I went in to purchase a glucose monitor on 1/7/26 and I believe his name is Gary, was so very helpful in assisting me with finding the monitor that I need. He showed great customer service! This is my prior review re: pharmacy I had been going to this pharmacy for over 10 years and had to move to another pharmacy, not Walgreens. They have gone downhill, signing me up for auto renewal when I've never done auto renewal and then they fill my scrip without my authorization and then send it back. Well, I didn't request to have it filled and then they fill it for 30 days instead of the regular 90 days that I've done for over 10 yrs. Then I call to speak to someone and a guy puts me on hold and never returns. Then call back and no one answers. No thanks, there is too much competition and the new pharmacy I've moved to is competent and not making these critical errors. I do understand now why Walgreen's has a bad reputation as far as pharmacy. read more

I used to live nearby here, and found myself driving by, and in need of a drink. I walked in and saw that they've changed all of the coolers to those ridiculous video coolers. I tried to find what I was looking for, opened two doors and realized that I didn't want to give my money to an establishment that decided that this was a good idea. I don't care how much time it saves with price changes (MAYBE CONSTANT PRICE CHANGES ARE THE ISSUE?!!!) it's ridiculous and it's what caused me to walk out of the store. Rushing over to get my moms medication because we had been calling all day to see if it had been filled , finally they told us it be ready by 4-430 , so we get to the pharmacy and the young lady with long dark hair assisted us and was very rude , we asked to use good RX even though the price was $12.39 which isn't bad but here in this economy every dollar counts and the receptionist was giving my mom attitude just because we asked to use good RX. We get it it's almost closing time but we have been trying to get my moms meds for over a week and for them to be rude to use when we finally get her medicine is not ok for us. The pharmacy is ran by the elderly and I was in line behind one car for 30 minutes. Happens quite frequently.

I took both my kids to the doctor and the doctor prescribed anabiotic but call them in at different pharmacies one at Walmart and the other at this Walgreens, the prescription was order at 10 AM Walmart pharmacy called me at 12:30 to let me know my prescription was ready so I called Walgreens thinking it be the same and they said it wouldn't be ready until after they had lunch. Terrible pharmacy. Order prescription 2 days ahead and get there and they don't have it ready and tell me to wait another half hour cause they are busy. Next time they can't find my order so tell me to get out of the line and come back soon Until they find it. This happened 3 times until finally the manager or whoever found it. read more

Well surprise surprise this Walgreens has a poor Yelp review. The pharmacy has messed my prescription up about five times now. The most recent boner these glorified pill counters pulled you ask? They gave me around 6 boxes of the wrong test strips . Do we apologize and fix the issue? Nah the middle eastern lady I didn't catch her name basically treated me like I was trying to scam drugs. Lol I need this stuff to live. I will be moving all my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Not that this company really cares but this is a cautionary tale for whom ever may stumble into this abysmal dumpster fire. read more

I visited this Walgreens on 3/9/22 to purchase a cosmetic that was on sale. I presented the cashier a coupon for $4.00 off that I printed from the website coupons.com. The cashier said I don't think we accept printed coupons only from the newspaper. I asked that she contact her manager and ask. She called him and he said NO we will not honor. No explanation, also there is nothing on Walgreens website indicating this. The manager on duty that day was Christopher Nelson. I suggest if you want to use a coupon from Coupons.com you go to CVS. Disappointment. I made a visit online for their health clinic. I went to check-in and of course it wasn't working. When I finally got it to work it said I was past my scheduled appointment time and couldn't check in. The next appointment was for 6 hours later. No one to ask for assistance. No one to help. I'll spend the extra money and go to an urgent care next time. No idea how this clinic is still open considering no one works there, apparently. read more

We switched to this location and it was good for a few months. Then the usual fare: Mistakes, lies about what our insurance covers, obstinacy not stocking our meds. Truth is that no one cares about anything. Underpaid, incompetent service yields the only result it can: frustration on all sides. We will switch to some other pharmacy but don't expect any miracles. By far worst pharmacy in Phoenix. Every time I come here the pharmacy staff acts like I'm bothering them. I tried to get antibiotics for my daughter and the staff member rolled her eyes and said "we don't have that script here" I said ok should I call the doc to make sure it was sent? She said no, you just have to wait and closed the window!! Then another time I came and was told to come back in 1 hour to get my script. Came back and she said "we didn't fill it because it needed authorization" I said ok well why didn't anyone tell me? She said it wasn't her problem. They are so rude I swear the don't want customers because they may have to do something... like their job ! Transferred all my scripts to cvs 5 more miles away just to not have to return here. Manager was really great, older gentleman in a pink beard. Me and my wife bought a great blood pressure cuff and after about a month and a half it just stopped working, well I had lost the receipt of course, and when I went to try and replace it, the manager let me! he was very helpful and very nice, so were the cashiers around him while I was exchanging! Horrible customer service told me oh well contact you insurance because they submitted it before making the changes in my health insurance leaving me with out my medication because my expired old was submitted as the primary my actual insurance as a secondary my primary won't cover it leaving me with out my Meds that cause heavy withdrawal symptoms for 2days. Not willing to try and call My insurance about there mistake: nothing main tech and pharmacist was extremely standoffish lacked empathy and rude as hell, my whole family went here we are all gonna change pharmacies now! Terrible customer service. I was hospitalized and needed to start meds on Easter Sunday, knowing that my regular pharmacy isn't open I thought i'd bring my Rx's here since they are the only place open. Well that doesn't seem to matter, I now remember why I had all my prescriptions moved from here to Target. Apparently with my medical insurance, I have a separate RX plan. I gave them the name and # of the plan, and they still refused to look up any information. Said that I needed to call, and then give and get the information. Without this info they refused to even fill my prescriptions. When I went to target, they looked up all the info for me, they just took my medical card. I explained I don't get a separate card for prescriptions and it was no problem. This is why Target pharmacy's are growing, Walgreens doesn't care about their customers, and in this day and age, customer service is everything. I will never return to this or any Walgreens. read more

This one star is for the photo department!!! I sent them 4 large poster through online last night. I called the store ask them if they are be able to get it done before they close the store. (It was around 8pm and they close at midnight)The woman who works at the photo department answered it didn't take too long so they were be able to print out those 4posters before they close .After an hour she called me back told me that she does not have enough papers to print all my poster. I was kind of upset. I asked her if she can do anything about it may be sent it to other location.she won't do it also there's no apologies and I even asked her for the inconvenience can she just discount the one she already printed and I will go online edit again then send it to the other store the second day to print rest of three ! Her answer was :"you can go to website edit again and send it to other store"She was so unprofessional and have a horrible customers Serivce ! Ugh. My wife and I are having a baby so we need to get certain vaccinations, so we scheduled appointments. When we got there, a sign on the counter said "Sorry we went home early". No notification, text, email, or phone call to tell us not to bother coming in. Then we get emails saying that we missed our appointments. So I came back in without an appointment, signed in, and I've been sitting here for 90 minutes now, listening to an incredibly unprofessional pharmacy staff making fun of customers. I cannot believe this place! My wife was five minutes late, only five minutes late and the doctor their refused to see her even when there was nobody there for a visit. The doctor said, I have to turn you down because it will take me awhile to put your information in. Seriously?!?! And then yet she turned another person down. How rude! The staff is rude uneducated and untrustworthy. Do not expect them to make you aware of a problem with your with your prescription. Call your doctor call yourself or insurance. They will not do anything they state they will do and for you. "not to worry we are taking care of it you have nothing to worry about" . PLEASE WORRY or you will end up with no prescription. They hire a bunch of uneducated simpletons with out the ability to critically think or even think it is scary that they ask them to fill your prescription. I suggest that if there is any kind of problem not resolved get very quickly ( I'm talking less than 24 hours) Call your own doctor call your own insurance company and resolve the problem yourself for when they say they will they are lying save yourself some time and aggravation. I've been trying for a WEEK to get my prescriptions transferred from one Walgreens in Mesa to this one. I've only ever been transferred to a stupid "care center" where they DON'T care and they're just another call center designed to give you the run around! They are claiming I have to actually CANCEL my prescriptions from my original/home pharmacy and then call them and have them filled, "if they have them". A few years ago, this would have been SO much easier. I tell them, hey, I'm on a trip, I need this one transferred to this location and BOOM it was done. Not now. SO very disappointed. Pharmacy has several times said they have not received scripts digitally sent from healthcare provider. From 3 different providers. Family practice, pediatric, and urgent care twice over past year. I know they cant all be the office's fault. Walgreens pharmacy and store has gone downhill. Wait times are ridiculous. Now having scrips sent to grocery store. They have same hours as walgreens. No more 24 hrs. Unless I am forced to ever go to one, I will no longer utilize walgreens.
