The lady Sequoia here was beyond horrible!! I can't buy a bottle of water or a pack of cigarettes but the person after me can buy alcohol?? How is this okay? I did nothing wrong and was refused service because I am white!! Fuck that horrible woman!!!She needs to be fired!!!! She wouldn't even let me pay for the other person's gas.... this is total discrimination!! She also said my service dog was not allowed in there! That is illegal!!! Was I intoxicated? Yes. I'm still sitting in the parking lot.. I cannot believe what I just encountered... Not only was the gentleman that is working make me feel extremely uncomfortable when I walked in by staring me down, he literally sat on the counter while ringing up the gentleman before me. He did the same for me, but to top it off he didn't give me my change, only the bills... I am shocked because Terribles is my favorite gas station. I've never heard of opening times for a restroom. (Is this something new?) I don't usually like to stop at a gas station to use the restroom unless absolutely necessary. When I asked the employee if they had one, he just mumbled under his breath without even looking at me. This is just a gas station, nothing special. I get gas, a soda and sometimes a car wash. My issue is that the soda machine inside is always out of flavors. Whoever is in charge of ordering needs to order more regularly. I stop here vs. other places because they have the 100s of flavors Coca Cola machine. But if they are out of my favorite flavors every time, I'll just stop somewhere else. read more

This chevron is disgusting. I was on my way to work and this was the closest Chevron, so I didn't have a choice. It was super crowded and it was hard to drive around other cars to get to an empty pump. When I finally did get to a pump and opened my door, there was that sand stuff all over the ground to soak up spilled gas. I was wearing a long dress that day so I had to lift up my dress so it wouldn't touch the ground. The location of this gas station is in a horrible part of town, so there were a few homeless people just hanging around. The pump itself was old and grimy, so I had to use a paper towel to grab the nozzle. Only good thing I can say is that gas was about 10 cents cheaper than on my side of town. But for my safety, I'd rather just drive further and pay the extra $. read more

I stopped to get my car washed. I put a $20 bill in. There was an opening in front of the machine & above it , it said bills returned here. I never got my chang back. I backed up to call them & have someone come out to help. They don't answer their phone. I had to drive my car around to talk to them. Einstein behind the counter said the machine never gives change back. I asked why there wasn't a not saying no change. She said you have to read the receipt. It says to go inside for change back. Who reads a receipt when your getting ready to enter a car wash that is pulling the car in on a conveyer belt! She was mad at me for messing up her conveyer belt by reversing my car. I tried to explain to Einstein that we wouldn't have the conversation if someone had the brains enough to post a sign. The car did get nicely cleaned. ($12) But unfortunately I got a few minor scratches on the side. I didn't want to waste anymore of my time by having a battle of witts with an unarmed person! read more

So I have stopped here before, and I drive by it every single day on my way home from work. I normally do not post reviews for gas stations, but I'll make this exception. I have had nothing but good experiences here. Always a quick in and out for gas, never came up to an out of order pump, and everyone inside is very fri Your building flies a very large American flag that can be seen from very far away. And being a veteran, I love seeing companies fly the star spangled banner. The only catch is, it is very tattered. That flag has done its time, it is completely torn and ripped. Working credit readers. All the pumps were working. Even with it being on the outskirts of downtown and at night when I went, the station was clean and with no one loitering around or running up to me and begging for something. A good spot to get gas. read more

So many pluses to this station. Well lit and in a bum-free part of downtown. No panhandlers harassed me when I was there. Gas was cheap, they have one of the only true coke icee machines in the city and the cashier on grave shift is really sweet and funny. read more

CUSTOMERS BE AWARE AND ASK FOR RECEIPT!!! Never thought I would have to rate a gas station!! I will never pump gas at this location ever again!!!! After training for a new job I was running low gas right about E, remind you I am wearing a long sleeve shirt and dressy pants it's pretty damn hot. I parked at #9 station and went inside gave the cashier Emerald not sure how you spell her name but close $28.00 she verified amount and repeated #9 all confirmed got my receipt and left. I get to my car and I see that she still has not added my money to pump the gas. So this man who is standing there just hanging out kindly says that he will go tell cashier that no GAS IS COMING ON MY PUMP!! As I am waiting I try again to pump gas and nothing yet, and this other lady behind me sees that I am irritated so she kindly tries to help. I explain to her that it's not me, I know how to pump gas it's just not authorized from the cashier for some reason. So I go inside and talk to the cashier she tells me that there is a problem, and shows me receipt that I supposably pumped the gas already. I WAS FURIOUS AND UPSET THAT I WAS LIKE WHAT?? MY CAR HAS BEEN SITTING ON #9!!! now I am pissed off because she says she can't do anything for me, but give me a dollar back since the receipt she showed me show's 27.00. WAIT BUT I GAVE HER 28.00!!! She says that she will need to get a technician to verify that gas was not dispensed and that could take hours, so for me to give her my number and name so they can follow up. She said that she can't be short on her register so that is that. So of course I get loud and raise my voice and tell her that I am not going anywhere until she gives me gas that I paid for!!!!! SHE RUDLEY RESPONSES WELL YOUR GOING TO WAIT FOR HOURS!!! REALLY?? THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE WOW...I HAVE A RESON TO BE UPSET!!! THIS CASHIER RUDLEY START HELPING SOMEONE ELSE WHEN I AM STILL PRESENT IN FRONT OF HER!!! So I ask to speak to the manager and of course she was no help at all same thing the cashier told me she told me. I even proceeded to tell the manager that I gave her my last cash and will be stranded and how unfair this is. I ask her if there is anything else she can do for me she said no that is all. Now I've worked customer service and have years of management experience and know that things can be done!!! THERE IS A THING CALLED PETTY CASH!! No whatsoever customer service care at all. I asked the manager to give me corporates number and she said she didn't have it that I can go back inside and get it. So I go back inside to get corporate # and I spoke to larry the other cashier and got corporates # they of course did not answer.The other cashier is trying to have feelings now and offer me $10.00 gas now don't get me wrong, but I rather be stranded then take money from someone who just made things worse for me and cheated me and made me look like I pumped my gas and poor service. I said no thanks I am good.Now larry he was awesome very helpful and offered me something to drink and was very kind! I ask larry for the receipt that showed I pumped my gas and I realize that it shows 27.00 and products bought in store. I check out my receipt and bam the cashier messed up and send my money to pump #8!!! So larry calls manager and confirms that I been sitting on #9 this whole time so he gives me my gas finally!! I walk out and my mind wanted to say to the cashier pay attention to where you direct the gas but I am better than that and walked out. Attention corporate retrain employee and make sure they make you look good not bad and unprofessional. Have them not have cell phones on them while on the clock, because I witness her answer her phone while helping customers on the clock how unprofessional is that.
