I would have put a zero if I could. The PHARMACY IS THE WORST, horrible and ridiculous. You wait forever whether you are in drive thru or walk in. If you call, no one answers and you are always 3 or 4 callers ahead of you and on hold for up to 40 minutes. A lot of times they cant even understand you. It's a lot of work to order online at walgreens. More work to pick up. I always have difficulties going to drive thru. When I pick up meds I am usually very ill. It takes forever to get my medication. 2 weeks ago at the drive thru there was a employee, A man that didn't know much. So slow! Drive thru needs improvement. One of the worst things you can do is try and smooth things over by saying " we are just so busy" like we as patients don't have a life that's busy. I called for my prescription and waited 34 minutes before someone answering. Then she told me it's available and come anytime. I show up and the doctor says there's a shortage and they can only fill "half" of my script. I can be understanding but the head nurse was extremely rude telling me I can always look other places which I never influenced looking for another pharmacy. They are by far the most unprofessional and rude pharmacy I have ever experienced in my 62 years. I was told on Friday that my script was ready. So Saturday I go in and was informed they were out of my medicine and would be ready on Monday. I called and was told it's not there, it's a specialty medication and they would have to order it. I explained what I was told the previous visit and she got an attitude and hung up on me. Right away I went over there and was told she thinks it was sent to Santa margarita. I have never had anything to do with rancho Santa margarita in my life. After that she told me to have a seat. 30 minutes later I got my medication. At first they told me the prescription was filled and ready for pick up. Instead, when I got there, they gave me 5 days worth of my prescription and told me the rest would be delayed. FOURTEEN days later I still hadn't heard from them and called and still no prescription. The older female employee with long brown hair tried to charge me for medication I NEVER pay for. I told her I've been coming here for 6months and never pay bc my insurance covers the medication. She then proceeds to falsely accuse me of paying in November, I was shocked by the audacity of her to say this lie and I told her this is absolutely not true. I received a call from the pharmacy asking me to file a police report for some medication that I lost traveling. There wasn't a theft as I simply left a prescription in a hotel room inadvertently. I simply can't believe what I was hearing on the phone. To waste police time and resources filing a report on a bottle of medication I lost myself. This place is beyond redemption. read more

I got notice that my prescriptions were ready to pick up. I went through the drive through, which by the way, the microphone does not work! It is barely audible. After playing charades with the attendant, for a few minutes, I came to the conclusion that it wasn't ready after all. He told me to come back in 10 minutes. So, I came the next day. I will never come back to this pharmacy again. My doctor called in a prescription and the pharmacy didn't have a supply of basic medication. I was greeted by a sign to use a QR code to check in. I completed this process and was instructed to have a seat and wait for my name to be called. This is the worst walgreens location I've ever been to. The store manager is the short pudgy Indian lady & she has profiled me every time I've gone to this location. I used to work in retail and as an apartment security guard so I can pick up on when someone is following me around fairly easily. Every time I've gone in here even though I'm dressed completely normally. Shirt, pants, slides or a jacket too if it's a cold day & immediately she'll go up to me and ask me if I need any help & I'll say "no, not particularly." Then she'll follow me around the entire store until I'm done shopping, have paid, and have left. I don't know if it's because I'm Asian and she's racist or if it's because I look young. This Walgreens may be small, but it's conveniently located, had a friendly sales associate, and even has a drive-thru pharmacy! I came here the other day to grab some a few small items. A stern-looking employee (who was stocking shelves) pointed me in the direction that the toothpaste was located. It was really the cashier at the front that was friendly and helpful. I also liked that the store was so quiet and had plenty of great parking. It was nice to be able to run in and get what we needed quickly. Although this store could use an extra employee or two to help customers and keep the store clean, this is little store is conveniently located and had a small selection of everything we needed! read more

It was a drive-through test and I was nervous because I was late (I live far away!) and needed to get tested. Just in this store and had to walk out because the cashier didn't know anything. Would not take a manufacturers coupon because it wouldn't scan. I only have this problem when the cashier is clueless. Kaylee is one of the only ones there that knows anything and she wasn't there. I asked and the cashier didn't know her. She's been there for years and this guy didn't know who she was. As an employee you should know all your coworkers. He was the only one in the store and that's not good. This is one of probably many reasons they are closing stores.
