Nothing has changed with this pharmacy, they still do not care about patients of doctors or even customer satisfaction. DO NOT try to fill any important medications at this location they can't keep nothing in stock, takes for ever for them to answer the phone and one person DOES NOT know what the other is doing they just want to give you a bs answer and get you off the phone. I tried to fill a script on Friday they said it would be ready that night waited until Saturday called about it they said the pharmacist was reviewing and will be done that afternoon waited that afternoon nothing called Sunday morning they said it would be done by 2pm. 2pm comes around call them because haven't had any notifications they stated no you can't fill it because your 1 day early still I explained I needed the medication because I was leaving town because of a family situation and where I am going is 3 hrs away and they have no pharmacy no nothing the lady on the phone says oh well i guess you will have to drive back to get your stuff in a day because we don't fill nothing before 30 days and hangs up. This is the rudest, not caring, pharmacy you could be having the worst emergency in the world and they will just tell you come back tomorrow if your still around and we might care about how you feel and we might help you but it has to suit our time and that's if we can make money off you too. read more

Generally I would give a 5 star rating, but this particular Walgreens has lost its way. From what I've seen and experienced, they are very disorganized. Always having problems with their computer systems or refilling medications, and lack of communication between employees have led to confusion and frustration. Customer service is adequate, but several times they have lost a handwritten prescription I immediately submitted to them, ultimately resulting in them losing my prescription and refusing to work with me to get it resolved. I had hoped that over the months, these factors would improve, but in the meantime I will be transferring my medications to another pharmacy. This place is dirty! Or maybe it's the perception. I stop here off and on for a couple of small things, but that's about it. Sometimes there's riff raff that hangs out in front of it. It meets the drug store needs close to home but I'd much rather not shop here. The cashiers are super nice though. If you're buying alcohol, almost 90% of the time there's an underage person working the register that has to call a manager to ring you up and sometimes that takes forever, depending on if the store is busy or not. In a pinch, in and out shopping here for me, and that's it. read more

First the wait online in the store at the pharmacy is ridiculous. There was a person at the drive through window who could have taken care of me since there were no cars but just stood there. The person who should have taken me next said she had to give some flu shots first. Then when I finally got to hand in the prescription I was told they didn't have enough of what was prescribed to fill it and I should check back the next day to see if they get it. I asked if they would call another Walgreens about 2miles away and check if they had it. They gave me a hard time an said it was against their policy to do so. I am a cancer patient and this medicine was prescribed by my oncologist. I recently had a breast cancer surgery and do not have the energy to run around to different stores. Wish I didn't have to use Walgreens for my meds but that is what my insurance says. Walgreens customer service is awful and the pharmacists lack compassion. Walgreens can be like Starbucks. If you don't like the one closest to you there's another one right up the road. That being said this location is not far from several parks and trails so if your first aid kit didn't quite do the trick if you got hurt on the trail or playing soccer in the park, you can get what you need to fix yourself up fast. Access: From Boulder Highway going Northbound make sure you turn Left at the Russell light and then into the parking lot, otherwise it's a hassle to make a U turn as crossovers are not spaced the best on Boulder Highway. If you need a 24 hour location just head South or North on Boulder Highway to find one. 3 Stars: Friendly pharmacists, usually no checkout lines either. read more

If i can give it 0 stars i would. do not shop here EVER!!! there is always some homeless patrolling the store and parking lot begging for money. staff has gone so downhill. i went to pick up my photos and i asked tge manager Sheri if she can call someone over. her reply was " i will be right there" She then walked straight outside and lit a cigarette. I would give them 0 stars if i could, they always leave you waiting for long periods of time, they never call back the same day for a prescription that is done in a matter of minutes it's always such a hard time getting anything right at that place. The one time they called me they called me right before closing time and had me hurry to get there just so I could get there and them tell me they can no longer give me anything because they are closed !!!!!!! It's unbelievable how terrible the staff is there to sit there and have me drive and then deny me my antibiotics!! No communication with the caller and the rest of the staff it's just unreal !! I was extremely upset because now I have to work the next day and have to wait until 5 pm when I'm off to start on my antibiotics!!! Terrible place something needs to change !! This is one of the worst pharmacies. The pharmacist is incredibly rude and does not care about patient satisfaction at all. She seems more about liability and covering her own ass than patient safety. Haven't seen one patient leave even remotely happy. Don't even bother making an appointment they are useless (the pharmacist even admitted that they have no control over the appointments and it doesn't really mean anything in terms of timing). Feel kinda bad for the other pharmacy staff as it's not their fault they are understaffed and constantly waiting on a pharmacist who has her own timeline, they have to deal with a lot of angry patients for her. I've never had an easy experience here and after this last time of them telling me over the phone that my RX would be ready at 11, showing up at 11:30 and being told that my medication is out of stock and won't be in stock for at least a week, I have learned my lesson and switched pharmacies. Overall, save yourself the trouble and frustration and pick a different pharmacy. read more

There are so many Walgreen's around the town why to go to A place that is located in a let's say not pleasant neighborhood And you need to be lucky to deal with a knowledgeable pharmacy technician So Sayonara Walgreen at the corner of Boulder Hwy and Flamingo I am moving my account to a better neighborhood with nicer intelligent pharmacy assistants. There is no one good reason to visit this place unless you a guest in the hotel nearby with no car. The only reason that I used them for the past 5 month is that they were opened 24 hours. Just moved to the area. Wanted to change my pharmacist. Gave them my prescription card and my insurance and said it was inactive since 2012. Call the 1-800 number and there's no expiration date when inside and then she says we don't look up this pin number and it shows that it is deactive. Called agian to my Insurance company and said everything is good. The customer service lady says we'll take care of that when I went to go check out it was full price without my insurance. So just give me the slipped back I'm going to go to my old pharmacist. She had an attitude and threw a fit. And which model pharmacist gave my insurance card work just fine. Ok wth is wrong with this pharmacy. Every time I go there is always an issue. This time last straw. I go thru the drive thru for pick up my script. No one is there. Great I think. This won't take long. 2 cashiers that's even better. They finish with one think ok I'm next. NOpe. They leave to go to the back. Someone else comes out finishes up with the 2nd person and takes the next person who came in after me. Now I'm fuming I bang on the window. They tell me we'll be right with you. Really I was here before him. So then someone comes out to help me. No apology no nothin gets my info gives me my meds. This mind you has now taken about 20 minutes. It doesn't matter what time you go to this pharmacy whether you go in or out they pick and choose who is next. Last time I was there to pick up refills they tell me oh one of your meds we don't have. I am really angry today and I am posting to ask everyone to share this post and to boycott Walgreen's Pharmacy. I went to pick up an Rx yesterday that I have had filled at Walgreens for the 9 months I have lived in LV. They raised the price of my Rx from $67 to $195 - they no longer supported this medication on my Rx card - no advance notice, no warning, just a big bill when I showed up to pick it up. WALGREENS IS TRYING TO SCREW OVER PEOPLE ON FIXED INCOMES AND I URGE YOU TO LET THEM KNOW THAT YOU WILL NOT SUPPORT THEIR POLICIES OF CHEATING SENIORS. What I should have done was gone to another pharmacy and had the Rx transferred, but this medication is in short supply in the Valley and I was completely out as of yesterday morning, so I paid it. Today now I have done my online research and I can use coupons and get this Rx for $36.72 at WALGREENS - I am mad as hell. When I argued with them yesterday - all I got was a response "this is a corporate decision and you have to take it up with them." I am going to move all of my Rx's, including the two that are left there which I have found for significantly less than Walgreens will charge me even if I don't show up with coupons and even less than if I show up with coupons. We went this morning in photo section request for passport size photo picture. The staff on duty that time a lady name Crystal not anticipate our needs and not like really interested what we need. She just pointed us in the computer, I think she is just heard "PICTURE" !!! She is rude and she is like not in the mood at that time because maybe she don't have yet breakfast or a cup of coffee that's why she look like she's not at work or she doesn't care her customers...
