I would personally like to thank Mandeep the pharmacy manager. I went in for what I thought was a 12:15 flue shot appointment but they couldn't find me and I had no email verification. Mandeep knew I had come to this location as it was the closest I could get on line. Today I was dropping off some Fedex packages. I had three. The gal, named Julie, was obviously annoyed that she had to help me. She shuffled over, looked at one of my packages, slammed some tape on the counter and said, "YOU have to tape this" then stared at her phone. I said, "ok - no problem. It has a shipping label, but the others have a QR code". She just stared at me, looked at the packages and said, "you have to tape those up, and we can't ship THIS one" and pointed at a package. I asked if she had an acceptable box that I could use. "NO" she said, " you have to get one." I asked where I could get one "I have no idea- the ones in back are crushed". I asked if I could buy one" I don't know" she answered. She was rude, staring at me and completely unhelpful. I looked at her and said " why are you so rude and unhelpful? I come here frequently and have never had such poor customer service in this department." She continued to stare at me. "What's your name" "Julie" she answered. "Who's your manager" I asked. She said a name under her breath. I said "Who?" "Sandra" she muttered. I said " please call Sandra, I'd like to speak to her". She did. Sandra slowly made her way over, stood next to Julie and stared at me. too! I said, "Julie is being very unhelpful". Sandra said," I heard what's going on and Julie is fine". I was aghast. I said" Julie is rude and unhelpful and so are you! The customer service here is terrible. You have no interest in helping me. How do you think you get paid? By money raining from the sky? NO! It comes from people like me shopping here and spending money. That's how. You both need a lesson in service etiquette and on how to be good employees. You're both an embarrassment to this store. So Sandra, who is YOUR manager?" She mumbled a name. I said "who?" "Steve, and he's not here" she added somewhat triumphantly. " Well when IS he here?" She looked a tad surprised. "Monday she answered." I confirmed their names, assured them I'd be contacting Steve Monday, then left w/ my packages and proceeded to the FedEx on Rosewood in LO where I had excellent, helpful, and expedient customer service. So - Julie and Sandra are HORRIBLE. Avoid them at all costs. They kind of look the same so not too hard to miss. I must add that the pharmacy is very sketchy and unreliable, often not having common medicines, and neglecting to state that fact when handing in a RX. Staff can be very rude, like you're interrupting their, uh, I DON"T KNOW--WORK???? There is a tall beautiful gal who works in the cosmetic dept and at the register. SHE ROCKS. Always nice, always helpful and kind. AWESOME person. She's the only reason I'd go back to this store. read more

My repeated experience at this Walgreens location has been positive. The staff are quick, efficient and helpful. Times are stressful with COVID but the wait time at this location is considerably less than I've experienced at other Walgreens locations in the Portland metro area. read more

Incredibly rude pharmacist that I will name once I find out his name. I have a very sick baby and the last thing I need is a rude pharmacist. In addition the medication didnt include the medicine dropper. I had a not-so-great experience last time I got medication but nothing like this. Slowest service on earth you can literally be waiting 40 minutes on a prescription or flu shot and just one person In front of you

I normally would not write a review on a chain because we've all been to them and had our own experience, plus there is not usually a lot of difference between one and another. But I've been to this location as well as Tigard & Scholls Murray, to be able to say there are big differences and most importantly, their consistent differences visit after visit. The employees and management are much nicer here than Tigard and Beaverton Scholls, especially Tigard where staff is so incredibly rude. A minor request here they will grant you, the same request at the other locations will get you a big fat NO. The location is great for me. Next to my gym, right off the freeway, close to Bridgeport Village and Whole Foods. I've been harassed at the Tigard location and received mediocre service at the Beaverton Scholls. I appreciate the friendliness of the staff and management here and avoid Tigard like the plague after more than one unfortunate incident. Plus getting to the Tigard location is a huge headache because Pacific Hwy is always packed no matter the date or time. And Scholls Ferry to the Beaverton location is almost as bad traffic. The only downside is that the pharmacy lines can get long, there isn't even a convenient place for people to stand and it creates congestion in the area for anyone trying to pass through. It can also take time to get an RX, this can be said for the other locations as well. read more

My rating is for the pharmacy and not the store. We brought a prescription in to be filled and were told it would take 4 hours. We returned after 5 hours and it still wasn't ready. We came back 30 minutes later and not only was it not filled, but they couldn't find it at all. After a few minutes of searching, they located and gave it to us. I should have realized then how disorganized they were and went elsewhere. But I came back a few days later needing a prescription filled immediately. They automatically said it would be 4 hours, but agreed to 2 since I needed it as quickly as possible. I returned after 2 hours and just as I was getting to the front of the line, their systems went down and they couldn't give me my medicine. I thought it must be crazy because of the Coronavirus, but I went across the street to Safeway and had my prescription filled in 45 minutes. I won't ever return to their pharmacy! read more

I'm considered high health risk with regard to COVID. A month or more before the COVID crisis I ordered some photo gifts on line from Walgreens.com which were shipped to thisstore. One of the items was an Easter gift for my daughter's Easter basket. I called the store as I am only doing curbside pick up which feels like the right thing to do not only protect my family but to protect the store employees and to limit the number of patrons going inside the store. With regard to my photo order it was fully paid for and just required I show my ID to pick up but Walgreens refused to bring out to my car or allow me to drive up. In other words they said I had to come in physically to pick up my prepaid "ship to store" walgreen.com photo order. In this current crisis I see many retailers and restaurants offering curbside or delivery to your car in an effort to protect the community, protect store's employees and to offer upstanding, supportive service. I've had so many problems with them over the years, it's amazing that I still do business with them at all. Let's start with outrageous price gouging. For diabetic test strips their prices are 4x-5x more than numerous other places. It's completely insane. This is true of other things as well. It is a nightmare having prescriptions with them. Sometimes I get notified when a prescription is ready, sometimes I don't. Sometimes I go there not knowing, and get balled out for coming before it's ready. Sometimes I don't show up until a week after it was ready but never notified, and they have removed it. Sometimes for refills they dutifully contact my doctor and get that in a timely manner, but often times they do not and completely drop the ball, leading me to go without drugs that I need. Sometimes I can go to the Walgreens near me to sort things out, sometimes they tell me I have to call a 1-800 number. It's maddening how disorganized and hostile to patients their whole set up is. I really need to find a better pharmacist, but there seem to be so few around now. read more

Horrible service from ALLEN at the pharmacy. How does this guy even have a job? A pharm tech should be courteous, and kind. When I asked where something was, he ignored me. With no one in line, I asked again. He responded "if you want to know where something is, say 'excuse me' " I repeated "excuse me, do you know where the bug spray is" he responded "no, I'm a pharm tech, I don't know where things are" and went back to his computer. The worst service today imaginable. I'm so embarrassed for them. They refused to take my coupon because when I ordered photos on line there was no where to put the promo code. They would have rather thrown my pictures away then give me 25% off. After asking for the manager, because the First Lady refused, the manager was a total bitch. I'm a good customer of theirs, usually the people are nice. Terrible management going on there. I like there online services, but will no longer be going there. read more

Today I came here because my dog burnt his whole chin n face off. I got my perscriptions filled at this location. The pharmacist on duty showed me how to administer the medication by sticking syringe in lil hole on top of bottle and getting the exact dose. Seemed simple enough then when i got home time to administer meds the top they put in the amoxicillin was to small for the opening of bottle so it came completely off n spilled everywhere including my dogs eyes n face. I call the pharmacy to let them know of the mishap spoke to the pharmacy mgr a ms ervina wouldnt give me her last name but told me they didnt mk no mistake its my fault it spilled n that u dnt bring bk coffee after u spill it n get a free refill told me she wouldnt care if i called the president of the company cuz she wasnt not going to replace that cuz it's my fault. She had the worst customer service ive ever experienced in my life no sorry that happened to u no how can i help no customer service what so ever. This might be the worst pharmacy in the United States or Canada. The lines are always long, the people unhelpful, and mistakes are frequent. They actually filled my Rx incorrectly with a drug that could have given me serious adverse events. Had I not caught the mistake before taking the drug, it could have been a serious problem. The only redeeming factor is that they have a drive through but that isn't enough for me to keep coming here. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would for their pharmacy. Make appointment at 10 for a flu shot. Arrived at 9:55 first in line. Get checked in. Wait. And wait and wait. A lady came up behind us without an appointment for a flu shot, checked in and got her shot. 45 minutes later we're still waiting. When I asked how much longer it would be the pharmacist says he has no idea as he has 90 prescriptions to review ahead of us and they take people in the order they arrive. Except we were first. When I pointed out we had a 10:00 appointment AND the lady without an appointment has already been helped, he just said I'm sorry but it's not going to be soon. A guy behind us was turns away saying he's there 4 days early for his refill- except he said Walgreens had called him telling him to come. Guy behind him was told they don't have the prescription in stock eve though he too got a call saying it was ready. They clearly have no clue what they're doing at this Pharmacy. Photo department gave someone else a disc with all of my vacation photos and me somebody else's. I was able to return the person's I had, but still have not located my own. Whoever's in charge of the photo department cannot do their job and should be held responsible. The person's I had was given another stranger's and well... HERE WE ARE. Idiots. In the three times I've tried to use this pharmacy, they have failed all three times. First, they tried to switch Meds on us. My daughter has had the same asthma Meds for six years. We move from California to Oregon and they say they have all her medications "on file," but then try to give her something else! Second time, they wanted to charge us $250 for a one month supply of my husband's meds. We call Costco to get a price comparison, they charge $50 for a three month supply! Third time, I'm waiting for meds for my son (three prescriptions). They say it'll take 45 minutes. We leave for an hour and come back. They are still not ready. Ninety minutes later, they are finally ready. One of them is $175. I've learned my lesson. I'm going to Costco from now on. I'm done with Walgreens. This isn't right. Avoid this location if at all possible. read more

I needed to fill a prescription for my lasik surgery up the street, and came in at 12:50 to the pharmacy. I spoke to the front gal, explaining the situation, and asking if I could get them filled before my 2pm surgery. She told me the whole pharmacy closes for lunch 1:30-2 and they will try their best. I was able to postpone my surgery to 2:30 and came back at 2 to the pharmacy to a note "back from lunch 2:10." As soon as they opened, the tech rudely stated that she only has 1/2 a RX of the most expensive prescription and that I need to come back tomorrow for the other 1/2. They are completely ignorant of people's needs, and the pharmacies customer service is not acceptable. read more

Checked out of Immediate care down the road at 6:04pm. First run thru drive thru 20 mins later I did not expect to get my Rx, but wanted to make sure they had my new insurance. She told me they hadn't received my Rx from docs office yet, and that it could take up to an hour. Went and sat in parking lot until 7pm. Back thru, she said they just got it at 6:58, and it would be another 20 minutes. Drove across the way to sit in a different parking lot. Gave them 30 mins to come back and wait in line. After 10 mins, person in front of me drove off suddenly. Tech said she needed my ins card again as it wasnt working. Total of 2 hours wasted. Had I taken the time to read prwvious reviews, I would have never come here. I'll be going back to Target. read more

It's so hard to review or rate a pharmacy but I feel I had to do something considering all of the negative reviews. First off, I wouldn't want the job of Pharmacy Tech/Assistant no matter how much you paid me. It often seems like they are understaffed or it goes in waves and of course all the customers want to be helped and get their medicine ASAP. I've seen it very backed up and took a while to get help to getting help right away. I would especially like to call attention to Kadee and Jared (Manager - keep them happy please) - No matter how busy they are or how they may have just gotten chewed out by a rude customer they always greet me with a nice hello and warm smile. There is something to be said about that nowadays especially considering the jobs they are doing. read more

Extremely frustrating to fill an Rx here. They never have enough of the Rx, so it's always a partial fill, requiring multiple trips. Also, I much prefer 24 hour service in the pharmacy... I was really surprised to learn that isn't the norm here in Oregon. If not for that, why would a person ever choose walgreens?? read more

Ive tried to have prescriptions filled at this Walgreens twice and was very disappointed both times. I always shop around for the best price I can find before I go to the pharmacy with a prescription. The first time I went to this location with a coupon from GoodRx.com for a certain prescription at a great price. The coupon was specific for Walgreens only. The female pharmacist threw a fit and would not fill my prescription at the coupon price. She complained that she would lose money on that prescription at that price. Walgreens the corporation agreed to the coupon price! What difference should it make to the pharmacist whether they make money or not? Walgreens is obviously trying to bring in business by offering the coupon. I probably should have complained to the Walgreens corporate office that time. I didn't, but I'm telling other Yelpers about it now. The other day, I took another prescription to this same Walgreens, this time with a discount card from GoodRx.com. The pharmacist filled it for a lower quantity than the doctor ordered presumably just so that we would not get the discounted price. Why don't the pharmacists at this location honor the coupon or discount that Walgreens offers? I will not be going back to this Walgreens at all and I'll think twice about going to any Walgreens ever again. To add insult to injury, on this 2nd trip, there was a homeless guy sitting on a bench outside the store asking for spare change. read more

This walgreens is okay. The staff isn't the most helpful. The lady with the scraggly dark redish hair and long fake nails never smiles. There is something seriously wrong with this pharmacy. The only reason I'm giving it 2 stars is because occasionally, about 1 in 10 times, they'll get it right. The first year I went there, the guy in the drive thru recognized my car once a month (not sure how he did that) and had my prescriptions waiting. Now, I get to wait at least 45 minutes each time and on one special occasion, I had to return 3 times because the pharmacist kept ordering the wrong item. The manager apologized and said he would send me a $10 coupon for my troubles, not only did nothing ever come, but having to drive back 3 times to pick up one item, isn't worth $10. The only reason I stay here is because when I travel, if I ever happen to forget something there's likely a Walgreens and they have my order on file. I tried Safeway, but they keep separate files and the transfer process between the stores is miserable. Walgreens is an easy transfer process but beyond horrible people working at this location. I'm constantly in search of an alternative and if I find one, I'll be sure to post about it. read more
