First time coming here for a prescription and already a bad experience. Apparently they shut down the pharmacy from 1:30 to 2 PM so the pharmacist can have a lunch break. That should be listed in the hours! I had a very limited break in my day today to come pick up a prescription and this is what happens. Horrible Customer Service! Very selfish. You guys should hire more than one pharmacist so they can take turns eating. read more

Thank goodness for a Walgreens close by my sister's place, while visiting and staying at Frisco. We had to get our Covid Testing done 72 hours prior to traveling back home to Hawaii, so I set up 24 hour rapid testing for me, my mom & sister on-line. Sceduling test was easy, unlike my last travel experience with Walgreens at another state. I received the confirmation email right away and even a reminder email. On the day of testing, done via drive thru only & we had different times, ( within 30 minutes apart ) the pharmacy technician was nice to let us get our testing done back to back, instead of waiting for the testing times. It was a quick and easy test. My sister got her results within 30 minutes, except for me and my mom's. I was getting worried and called Walgreens, luckily I was able to get thru and worker was helpful. I called twice after since I didn't receive my results yet. My mom's went thru but my results was still pending. Glad there was still time before my flight, after the 3rd phone call, I finally received the email with results in PDF. I wonder what happen?! Despite the wait for PDF, I am grateful for this Walgreens and being able to set up our Covid testing for our flight back home, everything went smoothly. During my sister and mom's testing, I walked in to Walgreens to shop really quick, as we had other errands to do. I like this Walgreens, all Walgreens are different. I must admit I shop at Walgreens so often I can tell some of the different products that each Walgreens had. I wanted to purchase some supplies for my sister's place and also needed toothpaste and lotion. I love the different theme of dollar selection that this Walgreens has ( see pics) such a deal! Walgreens Oahu does not have this. Nice clean store! This location has a communication problem. After reviewing the website for in-stock Lysol (limit 1), I went to store to only find another customer walking around the store with 3 cans of Lysol, and yes, they were the only 3 cans left in the store. When I brought it to the associates' attention, they gave me mixed messages from "yes" there is a limit to "no" all limits were lifted. Why would the website give misinformation to customers only to get to the store and see that policy is not being enforced, especially on items that are in high demand like Lysol. read more

Staff in the pharmacy is the most ineffective, inefficient group I have ever had the misfortune to come across. Leaving for a 2 week vacation and had requested all refills addressed and confirmed with doctors office while onsite. Go to pickup and are told we can't refill because you are 2 days early. Never mind that the doctor had confirmed approval with the pharmacy manager. Not the argument I want to be having on evening prior to departure. I'm updating this to 1 star and I'd give it minus stars if I could. This blonde bitch in the drive thru wasn't speaking clearly so we asked her to speak up. She became very rude and condescending. I came to this pharmacy after leaving my doctor's office. My doctor called in 3 prescriptions for me. When I got to the pharmacy, there was one person ahead of me. There were 4 pharmacy staff consisting of a pharmacist and 3 others (employees #1, 2, and 3). Employee #1 was engaged in a lengthy discussion of the cost of the medication of the person in front of me. Employee #2 was helping customers in the drive through. Employee #3 was filling prescriptions, and the pharmacist was filling prescriptions. I stood in line for 15 minutes while employee #2 helped 3 customers in the drive through who weren't even there when I got there. Those customers had no wait time just for having gone through the drive through instead of going into the store and standing in line. Once all of the drive through customers were gone, employee #2 started shuffling prescriptions around instead of helping the next customer in line (me). After a few more minutes of waiting, I walked up to the counter and asked the pharmacist if someone can help me. At this time, there were 2 other customers behind me. The pharmacist asked employee #2 to help me. Employee #2 then went to the open cash register and informed me that there was no record of any medications being called in for me. I gave him a paper copy of the prescriptions and he told me to come back in 1 hour. Then employee #1, who finally finished his 30-minute-long discussion with the customer who was ahead of me, closed his register and went to help someone who had just appeared in the drive through. Someone who had not been waiting more than 30 seconds, while there was 1 customer behind me who was waiting for 30 minutes and another customer who was waiting for 10 minutes. I'm not sure if the employees are aware, but people come to this pharmacy because they are sick or are in pain and need to get their medicine. They DO NOT come to stand in line for 30+ minutes while the stupidest and slowest pharmacy employees that I've ever seen do their utmost to ignore the customers who have been waiting in line for so long. read more

Manager Dian sucks and she couldnt even help me and register guy was worse and when I asked to PriceMatch an item, they both just said no we dont match our website. I called Walgreens support and they said they do as long as it isnt on sale which my item wasnt. So Walgreens support asked me if I wanted to put in a complaint and I did... I have mixed feelings about this place. Pharmacy staff have always been nice, but they're pretty slow. I also requested the pharmcists fax a prescription request to my doctor (which my dr requests that way). I had to call back to check on it, and the pharmacist told me the dr denied the prescription refill. I called my dr to ask why, and she said Walgreens was wrong. The dr put a note for them to ask me a question, first. I was extremely annoyed Walgreens tried to short cut their responsibilities by not telling me this and instead just said the prescription was denied. I do like there's a FedEx drop off box outside the building. I create a lot of FedEx shipments at home for work, and this is really convenient for use 24/7. read more

The worst pharmacy experience I have ever been through in my life!!! Absolutely horrible customer service they don't care about there customers!! Very rude and lazy it's a complete s*** show!!! Wait in line for literally hours and it doesn't matter if you go inside the store or in drive thru!! And you still don't even get help!!! I called to check on the status of my order & was on hold for literally a hour and 45 mins and nobody came to the phone one time!!! That is just some key points to my experience !! Still there when I need them Walgreens.. I received stellar customer service and even some good tips on local lakes. Now this is what i'm talking about. Real local friendly customer service. The prices were competitive and there was staff on the floor! Let me rephrase that. There was helpful staff on the floor working and they actually took the time to look up and ask if there was anything I needed help finding. Instead of just pointing to an item, the employee actually asked me how my day was and on top of that. Didn't just walk away afterwords and asked again if there was anything else he could help me with. I received real customer service today and found what I was looking for. I would never recommend going to this Walgreens. Most of the employees are terrible. They are lazy, slow and flat out rude. They are constantly out of stock of items. They are rarely open at 7am like they state they are. My tipping point came the other day when I pulled up at 7:15am and the door was cracked halfway open but the motor wasnt engaged. I walked in and started shopping, proceeded to the counter and was approached by an employee who accused me of breaking in the store and that they werent open. I said its 7:15 and your door was already open halfway and his response was "Oh, I guess it is 7." Needless to say, I would not go to this store. read more

I got to walgreens off 423 and Eldorado at about 945 pm (15 min till close )after leaving care now with an ear infection and 3 prescriptions. I pulled up to the window afraid I was too late and would not be helped. I told the pharmacist please don't make me go to cvs. (It's the worst cvs pharmacy in all of history) I was wrong about my fears of not being given helped. The pharmacist said she'd be back and within 10 minutes she filled all 3 for me. She turned my whole day around. My husband just went to Walgreens on Eldorado to pick up his blood pressure medicine, he is totally out and has not taken his meds today. The doc denied the refill as he wants my husband to go see him so my husband asked if he could emergency tablet and he will call the doc tomorrow and sort it out. THE PHARMACIST SAID NO, I guess he is ok with putting a life in danger then helping. He needs to be fired. When someone plays with your life there is no excuse. Every pharmacy will give you an emergency pill if it is after hours. ALSO WHY DIDN'T SOMEONE FROM THE PHARMACY CALL WHEN IT WAS DENIED BY THE DOC. read more

Every time I go in to this specific Walgreens there is a cashier that really engages me in discussion. I spend a decent amount of time talking to him. Sometimes it is hard to stop talking to him but I appreciate someone actually wanting to hold an in person conversation. read more

Manager lies about coupon policy and ruins my planned transactions. This has happened way too often with Walgreens in general and it is the corporate culture of Walgreens to be rude to people with coupons and in general make their lives difficult. Don't know how he could simply say I cannot use a coupon for an item I bought. The coupon is an agreement between the manufacturer and the customer, the store has no right to refuse a coupon if it is within their coupon policy. In general just sick of the BS with Walgreens and will stop shopping there because the deals are not worth it if you are treated poorly every time you walk in the store. read more

I use this pharmacy all the time. It is convienent and I have never had a problem with getting prescriptions at least on their end. I have had a long wait time due to insurance being slow and sometimes the doctors do not call in as fast as I think they should. That can be the most nerve wracking. I think that is what probably happened to most of the people who gave bad reviews. The worst time to go to any pharmacy is after work between 5:00 & 7:00 pm. Most of the time I go during the earlier part of the day so it is not so busy. I have always had friendly service. When I have gone in to find something I have not had problems there either. In fact the last time I was in the store I couldn't find the item I was looking for and an employee helped me find it and was very nice. I think most of the reviews who gave 2 stars or less were probably not feeling good to begin with and were already grumpy from the start. read more

Horrible service! I came in with prescriptions, with one of them needing to be ordered because it isn't in stock, so the lady said it would be here in two days. Eight days later I call the office to see if my prescription had been filled, only to find out all along they cannot order this, the guy on the phone could care less about my situation, and said that it might be in Garland! Went in the place an the guy couldn't even face me like a man. I get a "I'm so sorry" get outta here they didn't care and want me to drive 45 mins for something that might be there, stay clear of this place, the looks and explanation I got was pathetic, this place was pathetic. So no one was going to call me to let me know they couldn't fill my prescriptions, what a joke, I guess they don't realize people have jobs and lives and stuff. However, I went inside to see if they have this prescription and the nice lady at the pharmacy counter just asked me if i wanted generic and i said that's fine and I asked her how long the wait was and she was like 20 minutes. Worst Walgreen's ever. after one hour customizing my pictures the manager with the gold teeth comes in and tells me these pictures looks like they are professionally done do you have rights to reprint them. I answered yes and I explained to them that I was in vacation in mexico and i had these photos professionally taken and i was given a CD with all the pictures to reprint as I wish. He asked me do I have any thing in writing?. and he refused to give me the reprints for the pictures. Very unprofessional staff and management do not waste your time there try CVS may be they have competent staff. read more
