I felt very safe at this Walgreens location. There was a security guard at the door and he was monitoring and turning around unstable individuals and preventing theft. Everything was extremely clean, and though prices were slightly elevated compared to back home, it was extremely reasonable compared to Venetian & Grand Canal shops. Always convenient to have a store near the hotel This location is located at the front of the Venetian so it's walkable from both Palazzo and Venetian. I come to Vegas pretty often so I'm familiar with prices, different stores nearby and outside the strip. I came this time on my motorcycle so I didn't bring any of my usual supplies (Water, Protein powder/shake, energy drink/preworkout, snacks and other drinks). Obviously I wasn't going to buy it inside the hotel (Venetian), and instead took a 2 minute walk outside to this Walgreens. I think I've been here once before but normally I stay at MGM resorts so I usually go to the CVS near instead. I got to say, this Walgreens was very clean and organized compared to some other Walgreens I've been to. I was also pleasantly surprised that a lot of their goods are well priced or maybe even cheaper than some grocery stores. I don't remember the prices, but everything felt like a decent deal; maybe except for the protein shake but I think it was because of the brand I got. Alcohol was also well priced. I didn't get any though, but if I ever needed to and didn't bring any with me, this is definitely a good choice. The cashier I encountered was very nice and we made some small talk. She seemed friendly and in good spirits. Usually at these 24 hour convenience stores, most come off as tired and/or bitter so this was a nice change. It was spacious inside and even with a decent amount of patrons, I didn't really wait long or struggle to get what I came to buy. I wish I remembered the prices but the only thing I really remember with a level of confidence was the various energy drinks. I got the small Reign can and a Celsius and they were $2 something; which is usually the average unless if they're on sale. And I did see something on sale I think 2 for 4 or 2 for 3.50 but it wasn't a brand I liked. So hopefully that gives an idea of their pricing. read more

I appreciate the proximity to my hotel (The Palazzo) but some of the rates here are outrageous. I arrived very last to my hotel and needed a few items. While I was here I decided I didn't feel like bargain hunting for liquor and just got everything here, but now I regret it. Disarrano is a favorite of mine and a smooth drink for the morning, but $46 bucks! Baileys I enjoy with my morning coffee but a small bottle was $31. The wine was $14 or so, also. Like I said I appreciate the proximity, but just wish the prices were a little more comparable. I live in NY and pharmacies do not sell liquor, only beer. So it's refreshing to be able to pick up liquor in the same location as your Tylenol and disinfectant wipes, but not at some of these surge prices. The girls in front of me on the line were beyond drunk, so that gave me some entertainment. Nonetheless, I'd recommend because they have a little of everything here, but buyer beware with the pricing. read more

The Palazzo & Venetian Walgreens.     Outside the faux Venice of Vegas, the corner of Happy and Healthy is the corner of the Palazzo and Venetian where one the busiest Walgreens fronts the Las Vegas Strip. It serves the Walgreens motto "the corner of Happy and Healthy" well by supplying visitors and workers of the Las Vegas Strip with the essentials they need to be happy and healthy. This brightly lit baby department store features a pharmacy and medical clinic. It's shelves sell a sundry of essentials including health & beauty aids, phone chargers, reading glasses, dry groceries, souvenirs, stationary, beverages, alcohol, and numerous items you'd expect from a baby department store. Until the Showcase Target opens, this is the closest thing to a supermarket on the Las Vegas Strip.     The Palazzo & Venetian Walgreens is one of the five locations on the Las Vegas Strip. It is a Walgreens that I have been to several times over the years. Due to the "Slow Down Tiger" message Yelp sometimes gives me on the Strip, my visits here exceed my check-ins. Being in the heart of the Entertainment Capital of the World it is a 24 hour Walgreens (might have reduced hours during the Covid-19 pandemic) Supposedly at times this has been the busiest Walgreens in the chain. From my visits here I can believe it when I see how crowded it gets. What I will say is that management does a top-notch job managing the store. I have been impressed by how fast they keep the single cue line moving.    From my perspective the heart of the store is not the pharmacy or medical clinic. It is further down the wall where I pick up my over the counter medicine that relaxes me. That medicine comes in the form of  a 24 ounce can. The name of it is "beer." The beer cave is loaded with chilled beer. Whether I am walking the Las Vegas Strip or want to chill out in a nearby hotel room the bullet beer hits the spot. This Walgreens stands out from the nearby Walgreens between the Venetian and Harrah's, owing to the fact that they sell 24 ounce Bud Ice. It sells for the very reasonable price of $2.48. When you take into consideration that the same adult beverage sells for $1.75 in Walmart, it's a fantastic deal for the Strip. If beer is not your thing they also sell wine and liquor.    As far as beverages, they are more than alcohol. I often park at the Palazzo. There have been several times when I stopped here to pick up a 20 ounce soda for the drive home. And there have been other times where I picked up bottled water from here.    Walgreens also sells Las Vegas Strip souvenirs at solid prices.  Even though I live in Vegas, there have been purchases of Las Vegas Strip calendars and a mouse pad from a Las Vegas Strip Walgreens.   What has changed in the Venice of Vegas Walgreens is that it has decluttered greatly. I do not think it is a change for the better. What Walgreens decluttered were island coolers of ready made and fresh foods. I thought that this lively presentation of food was a better first impression than the open space of white tile floors. Regardless that doesn't affect my rating.   The Palazzo & Venetian Walgreens along with the other four on the Las Vegas Strip are currently the closest thing to a supermarket on this World Famous Boulevard. I foresee a return visit to the corner of Happy and Healthy at the corner of the Palazzo and Venetian in the future. read more

This Walgreens is attached to The Venetian, and we weren't even staying there, but we just walked right into it, so we bought what we needed here. This is much nicer than your regular neighborhood Walgreens. It's more like a Target, but not quite that big. If you don't already know, Vegas can sell liquor 24 hours a day, and they can sell it in a grocery store. It's not like that in my state, so I was really excited to find that out. It is definitely a better place to get liquor or beer, or even bottled water. The liquor prices were higher than where I live though. I'm not sure if it's mark up on the strip, or just generally more expensive in Nevada. Either way, it's super convenient. They even had fruit here, and we got a few bananas. Stop here for anything you'd get at a grocery store. They probably have something that will work. read more

If not for my kids feeling like they were dying, I wouldn't have come in. The line is 40 people long, only 3 registers open. Worse Walgreens Ever! They have a long line they are crowded... we waited 15 minutes for no one to come to unlock the lotion so we can buy lotion. So we just decided to get the items we absolutely needed. We stood in line.. when the register became open we walked to it the lady was. He king is out.... Then some people maybe her friends came directly up to her register bypassed the line and stood right next to us. I had to ask them to move over a bit because they are too close to my personal transaction. We were not even done paying when she started grabbing their items. You notice the picture none of that stuff in front of her is ours it's the other people.... We hadn't even paid yet! You can't take care of the next people until you are done with the current transaction.... Yep, we got water here. This Walgreens is conveniently located between several hotel-casinos, including Treasure Island, Venetian, the Wynn, or the MGM Mirage. It's stocked as well as any Walgreens in a suburban area, and just as spacious. We stocked up on H2O, orange juice, and cranberry juice. (Uh, call us fruit juice enthusiasts.) This is by far THE best Walgreens that I've ever visited! They literally have everything here, well not everything, but real close to everything! Any need, especially when traveling in the sun city you can easily find it and it's super organized. It's almost like a mini Walmart with a liquor store minus the vegetables. You can even find sushi here! Every isle was very meticulously clean. All products and items on the shelves straightened and numbers and prices professionally displayed. It's hard to believe they're actually very busy with how straight things are. The employees treated us extremely nice and knew the aisles to the items that I needed. I came in for some Pedialyte and the gentleman asked, "do you want it cold or room temperature?" Pedialyte is available on ice, go figure! Another thing I enjoyed about this store were the Walgreen brand items sold in little baskets in the front. Everything is 2 for $5 so if you've forgotten any toiletries purchase them here! Walgreens at the Venetian Hotel. This is my absolute favorite Walgreens in the whole wide world! WHY? you may ask... because they have WHITE CHERRY ICEE!!! They hardly sell that flavor anywhere unless you're at a movie theater or theme park and here they sell if or cheap! About $2!!! There is never a wait of more than a minute or two. A huge grocery section- perfect for picking up a snack or breakfast or water rather than paying the high hotel prices. Want a souvenir? Mixed feelings on this. Pros -open 24 hours -sells alcohol 24 hours ( yey!) -close to The Wynn where I was staying -has everything from calling cards, snacks, souveneirs, cosmetics, pharmacy needs. Cons -The Prices! OMG they were higher then here in Canada! I normally love to shop at American drug stores - not this one just got a few things -Long Lineups on cash -Calling Card was a burn. 3 hours for 10$. I got a different one across the street 26 hours for $10 I really was disappointed. I had high hopes for 24 hour drugstore shopping fun. The highlight of my 3 trips to this store was coming home from Tao at 4 am and buying some Baileys Irish Cream. Cheers to that, but not much else. read more
