I first went to Dr. Aaron Gorin's Office in June of 2012. I had been very self conscience about my breasts for as long as I can remember, and finally decided to see what options were out there. I was referred by a close friend to Dr. Gorin, and called his office to set up a consult. I set up my appointment for the following week. Upon arriving at Dr. Gorin's office, I was immediately greeted and taken to a private room. Very shortly thereafter, Dr. Gorin came in and introduced himself. I explained my concerns to him, and what I results I aspired to have. Dr. Gorin was extremely professional, and at the same time pleasant and personable, and listened thoughtfully as I explained myself. Upon examining me, Dr. Gorin acknowledged my concerns with my present appearance, without making me feel bad about it. He then explained what he believed my best options would be for my desired outcome. I then tried on various sizers to get a feel for what size I was looking for. He also asked if I had seen any other surgeons for consults, and when I said no, he gave me the names of two collegues to see, and explained that he of course hoped I chose to come to his practice to have my augmentation, but he also suggested I get multiple opinions. I thought that was a very commendible stance. At the conclusion of the consult, I was introduced to a woman who handled explaining the financing option (I don't remember her name as she was on maternity leave when I came back). She was very informative and answered all of my questions to my satisfaction. I felt I left his office far more comfortable than I'd arrived, and I was confident I'd found my surgeon. Though I was sure I was going to return, I took Dr. Gorin's advice and went on a few consults at other offices (including the 2 he referred me to) and found that they were, for a number of reasons, not who I would want performing my surgery. I had to organize my finances and determine what way to finance my surgery, so I ended up finally being able to schedule my procedure in June of 2013. I got a Lollipop lift and 304 CC Silicone implants. Everything from scheduling the surgery to my pre-op appointment and day of surgery was an absolute breeze, and as easy as I could envision it being. Monica, the receptionist, is so helpful and very nice, as well as the surgical team when I met them the day of. They were patient with my nervous questions! As for my results..... I COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! I cannot believe how amazing they look, I never imagined they could look so good, especially after living with what I had before. My healing was a total breeze. I will also say that during my entire interaction with Dr. Gorin and his wonderful staff, I never waited to hear back when I had a question. Dr. Gorin is available by email pretty much always, and I never waited more than a half hour to get a response from him. The 1-2 times I called with a question instead of emailed, I got a call back within the hour. I realize this is a long winded review, but I was so happy with my experience that I want to make sure everyone knows how superior this practice is, not only from a surgical standpoint but also with a customer oriented staff that couldn't be better! What 60 y/o woman decides to have breast augmentation? I had thought about it since I was 50, but took 10 years to work up to it. It has changed my life. I did have low confidence in my decision BEFORE surgery--wondered if I was nuts, or if the doctor would find me foolish. It would have taken very little to make me change my mind. The entire staff at Dr Gorin's office were kind, patient, positive, respectful, helpful and professional. But if you are reading my review, you probably don't care about that as much as you care about the actual quality of the work, right? Let me tell you--I would happily show my new body to ANYONE! I am so happy and for the first time, I feel like a normal woman (went from a 36 A- to a 36C). I also decided at the last minute for a c-section revision. My c-section scar created adhesions that gave me a permanent pannus--there was nothing I could do to make that tummy lump disappear. I had the abdominoplasty at the same time as the augmentation. After a month, I had to buy smaller pants. I also found, I started to lose a few pounds (that was a blessing) because my abdominals felt "properly tight" and gave me feedback that I was full and didn't need to gorge. My husband and I moved to a different state 3 months after my surgery. We have friends here from 30 years ago. I look so much healthier and prettier than I did back then. I have gotten so many compliments about how I have kept myself in shape. Hey--I'll never tell!!!! I feel beautiful--my clothes fit perfectly--I have even had young clerks at clothing stores suggest clothing for me that shows off my shape (I never would have considered pretty clothes like they are handing me to try on--they are so complimentary saying I should show off my shape since so many women my age have "let themselves go"--understand, my surgery was not extreme--I didn't want my breasts to be enormous, my breasts just look properly proportioned for the rest of my body, now). The biggest surprise is that my improved body image has completely changed how I feel about myself--I feel so positive and happy and grateful to be alive. I feel like I'm 25 again--Dr Gorin absolutely changed my life. I am forever grateful. His is kind and positive, but most importantly, he is highly skilled. He knows his craft and if I could give him 10 stars, I would. I searched for a plastic surgeon for 8 years, and finally decided to go with Dr Gorin. I liked his before/after pictures more than any of the other doctor's pictures I considered over the years. He did such a great job for women, even when the "raw material" was a real challenge. His reviews were so positive, and he really DOES get back to you immediately by text. He is a GOD! If I decide to have any other plastic surgery, I will likely fly back to Portland--I trust Dr Gorin completely. My surgery was May 22, 2014. My scars look great--in a few more months, I know they will be nearly invisible. I can wear anything and look fabulous. Thank you, Dr Gorin--really, you don't know what you have done for me. I had thought about and looked into breast lifts for several years before deciding to finally have this procedure. I had made the decision to get a BL with implants after very careful review and fully researching it for many months. I additionally had made appointments with two other surgeons for consults, and I am glad I did because this allowed me to see the personalities of the other two surgeons as well as the procedures they suggested. After an email; to Dr. Gorin and a reply in person that evening I set up an appointment and was able to see him the next week, There was no choice who would be doing my surgery, Dr Gorin put me at ease the moment he walked in, his bedside manner is fantastic and you will be hard pressed to find a friendlier surgeon with the skills he possesses to make a women feel beautiful and happy with her decision to undergo a breast lift. I look and feel fantastic with my results. The process was informative and definitely a team process between myself and Dr. Gorin. I was encouraged to pick the size I wanted to be from implants that were placed in a bra that allowed me to see what the final result size would be. He never told me a cup size that I would be after my procedure, and if you wear bras form different makers you know they are all sized differently. Prior to my surgery I had bra sizes that were 34C and some that were 34DD that is a big difference for the same fit of cup. What I chose was a bit bigger then what I had placed, but because of the skill and knowledge of anatomy and elasticity of tissue by Dr.Gorin we both decided if my tissue would not take the larger size at the time then I trusted him to go with the best size for me. The biggest thing with any surgeon is the trust and rapport they have with their patient, this is something that is a must for the best results possible. I love my new look hands down no question about it. My breast lift with implants has exceeded my expectation on how I would look. They look very natural and most people can not tell I had a breast lift with implants, including physicians I work with. I have recommended Dr. Gorin to several friends who had talked about augmentation. One of my friends has actually had implants by Dr. Gorin and loves them too. I would recommend Dr. Gorin to anyone who is interested in in breast augmentation. All of the staff working at this clinic are amazing, friendly and so helpful. I've been meaning to write this review for awhile. Though I'm not typically a big review writer, I think it's important to give someone credit and recognition when they deserve it. Dr Gorin performed a tummy tuck and flank/bra roll lipo for me in fall of 2014 and then some revision lipo of the aforementioned areas, plus lipo of the inner thighs and upper posterior arms in fall of 2015. First off, Dr Gorin is great. He's very laid back, pleasant and friendly, and you never feel like he's just trying to sell you on something to maximize his sales. In fact, he actually advised "no" on a few things I was interested in having done and counseled conservative expectations on arms and inner thighs given that they are difficult areas to lipo well without asymmetry, dimpling, etc., which did unfortunately happen to me. I was better prepared because he was honest. He does seem to really want you to be happy with your results. In fact, he offered me several complimentary services to help my results along in areas where I had a less than ideal initial result; cool-sculpting of the flank (which didn't work on me at all), micro-needling (which has been fabulous on reducing scarring - try it!), and even some revision lipo at no cost. All areas that he revised looked better after he was done. What other physician works so hard to try to get your end result in line with your hopes and expectations? None that I know of! And by the way, my tummy tuck was fabulous....nice and flat! I know that every body and every situation is different so I'm not saying that everyone should expect this same thing, but in general, I really believe Dr Gorin to be a plastic surgeon of integrity and honesty and someone who cares about your result. His staff seem really happy working there too - you can tell they respect him and enjoy working with him. That to me is additional testimony to his character. Oh, and by the way....when I was in the recovery process from all my various procedures, Dr. Gorin was always quickly available by text to answer questions and address concerns. His responsiveness also really sets him apart. I have additional work I'm considering....fillers, etc. and I will continue to do business with Dr Gorin and his staff because of my great experiences. I had a BA done in November of 2013. It's been four months and I am so glad that I decided to not only have the surgery but that I decided to go with Dr. Gorin. During my research, I visited a couple other doctors in the Portland/Vancouver area. The other doctors were reputable and had great reviews and referrals as Dr. Gorin, but I felt the most comfortable with Dr. Gorin. His office staff were warm and welcoming, unlike others that seemed very "clinical". Throughout the entire process he was ALWAYS available to talk. He gave me his cell and I could text him my questions and he would quickly respond. That alone is amazing. What doctor gives you their cell and will text you back at all hours? This is a simple surgery in respect to others, but it is still a surgery and it is image changing. I for one, wanted to feel 100% confident and comfortable with the process. Once I decided on Dr. Gorin, the hardest part was picking what cc's do go with. I was a 36A and didn't want to be "Boobs McGee", just enhance what I had and look more proportioned. I kept going back and forth and back and forth between sizes so to help me, Dr. Gorin let me take 3 different size samples home and I literally tried on my entire wardrobe to see how each would look. Big decision and I'm glad he let me figure it out and feel good about what size I chose. On surgery day, it was a great experience! I remember the awesome anesthesiologist said he was going to "give me something to make me tired and check back in on me", I woke up and asked him if we were ready to go in and he laughed and said "Honey, you are already done!". Sure enough, boobs in and bandaged up! Recovery the first couple days was certainly uncomfortable, but it wasn't unbearable. I had my surgery on a Wednesday and was back to work on Monday. And if I ever had a concern about anything, I would text Dr. Gorin and he would text or call back. Fast forward 4 months and I couldn't be happier with my 36C's. I feel great! My friends and family were shocked how natural I look. Like I was born with them! I wanted to let everyone know that if you are thinking about having a BA, talk to Dr. Gorin. I HEART MY NEW BOOBIES!!! Getting a boob job was on my wish list for years and years. When I was finally ready to get serious about this I started researching and asking around. I found Doctor Gorin online and rates as the top plastic surgeon in 2013. I am not a phone call lover so I shot an email to the office. Within FIVE minutes, I received a reply from Dr. Gorin HIMSELF, answering all my questions and answering questions I didn't know I had. He was attentive and extremely responsive and had one of his staff call me the next day to schedule and appointment. After my initial consult I was more than assured that this was not only the doctor for me, but the facility. His staff was all very knowledgeable and friendly and were always concerned with how I was doing and actually knew personal details about me. I wasn't just another patient, or another number. During the entire year and a half that I was saving money, Dr. Gorin and Team were always responsive and receptive to any questions or needs I had for pre-operative care, financing options, friendly advice and would get back to any of my questions almost immediately. Flash forward to October of 2014. I spent the better part of a year saving up for my procedure, talking ad nauseum to anyone that would listen to me and found that MANY MANY of my friends had gone to Dr. Gorin and I had complete boob envy. I am now 3 months post-op and can genuinely say that this was the best thing I've ever done for myself. I just got my pre and post op photos emailed to me by Dr. Gorin HIMSELF (15 minutes after my check up) and am totally amazed by the great job he did. I HEART MY NEW BOOBIES!! I really recommend Dr. Gorin to anyone that is looking for a great plastic surgeon. I had a tummy tuck and breast augmentation performed by Dr. Gorin almost a year ago. A friend of mine highly recommended him since she had her breast augmentation with him with great results. I emailed the office to schedule an appointment for a consultation and within 5 minutes, they called me back to schedule a day. When I got to my appointment they didn't make me wait at all, and all the staff and the Dr. were very professional. Dr. Gorin made me feel at ease from the very beginning; he took the time to answer all my questions (I had a long list), explained the procedure with simple words, and told what to expect during my recovery. After the initial consultation, I felt like I had found the perfect surgeon and no longer needed to keep searching. I felt right away that I could trust him and I decided to schedule my surgery two weeks from my consultation. The day of my surgery the whole staff made me feel so comfortable - from the nurses, the anesthesiologist, to the doctor - they all had excellent bedside manners. Dr. Gorin was available 24/7 to answer any questions via email or phone. He called me the same day of my surgery after I got home to check up on how I was doing, and I went to his office the next day for a follow up, even though it was a Saturday. I called him on Sunday to ask for a prescription and he answered the phone right away to send it to the pharmacy. All my follow-up appointments were great and the results are amazing! I can not say enough wonderful things about Dr. Gorin and his staff. I decided to get a breast augmentation and started doing some research. Like all research done from the internet there are so many options and I was overloaded with information. I had a ton of questions on my first visit. At no time did I ever feel rushed or a bother. From the first moment I met Dr. Gorin I knew I had made the right decision. His approach was honest and helpful. I felt like he really listened to what I wanted, what I didn't want and the best way to get there. I also very much appreciated the fact that I knew that I could reach Dr. Gorin anytime if I had a question. They took the extra steps to make sure that I was in the best health (I have Ulcerative Colitis) before the surgery, consulting with my gastroenterologist. It could have ment delaying the surgery. I after an extra blood draw I got the go ahead from my UC Dr. I was so excited and relieved. My mom had gone to the pre-op appointment with me and was also very impressed with Dr. Gorin and his professionalism. At the pre-op I had changed my mind on size (I went up a size) and he talked it over with me (and my mom) to make sure I didn't have any questions. The day of the surgery I felt very comfortable and at ease. Everything went smoothly and the after care was great! It has been 6 months since my surgery and I could not be happier. I see that there are some negative reviews about Dr. Gorin's practice on here and I have to disagree with those reviews considering I am patient who has gone through several appoints, surgery and several follow up appointments! I have never experienced any disrespect from his staff ever in all the times I have been there. In fact, I have nother but wonderful things to say about Dr. Goring and his crew. They are all very nice and super laid back, so you feel very comfortable and welcome! Dr. Gorin makes a point to reach out to his patients personally to ensure that everything is going to smoothly both pre and post op. Aside from the warm atmosphere, Dr. Gorin does outstanding work! I had been wanting breast implants since I was in high school. After years of waiting and researching doctors, I finally found Dr. Gorin. For the first time in my adult life, I can actually say I LOVE my breasts! :-) They look AWESOME!!! He helped me find the perfect size for what I was trying to achieve for my frame. They are large, but still natural looking! Now I have thrown out all my uncomfortable double padded bras and can rock a sports bra and feel sexy! :-) I'm VERY happy with my results, and if you're interesting in having a breast augmentation, I would definitely urge you to check out Dr. Gorin! Dr Gorin has shown exemplary customer service from the very beginning. At my first consultation (free by the way) he was very attentive to all my questions no matter how dumb they were. I had done some initial research on breast augmentation and have some friends that have gone through surgery, but it's always good to get answers from the doctor who will actually be doing the surgery. I left his office feeling pretty good about my decision but he was the first one to say "go to a couple of other consultations to make sure you make the right decision for you". Which I thought was very generous of him. In the end his staff and how he handled that first appt was what made me choose his office. The fact that he has his own surgery suite and great financial options were a bonus. There is one thing about him that I thought was awesome and that is how accessible he is to his patients. I emailed him multiple times about questions and worries and within 24 hours or less he had responded!!! Once I had made the decision to go forward everything went very smoothly from there on. It has now been six months and I love my new breasts. I thank Dr Gorin and his staff for being so nice and doing a great job with my surgery. Highly recommend...for breast augmentation at least. I am a 45 year old woman who for many years has been self conscience of my breasts. They were small for my body frame to begin with but after breast feeding several children had lost their fullness. Shopping for clothes was difficult as many shirts and dresses hung on my upper torso and I dreaded shopping for swimsuits. (It was not my desire to look out of proportion but instead to look natural). I feel more confident and sexy as a woman than I ever have.
