CVS in Stockton. Here's the kicker: They were unable to fill it because this Walgreens said they filled the prescription. Ha! I was there at 6:30 aka closing time when the "lovely" girl told me oh well send it somewhere else. Only way I could have gotten her meds, would have been to have paid cash...hundreds of dollars. If it were filled, my wife would have her CRUCIAL antibiotics and pain medication and I wouldn't have been on a wild goose chase. Now she must forego her antibiotics her nurses were adamant she take, and in pain after general anesthesia and serious facial surgery for almost 24 hours. The lack of communication, misinformation, and disregard for patient care is appalling. If you don't like your job, find another one. I NEVER take the time to write reviews but this one was necessary. Skip the bullshit and send it to a reliable pharmacy. This is not that. read more

Terrible experience - if only i could give 0 stars. I found a mascara for $15 with a redeemable coupon for $6 off, if I texted their number. I did so. Got in line, pulled up the link I was instructed to use to redeem the coupon. It froze forever. There were 6 people in line behind me, the cashier wanted me out, she said she saw the coupon, I paid and left. THEY NEVER APPLIED THE COUPON. I was charged $15.99, which I never would've paid for this mascara. I called Walgreens General line, and was told to call the store. They won't refund my money, even though I can provide the receipt. Eat a bag of Oscar Mayers, Walgreens. Especially Johanna, who I spoke to from the store, for helping me with EXACTLY NOTHING. If money wasn't so tight, I might've just let it go. But the lack of customer service, in conjunction with the emptiness of the store and extremely long line, along with a cashier who knowingly screwed me over, AND unjustifiably expensive prices = you just lost yet another customer. Keep treating your customers like peasants, you can go the same way out as Toys'RUs and Blockbusters. You guys SUCK. If your thinking of using the pharmacy at this Walgreens think again. They are so slow if you have a prescription sent in the am don't think they will have it ready in the afternoon. They take up to 2 days so if you need your meds don't come here. The people are super rude probably because they don't have enough staff not sure. read more

I desperately needed some important photocopies last minute. Googled photo copies near me and saw on their website that they do photocopies. When I got to store they told me now they do not do them, very frustrating. Also had troubles at this location dropping of packages for shipment. This Walgreen's does not follow the hours of other locations. They are endangering peoples lives ! You can't get your medications refilled on time, and pick them up after work. My friend has CRiTICAL health issues, that require medications to be taken without stopping. When the refills are ordered, they have taken MORE than 2 weeks to refill them ! You can be DEAD, without your medicine for that long! The Dr is furious with the disregard for customers health concerns. This store needs a complete re-education in customer care, and additional pharmacy help, and additional drive-thru hours of operation. FYI- If you get Covid testing done, go to several places, then use whichever one comes back 1st. I tested at Walgreens in Lathrop on June16th. they said 1-5 business days for the results. Sooo I have been waiting for a e-mail. I just called them they've had the results since the 19TH!!! And never sent me the e-mail!!!! They resent it while I was on the phone & I got it within seconds! This test is useless to me now. What a waste of time! St. Joe's requires a test within 72 hrs from the collection time & they will go down to the minute. Not anymore. I would not give one star but I have to in order for this to post. They basically can not keep their pharmacy functioning at a standard level for any Walgreens. It has been months of bad hours-closing early, closing the entire work day ,no weekends, nothing after 6pm, not filling Dr requests when sent directly from providers, don't ever expect your script to be ready even after personally calling it in days before. Every time you go the line would be a dozen people because the pharmacy was so jacked up & never open when it should have been! Just not worth the struggle. I see all these reviews about pharmacy being rude and inconsiderate and Walgreens responding that they have filed a complaint and will look into it... my question is... what are you doing about it? Because nothing has changed and they are still rude, they hang up on you multiple times; they keep transferring you back and forth... until they hang up on you again. When you finally get someone that picks up - they clearly sound annoyed and can't wait to hang up on you ... prescriptions are like never ready! My question is ... why are you working? Don't work if you hate the job ... trust me - people that need these meds- the last thing they want to do is deal with your attitudes - so either be professional or leave the job and let someone come in that actually likes what they do and want to help people. This Walgreens pharmacy is one of the worst I have ever been too. You can count on a 20-30 minute wait even if there is only one or two people ahead of you( in store) . The non pharmacy lines to check out after around 3 pm are usually all the way down to photo and they usually let the line get that long before they open a second register. This particular Walgreens is one I dread going to which sucks because its the closest convenience store. Every time I walk in, I'm never greeted. I always see two lengthy lines of unhappy shoppers because the cashiers are taking too long. Every time I bring my items towards the front to pay, I always feel like I have to look for a cashier to ring me up. It's annoying.
