Had message saying prescriptions were ready, went to pick them up, both were only partially filled (less than half of the prescription) Went back two days later, get behind one customer waiting at 1:25 pm, get to window at 1:28 pm to be told "we break for lunch at 1:30, come back later". The pharmacy just decided to close early! If you say your open until 6 pm, 5:55pm is not it!

Pharmacy patrons BEWARE! Inconsistent in what staff tell you regarding policies and inconsistent service. Sometimes you will get your medicine filled other times not. They don't carry much stock for many common medications and have to ship them in. "It's on backorder" is also a common excuse for delayed service. They've even given me a partial refill with the assurance I could pick up the rest when it was in stock only to be told later that "We can't fill partial orders" so I had to go with out one vital medication for several weeks. Pharmacy management is nowhere to be seen. read more

went to pick up a prescription the on line computer says is ready. The Pharmacy Tech says they have no record of this prescription and that I have to call the doctor to refill it (test strips). On line says I have 11 refills available. read more

Pharmacy customer service is very unorganized. They couldn't find my script. I had to have the nurse call them and give it verbally. Later in the day they called to tell me that my prescription was ready. I asked the person on the phone if they had a drive thru and she answered yes and they do not have one. read more

5 if they had 1 or 2 more ppl in pharmacy- but no complaints! Susan is always awesome and if we have to wait for medication, then that's just part of living in eldery community. I don't think they get enough credit for their daily hard work. read more

This place was a godsend. There were many of these on every corner but this one stood out. It had everything we forgot on our trip. We stopped at this particular Walgreens for sunscreen, hats, water, sodas, snacks. You name it we shopped for it here. We even bought a bottle of Patron here. We being from Oregon are not used to the convenience of being able to buy alcohol anywhere except at a state run liquor store. A great quick stop. read more

ARGH! Walgreens is the only pharmacy in town that does not take my insurance. I called them to see what plans they do take because I wanted to switch plans in order to fill at this location. I was on hold for a long time before anyone came on the line, and she asked me if would hold! I said no, I've been holding for too long. I asked her what AHCCCS plans they take and she said yes, all AHCCS. Wrong answer! They don't take all AHCCCS plans! That's why I was going to switch. I asked her to find out which plans and she put me on hold just to come back and tell me they don't take my plan. ARGH! When I asked her which ones they do take, she left me on hold again. I hadn't even gotten to my other question yet. But I popped onto Yelp while I was holding and in lieu of these other complaints I just hung up and decided to stick with what I have. Jeez, it's sad that a community full of retired folk doesn't have a single decent pharmacy in town. But at least CVS is tolerable if you can stand the lines. Otherwise, it's Walmart who fills scripts in their own sweet time, never same day even in an emergency, or Safeway who can't get anything done for a week. read more

In January, my insurance changed from AHCCCS to Medicare, and it is now cheaper for me to use Walgreens. I have been very pleased and thankful for the care and service I have received. I have multiple problems with medications, and the Pharmacist Kathy, has been SO helpful. She actually appears as if she really enjoys her job! I appreciate being able to say, that I can use my pharmacist as a resource person. It is appreciated. read more

My review is specifically for Andrew, the pharmacist. I was visiting family in Green Valley when I got a UTI. My brother in law first went to Andrew to ask his recommendation on OTC items that might help me and was quickly assisted. I was able to get my Dr to call in a script to the Kaiser pharmacy in CA for antibiotics. Kaiser gave me a telephone number for the Green Valley pharmacist to call in order to have the script transfered to the AZ location. My brother in law and I went back to the same pharmacy and when Andrew heard us telling the woman what needed to be done, he immediately took over. He did let me know the process may take up to a day to complete but he got right on the phone called the CA pharmacy. I was in and out of there with my ABX within 20 minutes! This could have been a miserable trip for me but Andrew ensured that I was able to enjoy my trip. ANDREW, THANK YOU SO MUCH! read more
