Service could be better, I think folks are over worked or tired. The music in the pharmacy area is too loud and it's hard to hear the techs when they talk to you. This location is probably one of the worst run Walgreen's in the area, which is unfortunate because it is in a great location. For starters, their online inventory never matches what's in store and I think every order I've ever placed has had at least one item out of stock. Even if you select an alternative, it seems like more often than not the alternative is also out of stock so you end up with nothing. I get that this can be an issue at all stores but Walgreen's is exceptionally bad at it. There are frequent long lines and they no longer open additional registers. Back in pre Covid days, if a long line started to form at the front, they would have someone open a register back at the photo counter or over at the beauty counter. Not anymore! Lastly, the store does not keep up with basic maintinence. The store was absolutely sweltering this evening with not even a hint of AC and their refrigeraters were also warm. I really do loathe Walgreens. It is convenient that they are open 24 hours and offer things you can grab but then the second you go in, you regret it and are probably better going to a 7-11. Finding things are difficult, their employees are clearly unhappy so good luck getting any assistance with anything. Their lighting at every location is set to hyper over the top LED though so if you want to get that 'I am a strung out drug addict' effect without actually being a strung out drug addict, this is your spot! The best part is that their receipts offer a survey to win 3k in a drawing. Can I give 0 stars? The absolute worst. I've never had a good experience here. I only chose this pharmacy because it has a drive up and I'm sick. They sent me home without my medication in the bag. Terrible customer service and an even worse ran store. I come in to pick up photos and there's no one even at photo which is fine however after my photos were said to be ready for pick up they weren't even started and the "shift manager" proceeds to say oh well I'll just cancel it as if I hadn't drove all the way to the store to pick up. They've got some issues at this location. Every so often you cannot pick up your script because their "system goes down". Yesterday I arrived at my scheduled vaccine time to find a note on the closed pharmacy. Apparently they are having staffing issues so they are no longer opening the pharmacy on Sundays. The sign said if you've got an appointment time for a Sunday you can come by on a weekday the following week. I had to assume that meant you'd be waiting and worked in. Not wanting to chance standing around, I opted to reschedule to another store for next week. While I realize that things happen, I can't figure out why they are offering Sunday appointments online at this location if they aren't open on that day now. Also, there should be a way to be alerted through their system that your appointment won't be honored now. Thank goodness it was only a 5 minute drive for me to walk in and find out...I feel bad for anyone else who had to drive farther only to be turned away by the sign. Too bad. read more

I have encountered many problems with this pharmacy. They are short staffed and have long wait times. My medications are never ready on time and the pharmacy is always randomly closed during regular business hours. On my most recent encounter I got in line at the drive thru at 9am when they open. Had 5 cars in front of me and waited 45 mins without moving. I got out of my car to walk up to the window to see why the line wasn't moving, the window was closed with no posted signs. I called the store to ask what time the pharmacy would be open today and the clerk said no one showed up to work in the pharmacy today so they will be closed. At this point the drive thru line was wrapped around the building. They had no posted signs to let us know that they were closed. This is a holiday weekend and people need their medications. Very unprofessional and I will no longer be using this pharmacy. read more

This is the 2nd time I've reviewed. After a terrible ongoing experience with Walgreens on Cornell I switched to Costco. A medication that has been out every time I checked At Walgreens - literally for a year was available at Costco when I checked today. The Walgreens store has staffed up now but service is still terrible. The app frequently doesn't work and no one answers the phone. The staff appear unmotivated- literally stand around while there are customers waiting in line. My experience at Costco was so different today- very efficient and staff are pleasant. It's inconvenient to go to Costco but I expect less difficulties. read more

One of the best stores out in Hillsboro. The only major problem are the self entitled customers who come through and treat all of the staff as if they work in a fast food restaurant. Demanding unreasonable requests and expecting medications to be done within seconds as if it's as easy as flipping a burger. I applaud the staff up front and in the pharmacy for putting up with the ridiculous requests and entitlements of these 1 star Yelp reviewers, chances are they live in the area and expect people to wait on them hand and foot. If you ever have to spend a long time waiting it's probably because the staff just got done getting yelled at by someone who demands their medication to be placed in the front of the line even though the patient in front of me has had the hardcopy for weeks on end... This Walgreens is so well stocked! The store is clean and ample. I have never used the pharmacy for Rx as my insurance doesn't work with them, but I have stopped to buy syringes for one med I use and they were great at locating the right needle/syringe combo. Absolutely awful pharmacy. I've had prescriptions misfilled. Today I dropped a prescription for pain medications at noon for my husband after his surgery. I was told the prescription would be ready at 2pm and I was told I would receive a text when it was ready. I called at 3pm. I went to this location because it's close to my house. This is the second time using the pharmacy, both times I have been disappointed. First time, to get my flu shot. Made appointment, stood in line for an hour, got my shot but they refused to document my flu shot serial# and lot #. So no proof that I even got one. Second time, went to pick up my prescriptions, they want to charge me $130, stating that they don't accept my insurance (Aetna). I told them that my gf was there last week with my insurance and it was less than $7. They refused to listen and stated the $130 charge. I won't be back. read more

I had some magnets made for Father's Day and when I went in to pick them up at the photo department they didn't look as good as I had hoped. My husband pointed out the flaws and the gentleman in the photo department agreed, and said he would happily remake them and fix any issues. Five stars for the best flu shot I have ever received in my life. The pharmacist, whose name is escaping me, was very good - I never even felt a prick of the needle! I was in and out of Walgreens with my prescription and a fresh bandaid on my arm within fifteen minutes. On the other hand, the normal register line was long and cashiers were slow, hence the four stars instead of the five for the pharmacist. read more

So disappointed. My husband and I picked up a prescription from the drive thru. We noticed while waiting a couple customers without masks. We were really surprised that the pharmacy attendant was not wearing a mask. I said out loud, "No mask?". She did not respond. I brought this to the attention of the pharmacist who claimed staff all wore masks. Next time I'm taking a picture to attach, although I assume they have security footage. All the staff was waiting outside. Appartently the manager who had the key was a no-show. I waited till 9:30 and left. The pharmacy is terribly understaffed. At another recent visit I counted 12 cars in the drive up window line. Also, my mail order pharmacy sent them 2 fax requests to transfer a prescription, and never received a response. Did other things and went in at 12:30pm, since pharmacies don't always have things ready on time. Was told immunizations are only given until noon. Not told this when I originally called. Walgreens is your typical cookie-cutter chain, drugstore. Pretty much if you've been to one of them, you've been to all kinda thing. PERKS + great customer service (pharmacy and regular staff) + clean facility + ample parking lot + provides coupons upon purchases (like Target) + 2 drive-thru lanes for pharmacy (good for customers, bad for pharmacy employees LOL) + located near local bus stop DIRTS - no more rewards program (apparently it was a trial basis in Oregon and corporate didn't want to stick with it) - potential accident site! crazy drivers visiting the drive-thu lanes like to go from 0 to 60 near exit (driver beware) too many to count! - not user friendly (i tend to always walk in trying to find the aisle i need something, the set-up isn't intuitive even though it's cookie-cutter) - pharmacy no longer accepts certain insurance company (you may need to take your business elsewhere) - expensive (items in the store are $$$$ compared to other places) In the end, people usually shop at Walgreens for pharmacy-related purposes. I on the other hand don't typically visit here unless I'm in dire need of sugar because I wanted to bake or cough-cold meds because I'm sick. I come here because it's "convenient". Walgreens isn't my first choice to do some shopping, but in the back of my mind, I'm glad it's there when I need them. read more

I like this Walgreens. Its a very short distance from where i live which makes it convenient. Ive always had friendly people at the cash register and the pharmacy as well. There's also a lot places around Walgreens which again makes it very convenient. Every time I've needed something from Walgreens, I've gotten it. And for those that don't wish to go inside to the pharmacy, theres a drive thru service offered. That's also really convenient! read more
