I went to your store to buy some things for valentines on 02/12/2025 , while i was checking out your employee Nandra, was throwing my stuff in brown paper bags telling me I am better off going to another store, I replied but walgreens has the best stuff and she told me a bear is a bear and she rolled her eyes, this completely ruined my experience as your customer and made me extremely uncomfortable. If I can leave a zero star, I would. This pharmacy is the worst I've ever encountered. I have called so many pharmacies around town to fill prescription for my patients and I have never waited more than 15 minutes. At least a tech would be nice to reassure you that there is any life form exist at this pharmacy. I waited an hour and still no one pick up the phone because the patient insisted this pharmacy. There was not even a message option. Eventually when 1 hour has passed I hung up and contacted the patient to choose any other pharmacy. It took me 4 minutes to complete the entire prescriptions order. This place is pathetic and a waste of time. read more

Pharmacy is knowledgeable & always helpful even though they are slammed due to extenuating Covid issues. Staff on the floor is very helpful when trying to locate an item, they can look it up on their iphone & get the status. I've never had a bad experience at this store. Jean T read more

I've come here before to pick up photos that I created & ordered online. No problems. I went today (8/29/2017) during all the Harvey mess and it didn't seem anything out the ordinary. The lines weren't crazy long, they had the same amount of cashiers as they would normally and it was convenient and quick. All Walgreens locations always seem pretty consistent to me compared to other locations. They all have a rewards program (one goes for all) + book of coupons at the front of the store. read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. I put in an online photo order a week ago, it took 2 people nearly 10 minutes to find my order. When she gave me my photo order, my photo cards were stuffed into a regular photo envelope, not a box. There were no envelopes with the cards, it says on the order "photo cards with envelopes". Not going back, will look into CVS for my photo needs, hopefully they are better. read more

This store is fine, but the pharmacy has a lot of problems. I have used this pharmacy for over 15 years, and over the past year they have enacted some policies (which do not appear at other Walgreens in the area) which have made any interaction with the pharmacy staff beyond difficult. The pharmacist within this establishment has an overwhelming need to verify even the most simple prescriptions with the doctor prior to filling the order. Simple allergy medications through my wife's chemo injections are questioned every time we try to fill them. I can't even talk about how difficult it is to get the needles for these injections from here - others will provide them without even asking why. We no not fill any pain medication prescriptions, usually because we don't like to use them. (I say this because the pharmacy has a large sticker on the counter stating it can and will double-check on pain medications...I guess in order to stop those who are abusing them)....BUT, a pharmacist is...a pharmacist, not a doctor. We have just transferred all of our prescriptions to another Walgreens (we like the company, just not this location). With all of the difficulties with premiums, deductibles, and healthcare costs, I don't need the added stress of the staff at this Walgreens questioning my doctor's decisions about our healthcare. read more

This is a review on both the store and the Walgreens corporate policy. This store had a circular stating 50% off a certain boxed chocolate and in their own words "WHILE SUPPLIES LAST". However the oh so polite cashier stated the limit was 2 per person and confirmed by her manager. I asked where it was stated there was a limit and they could not answer me. They just stood there with their pleasantly happy faces (not really, they looked they hate their life and job). So I called corporate to get an answer and they expect you to read on the very back of a 30 page pamphlet each store can limit sale items. So while your coupon says one thing, you give yourself an out on the back nobody reads? I asked corporate how are people supposed to know when there is a limit? She says I can ask the manager. So each store can have a different limit depending on if the manager is having a bad day or not, good policy. This is what Walgreens expects you to do, the the circular in, go over each item with the manager and ask which items have limits. Genius, right? Get you in the store with a coupon then suddenly limit sale items. Either have a limit or don't, don't leave it up to your rude life hating managers. read more

The pharmacy staff is excellent especially Nada and Kimberly (who I've worked with most directly). I am going to work overseas and they have been so patient with the entire process. And it is quite a process. I have been going to this pharmacy for years and they have always been consistently great, but I am more than impressed with how helpful they have been in this situation. I had to make a quick stop for a toothbrush. Is it just me or when you walk into a Walgreen's for 1 thing, you walk out with 10. How does that happen? Oh I know how... the quick stop necessities like toothbrushes, toothpaste, toilet paper, cold medication etc are always in the back of the store. You don't have a choice but to walk through all the aisles selling the unnecessary. I just can't resist the free trial sized body lotion when you buy the big ass bottle. I also always feel like I'm wasting money when 1 bottle of ibuprofen is $5.99 when I can buy 2 for $10. Wait... I just spent an extra $4 but I have more ibuprofen. Argh! You definitely pay for convenience here. Drugstores are way more expensive than grocery stores. I should have just stopped at Kroger for a toothbrush. Sigh. read more

Should be zero stars! While on vacation in Houston my 18 year old daughter I stopped into walgreens because she needed face wash. I decided to purchase a bottle of champagne to take back to the hotel room for the morning. When checking out I was told I could not purchase any alcohol due to my daughter was with me. Britt the photo person who was called over said that in Texas as long as a minor was with me I could not buy alcohol at any store. It is against the law. I told her I am a loyal Walgreens shopper and have purchased beer and/or wine on other occasions when not only is my 18 year old daughter with me, but my 16 year old son as well. She said the other stores were breaking policy and maybe it was because they knew me. Not the case when I have visited a walgreens for the first time in the Austin area and they had no idea who I was. Not to mention if what she is saying is true, then how can one purchase alcohol at an HEB when their children are with them? Or how can minors walk in to a liquor store with a parent when a parent purchases alcohol? I was super disappointed and we took our business elsewhere at a similar type store which seems to also be on every corner and I was able to purchase champagne with my daughter with not a question. Makes me wonder with so many other pharmacies if I should just take my business elsewhere. In the end, this Britt who decided she was in charge of the world, told me just this once I could purchase the champagne. Really? Why? Do we look like nice people? What the heck!? Good thing I have had other great experiences with the Walgreens closer to home. I have filled out the "Wagcares" survey and submitted a form via the website. Three days and no response. Curious to see if anyone really cares. I feel like someone owes me an apology. read more

This is the worst Walgreen's I have ever been to. Over the weekend I was released for the hospital. So I went to this Walgreen's to fill my prescriptions. I got there at 5:45 pm not aware that they close at 6 pm. The pharmacist threw attitude with me like I was an inconvenience then told me to come back in 20 mins. So i decided to wait outside since it wouldn't be long and did as i was told. At 6:02 pm I walk back inside and to my surprise they were close. So I ask to speak with the manager (Tri Hoang) who informed me that she had already left as if that wasn't obvious. Which did not make since seeing that they closed the store 2 minutes prior. I run an entire store my self and It never takes me 2 mins to close down,lock up, and leave. Anyways I explain to him what the pharmacist had done, and he responds with, "there's nothing he can do, so you need to leave". I explain to him I was just released and had I have known then I would have never left my prescription in their care. He says, "Well there hours are posted you should have checked". So I ask him to call the woman seeing that she had just left, to see if she would turn around so I could take my script to someone else, or approve a transfer. He responds I am not going to do that she is off the clock. After a lengthy conversation I never got my prescription, and the manager refused to help. I have been going to Walgreen's for several years each week i spend $40 guaranteed, my entire family also uses Walgreen's for all of our needs. This is the first time I have used their pharmacy and due to the lack of help and character the manager showed as well as the inconsideration I as well as my family will never use Walgreen's again. I will also inform every person I know about the wonderful treatment I had received after being released from the hospital 30 minutes prior to the incident. read more
