n June 11, 2026, I refilled my Eliquis prescription through the Walgreens website for mail-order delivery. On June 20, 2026, I called to check the status and was informed that it required authorization due to a high copay. No one from Walgreens had contacted me to request this authorization -- I had to initiate the call myself.I spoke with the pharmacist at 520-204-1092, who hung up on me during the conversation. When I called back, I provided the necessary approval for the copay. I was then told the medication would be delivered next week.As someone who takes Eliquis to prevent life-threatening blood clots and strokes, this delay and lack of communication caused me significant anxiety and distress. The pharmacist's rude behavior -- including hanging up and becoming offended when I expressed urgency -- made the situation even more upsetting read more

I just showed up at 1:27 and their lunch signs were already up... They couldn't even help me and I was the only one in line. This is not the first time this has happened... They still have three minutes to serve serve their customers, not very pleased. read more

I was having trouble getting a prescription refilled because the system kept showing that it was waiting for approval. When I visited the pharmacy, they confirmed that I still had one refill remaining and told me it would be ready the next day. Three days later, it still wasn't ready, so I returned to the pharmacy on Sunday. At that point, they told me they had the authorization but were waiting for a delivery scheduled for Monday. When I explained that I had already been waiting for over a week and had run out of the medication, they asked if I wanted it filled immediately--indicating that they already had enough supply to fill my prescription. What? Do they just not care at all about doing their job and want to push their work off to the next shift? Terrible service. And not the first time I've had very weird excuses for my prescription not being filled. read more

1 stars for the Pharmacy. We will never use this Pharmacy again. Our dog had Major surgery. It was Amazing what our doctor did for him. He is 168 lbs & had several masses/ growths on him that could never be removed before. One of the masses must have weighed at least 8 to 10 lbs the other one was about 4lbs & it was hanging from his stomache. He had an absessed tooth that had to be removed as well. 1 growth on his foot, tiny one on his face. He is 10 years old, which is older for a giant breed. The doctor said he did very well & gave us a pain medicine, antibiotics etc. but said because of the extent of his surgery we would need an additional pain med & had to pick that up at a pharmacy. His procedure was 2hrs long. He was there all day long. We stopped by Wallgreens on the way home because they were open later in the evening. The gal said it would take awhile to see if they had it. My dog was starting to pant very bad in the car while waiting so I asked if she could just call me as soon as it was approved. She said she would. She called back about a hr before they closed & said it was ready to pick up. I got in the car to pick it up & they called back & s a id sorry, it could not be picked up until they verified it with my Vet/ doctor. They said that medicine Tylenol with codeine could be harmful to pets. I explained that my Vet / doctor wrote the prescription & my dog just had Major surgery & needed the medication! The px is there verification​​. They refused & said they would call my Vet in the Am & let me know if we could get the medicine. My doctor already was closed for the night. I wrote them & explained the situation & could they please call Wallgreens in the Am 1st thing so our dog could get his medicine. He was up All night, which is horrible for his incisions! The whole point of the medicine is so he could relax & sleep & let his body heal. Our Vet was very upset that the Wallgreens Pharmacy took it on themselves to deny this px. that was filled out & signed by our doctor. They had no idea how big our dog was or what he had just gone through. He suffered needlessly All night & until 10:00 the next morning because of their decision. The Vet / doctor called them in the am & I guess let them know what they did was absolutely not OK!!! My doctor was very upset that our poor dog had to suffer... They could have at least given me a few pills to get us by if they insisted on getting verification from the doctor. They also made us wait until 9:30 to pick it up. They open at 8:00 am. They had it ready the night before because they had called for me to pick it up. Im pretty sure All the drugs they sale have side affects. I know this because of the countless commercials the TV plays telling All about them. Im pretty sure they are still giving the jab for Covid & we all know now what horrible things are happening to people from that. I will not be back to that Wallgreens. That is a shame because I used to go there a lot. ​ On another note though, the gal at the drive through was super helpful & got my husband coupon for the medicine. That is why I gave it 1 star. That employee is wonderful & should be commended! It is a shame the person in charge of the Pharmacy is making these bad decisions. read more

Absolute joke of a pharmacy. Staff is incompetent. Can't even understand them on the phone. Told me my Rx was out of stock and to call back the next day. I called and they said it is on the truck and will be there by 4:30. It's been 2 weeks. No meds. Take your Rx somewhere else read more

My son needed a passport for an upcoming high school trip, and we went to Walgreens to have his passport photo taken. It took about 15 minutes and cost ~$18. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. I highly recommend coming here for photo needs. read more

This is the best Walgreens in Sahuarita Green Valley area. They are friendly and helpful. Unlike Continental, they don't hang up on you!

I was told that my insurance was being reviewed. After two days I called and after 5 attempts finally got a human who told me to check with my insurance provider. After checking with them it proved to be ok, just Walgreens screwing with me. CVS here I come! read more

My mother is in a secure assisted living facility in Green Valley. I am her health's legal trustee living in Minnesota. I use Walgreen's delivery servlce (Uber). This is the second time that I clearly described/requested specifically that the medications MUST be delivered directly to the assisted living's staff....using their "Ring" door bell. As previously done, the Uber driver just left medications at the front door... exposed the high temperatures snd theft. NOT GOOD!!!. Problem is with Uber. read more

The pharmacy at this location is incompetent. Twice they have told me they would need to order my medicine. One was an epi pen (you can't wait for that) and the 2nd time was antibiotics for my son. Both times when I got out of the drive thru and went inside to question them about this they were able to fill the prescriptions. The staff is not trained properly and the pharmacist has no desire to help. So sad and frustrating. read more

The pharmacy is incompetent and have no problem shorting you of a product. Also they expect you to drive 40 miles for their mistake!

I've had a prescription sitting in the progress stage for two or three days and I can't get anybody to answer the phone and tell me what the problem is. DO NOT GET YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE! pharmacists are rude and they take their sweet time refilling life sustaining medicine. If you're going to be a pharmacy at least get the prescriptions ready on time when there isn't a shortage or any other factor delaying them. Walmart down the street is much faster and has better customer service. do better Walgreens. read more

The pharmacy is so incredibly mismanaged. There should be a law that if they are going to be giving Covid vaccines, they need to have 2 pharmacists present. The last 3 times I went there, the pharmacist priority was the vaccines and not filling (or approving what tech fills) urgently needed prescriptions. If the pharmacy has changed it's priority to vaccines over prescriptions, then they should tell customers that, so we can go elsewhere. Watching the pharmacist do vaccine after vaccine while I'm waiting an hour for her to sign off on a prescription that a tech filled was incredibly frustrating, and my husband needed his meds ASAP. The staff try their best. They are nice people. The pharmacy is grossly understaffed, both with only 1 pharmacist and not enough technicians. If they can't get a 2nd pharmacist, then don't give vaccines or send us elsewhere for our prescriptions. read more

This is my favorite of all of the Walgreens down in the Sahuarita/Green Valley area. The staff here is always extremely friendly and helpful (the ladies who work in cosmetics in particular). I have also had really great experiences with the photo department here. read more

The pharmacy is awful. They make mistakes on quantities of pills and prices and are rude when you question them. They don't know what OTC products they have only 10 feet away from the rx counter. read more

Maybe caught the staff on a bad day, but the people in the pharmacy were not friendly. Was told my prescription be ready in 15, when i showed up 20 minutes later they said it would be ready in a half hour. If your in a hurry dont bother filling up your prescription here. Might as well go next door to Walmart! read more
