I'm back to hove a few top-notch cocktails and my biannual cigar. Sun-Thu they have 50% off ALL…read morespecialty drinks from 7-9. In addition, if you buy any cigar, you get a free shot of McAllan 12 Year scotch (that's like $20 on the Strip) but only on Thursdays. They've been doing this for years. The staff is always good so you can't go wrong with anyone. Anyhow, I'm going to start it out with a Fiji Water and some ice. It's 99 degrees out. Thank God for the must blowers! I'm decked out in Robert Graham branded clothes. Their customers are known for whiskey/bourbon drinking and cigar smoking. I don't smoke much but I like my whisky or bourbon drinks. What's nice is a met up with an old friend from CT here. For my first drink, I'm having a Nuestra ("our") Old Fashioned. This is made with Bulleit Rye, Orange Liqueur, brown cinnamon sugar and Angostura Bitters. This is perfect! It tastes just right. I like the square ice cube to slow down the dilution process. It is nicely garnished too. The ice melts nice and slow now (well, usually) let me tell you! I love the lively music! The view of the Strip is awesome if you like to car watch. For my next drink, I'm having a Pampered Smoker. This is made with Jameson, Apry and Mezcal. That was quick! I love the Tajin rim. Tajín seasoning is a popular Mexican chili-lime seasoning made from a blend of dried chiles, dehydrated lime juice, and sea salt. Specifically, it typically includes dried and ground red chilies like arbol, guajillo, and pasilla, along with dehydrated lime juice and sea salt. This is great! That's an unbelievable garnish (dehydrated lime wheel). I was talking with the gentleman in charge of the Humidor (cigar storage area). He once (at least partially) owned the place! For my next drink, I'm having the Room 101 Negroni made with Room 101 gin, Campari, Marie Brizard Apry and Sweet Vermouth. Ah! It served with the large square ice cube also. This tastes absolutely perfect! Nice and strong! The square ice cube fits in just nice! I'm getting a bit hungry so I'm having the chips (half for me) and salsa. Those went quick! These are good! The salsa has a little kick to it too! Time to select a cigar. I'm having a Camacho. This a medium bodied cigar. It's bold and flavorful! It comes with a free shot of Macallan 12 Year scotch. Oh my! This is good! What a great place to relax!

If you need a cigar at Mandalay Bay be sure to bring them from someplace else…read more Sure the prices are extremely high, however that is not the problem. We all know Casino pricing is high, but it is an easy way to get one. Today I experienced what can only be call incredible. I went into the humidor to get a cigar. Then went out to the counter. The guy did not tell the other guy to wait while he rung me out. No he made me wait. When I finally went in to get the guy he was ignorant to me. As he went behind the counter I tossed my card down in front of the machine and told him "any semblance of a tip was gone". He grabbed the cigar and threw my card at me and said "get the fuck out of here". I asked for a manager and he said he would get the mgr there in 5 minutes. I came back and he did not call his manager. Then he told me to come to him and speak with the Mgr. on speaker. He would not call. Then he called security. This guy kept swearing at me Fuck being his word of choice. Security came and not only did they make me leave, but the made me the Casino. They had 5 security people and made me exit behind the casino and not out the front. It is amazing how things have changed in Vegas. Mandalay Bay has always been my favorite resort. I was married here. Now I have been waiting for a while for the security mgr to call me. But that could lead to another review of the resort. I guess I forgot to shave and they just wanted to treat an old guy like shit today.

Given all the debauchery in Vegas and how absurdly priced everything is, it's only a matter of time…read morethat folks who need booze will ultimately find themselves at Liquor City. Located near the Strip, LC sits along Sammy Davis Jr. and is adjacent to Madame Tussauds and The Forum Shops. Overall, the selection is good. The store isn't large enough to compete with major retailers but is generally quite good for anything that is fairly mainstream. If one is looking for something fairly specific, it'd be best to call ahead of time. Prices are going to be a fraction of the cost of purchasing at the casino, so try not to succumb the latter. Another big bonus is the fact Liquor CIty is open extremely late, up until 2AM on most nights. This alone is clutch for anyone needing a booze run at night and clutch for DIY drunkenness. Customer service is solid. The guys behind the counter were great about answering questions on the spot and were quick to point out availability in their tight inventory. There is dedicated parking out front and I would highly recommend coming here in a car. (#1) __________ (#1) This is not an area to walk around in, especially at night.

Great cigar lounge…read more What made us fall in love with this lounge was the wonderful service. Jenna, Grace, Basam and Sanna, made the experience exceptional. If you ever smoked before, this is the place to try it out. They will show you the ropes. Prices were reasonable given that it's Vegas.

TLDR: all it takes is one employee to ruin a supposed premier experience, expensive prices don't…read morehelp it either Well if your a cigar person you always hear about the "high end" lounges in Vegas. So when in Rome (Caesars Palace, pun intended) you try it out. Now I was expecting some high prices but good gravy it's expensive in here! And knowing what prices are outside of here (we not talking high end sticks) the markup is insane (ex: padron 2000 sells for 14-16 back home it's 65 DOLLARS here!!!!!!) So I find a couple of sticks I can stomach the price and after ringing out with the guy there that's where the customer service took a nose dive. On top of everything else it's kinda tight in here and while my best friend was trying to find somewhere for us to sit I was getting the sticks. I meet him at and he's telling me about all these reserved plaques for all of these open seats nobody is around. So while we're trying to figure it out this waitress shows up and he tells her we're trying to find a seat. Her only response was how many in your party. I explain to her about some seats right next to where we were standing: then she raises her voice and says the same thing: how many in your party. I say 2, she starts looking around not even motioning us to follow her but we assumed and we sit at these chairs. Now she leaves, again not saying anything to us and I notice there wasn't an ashtray at our table but there was one right next to us that nobody was sitting at. It's pretty common at a lounge to grab an ashtray if needed so as I'm grabbing it and putting it on our table here she comes with a ashtray and flatly says "honey you gonna have some patience" as she's sits the tray down and I put it back over. Now my best friend is getting hip to the attitude we're getting as she says I'll get you guys a drink menu.....I'm like I'm trying to figure out what we did to get this attitude. She comes back, takes our orders and somewhat promptly brings our drinks to us. Now my back is to the wall so I can see her going to everyone around us taking their orders and slightly cutting her eyes at us. She only came back once to ask if we wanted anything which at that point we said we're good. So a while later we're looking for her to come around so we can get the check, again she's floating around everywhere else to which I had to flag her down for our check, paid and got out of there. Ironically, we walk over to Paris Casino and they had a Montecristo Lounge there too: spacious got instantly greeted, same high prices but totally different vibe there. So whenever I'm back we'll give it a try
