Just had the most amazing experience with Debbie at SkinSense Spa! She's truly a master of her craft--every step of the treatment was done with care, skill, and intention. I got the Skin Radiance facial, which was completely customized for my skin and included microdermabrasion. My skin looked and felt incredible afterward! I really appreciated that she noticed an old mountain biking scar on my upper lip and used cupping and gua sha to gently work on softening the scar tissue. She also incorporated lymphatic drainage to reduce puffiness around my eyes and ease sinus congestion. I'm at a loss for words for how I feel. Or maybe there aren't enough words or ways to say how life changing seeing Debbie is. I came in to see Debbie for a bacial (back facial). My back always felt so greasy and just clogged up. Debbie booked my appointment so there was ample time between clients. I felt very safe there as she followed all the covid protocols. Ok so like the basics, the office is beautiful and serene and felt super clean, ample parking and Debbie was masked up the whole time. Now to the fun part. Like I said I got a back facial, wanted to scrub my back clean! But whatever work Debbie did she got my bilateral ankle pain and left hip pain to disappear. She never touched my hip or ankles. I thought it was so strange because I had a massage at my chiropractor recently and it felt great but not like this. I think... *prays that people don't read this like I'm crazy* Debbie is pure magic. Or like a wizard. Cause how the HELL did she fix my lower extremities??? Debbie was very conscious of making sure the pressure was alright or the temperature of the stones or rolly thing was perfect and they were. Absolutely spot on. But something she did manually made my whole body feel like it was brand new. Because I was laying face down for a while my sinuses started to close. It's a common thing for me. Happens all the time, but Debbie said she wanted to work on my sinuses, to help me breathe. I flipped over and this is where I was blown away. She asked about all these aliments I NEVER mentioned or wrote down on the intake form. First it was "do you grind your teeth?" Yes, yes I do. Ok so she got lucky, I'm sure lots of people do. "Do you get migraines/headaches behind this eye?" Yooooooo that's real specific... and yes I just had a pretty terrible cluster headache the day before, behind THAT eye. "Did you have some kind of injury on this left side? It's all blocked up; lots of fluid build up" What the heck... yes my left side aches more, I had a really bad snowboarding accident where I have a hairline fracture in my left hip. "Do you have edema to your hands?" Stop it... stop it right now. I can't even... long story short, yes. It was worse the last couple of weeks. I didn't go in telling her or any pain even though I was in a lot, but when I got off that table I was in absolutely NO pain. Whatsoever. I'm at a loss for words because I don't know how Debbie can be this accurate. I'm a believer, and now I will be back at least once a month. I had the privilege to get my very first facial a few weeks ago before the whole COVID-19 hit. I've noticed lately that my combo skin has been getting drier. I knew I had to seek professional help. I went to Debbie for a mini-facial and was blown away. I am a skincare enthusiast yet had not know how much she could impact me. She has a wonderful space, heated bed and calm atmosphere. She greeted me with enthusiasm. During the mini-facial she assessed my skin type, evaluated my routine and highlighted foods that may be triggering my acne. She started with Microderm abrasion and removed the top layer of dead skin.
