About a year later she performed Carol tunnel surgery on my hand, followed by the surgery on the other. 2 years later I smashed my hand and required yet another surgery and she fixed that one too. 3 f days later my 40 pound Bengal decided he DID NOT like the dressing on my hand and felt he needed to attack it to get it off his Hooman and damaged the stitches. I didn't think much of it and just redressed it. 2days after that the hand swelled up and was red and A pain I can't even describe. I called her office and spoke with her answering service. Within 15 minutes she called me and told me to come into the office immediately. It was the 4th of July BTW. She took 1 look at it and told me it was infected and she needed to open and clean it and determine the damage. So she numbed it up and opened it rite there. It looked and smelled horrid. She got it cleaned up and repaired the damage. She gave me antibiotics and pain meds. Do you know of ANY DR that will leave a family celebration to RUSH to their office and rescue a SERIOUSLY CLUMSY patient. IMO, that PROVES how much she RESPECTS and LOVES her Patients. I trust her so much I have send my LOVED ones to her and have recommended more of my friends than I can say. If I could give her 500 stars I would. She is a KIND, CARING, Dr that has a true concern about her Patients. I trust her more than I can say. She is a rare combination of, COMPETENCE, PROFESSIONAL, HONESTY, and flat out AWESOMENESS. Being a petite woman, I had never considered having any type of abdominal reduction before; however, due to Dr. Streu's encouragement, I agreed to have this procedure done. I never asked for this procedure that cost me $10,822.40, subjected me to pain and major swelling for 4 months and left me with an unsightly scar. I originally tried Dysport in my massetur muscles in my jaw for tension. It helped of course but I did notice slight jowling after which I found out was correlated/caused from Botox in the jaw from tiktok vids. Needless to say, it isn't addressing the underlying problem and is just a bandaid. My last appointment here, I shared I wanted to look a little lifted and refreshed mostly under my eyes. I had done lasers and microneedling in the past which helped, but was short lived. Now -- more thanks to tiktok -- I probably need to fork over for sculptra or sofwave. This will NOT be fixed by injectables. My nurse told me she could do a little cheek filer and some other filler around my face. Mind you, I'm terrified of filler. Potentially I would want a facelift down the line which I have heard can complicate that process, but mostly I don't like the bloated look, it is often so obvious and then you become blind to it, keep getting it, and look crazy. It was sold as if it would even out my face and give more balance, and I thought about it, did trust the nurse, who had great texture but who's own filler was still a tad overdone, making me a little wary. It's not like Botox where it wears off over months. You're getting it "dissolved" or whatever with little lumps lying around forever, so I wanted to take the time to think about it and ended up canceling. I could see others being very pressured and trying at the appointment even though I'm sure this is as overpriced as Botox and it gives you the vibes they're trying to hit a metric. They should give you options--even if they don't offer the treatment--for the result you are looking for.
