If I could give zero stars.... Seriously the most frustrating pharmacy I have ever had to deal with. EVERYTHING takes forever. Calling in something simple takes ages and you're on hold for easily 30-45 mins, and occasionally after waiting they hang up which is absolutely not infuriating at alllllll. Picking up prescriptions is a nightmare as well because it also takes forever. I feel badly for the people who work there because they are CLEARLY short staffed and overworked. Their prescription courier service is a joke! Last time I received my order plus a bunch of medicine that didn't belong to me. Hope it wasn't critical for whomever that patient was. This time around the order took a day and a half to get to me-i ordered it yesterday but it didn't go out for delivery until this AM I still don't have them and it's 5:15 PM. Thank God Walgreens isn't responsible for transporting patients to a hospital or organs to a hospital for transplant-you have dead people everywhere if that were the case. I've had several experiences with the photo section and they all have been good but this trip was exceptional. Honestly my favorite pharmacy probably ever, coming from someone who has an ungodly amount of prescriptions. They're always staffed well, pick up the phone nearly immediately, and get things done relatively fast. Me again with another update - (I hate what this Walgreens has turned me in to) Called at 5:50 pm asking if my prescription refill would be done by tonight, pharmacy staff said "we're really backed up right now but I can have it ready in 2 hours, but just so you know this is why we recommend refilling your prescription 3-5 business days, not until you've run out". Thanks dad, sorry, life happens and I ran out. I also want to point out that I did not once lose my cool. I was understanding, because yeah, I did forget to refill it before I was out. It's just the poor lack of customer service that gets me. I go to the pharmacy 2.5 hours later, I get told it's still in progress and won't be done until tomorrow afternoon. I explained to the tech at the window that a gentleman told me it would be ready tonight. She didn't say anything she just looked at me and shrugged. I told her I'd just come back. She just says ok thanks have a good night. No "I'm sorry", no eye contact. Nothing. I'm not a "Karen" I swear but this pharmacy has tested my last nerve read more

Every single time I come to pick up a prescription I wait at least 30 minutes, it does not matter when I come to pick it up it is never quick. Today I waited 50 minutes to pick up my prescription and that included a car leaving the line. I have never waited this long at any other pharmacy including other Walgreens pharmacy's. There is obviously something wrong with the manager in charge of scheduling or the lack of staff that this store has hired. This needs to be addressed because frankly it's absurd to think this level of customer service is okay. You should do better not only for your customers but also the staff on hand that are likely over worked and under paid just so someone else can meet quotas. The store is OK and the staff if friendly. The pharmacy is another story. I have reviewed this location before and it's only gone downhill. They are disorganized and don't seem to have enough staff. 9 times out of 10, they don't have the meds or they mess up the script but never notify the customer. read more

I switched from fry's to Walgreens like a year or so ago and my experience has been terrible. one of the first times I filled an important prescription, they told me it would be ready by a certain time(both), then when I take my lunch to go get it, they tell me one of them is out of stock and won't be in until tomorrow, then the other one will be ready by a certain time. I go to pick it up and they tell me they only have a certain amount and I'd have to get a partial prescription until I asked if they had a different brand and then I was able to get my prescription. I stuck it out though because of Talbera, who is the only good one working in there, but it hasn't gotten much better. when I call to make sure my prescription is in stock, it takes calling like 3 times and getting hung up on and sitting on hold. it takes days to fill prescriptions. they are very rude and don't care about your time at all. I get being shortstaffed and having to deal with angry customers, but that should not be an excuse to be rude. they just don't care. if you go through the drive through, it takes 45 minutes. if you go inside, it still takes at least 30 minutes to talk to someone. after I fill my last refill, I will be switching to a different pharmacy. very poor customer service, all aside from Talbera. he is amazing. I spoke to someone today 3/2/25 and she just didn't care that I waited on hold for 30 minutes and got hung up on per usual, she didn't care that they didn't have my medicine in stock, she didn't care to tell when they could possibly have it, I had to ask. she didn't care when I asked how to transfer it. they just simply do not care about you. very bad people. I didn't want to submit this review, but theres no defending this place. read more

Having continued great experiences with the pharmacy even, thru this pandemic. My home has multiple prescriptions with multiple people and, it gets complicated often. First my shout out goes to the pharmacist, Mobin. Mobin is an above the board, excellent human being who, cares about his store and patience of a saint. Stays on target and gets it done. The team, behind the counter, stays on task with his positive attitude. Their smile shows the customers a greatly appreciated relief that they have or will resolve the complications of our prescriptions. I think we all adventure that frustration Everyone. Should have known based on the crappy reviews not to come here, but how do you mess up filling a prescription?? Well, you take it, promise to fill it, and promise to call call if there issues and then promise it will be ready at a specific time. So I pack the truck up, head over to pick up the prescription, and after sitting in line at the drive through for what feels like an unreasonably long time I'm told that they don't have it in stock.... You couldn't have told me this when I handed you the prescription? You couldn't have called like you promised? I'll give the pharmacist credit for calling around and trying to find some, but you really need to replace the techs here. read more

Walgreens on 59th tried to tell me I could not get my flu shot on my Insurance. the "genleman":and "lady" pharmacists were not very nice. Finally, I left, went to one on Thunderbird and had no problems. I always seem to have 30 minute waits here, inside or outside. I need to move my presecriptions to pick up at anther location.. They seem to be very unorganized and unprofessional. read more

I have been going to this store many times and I've got to say if it wasn't for the employees that's up there daily keeping the store at top shape and the customers like me satisfied with the business so I definitely can give this establishment 5 stars. This location is kind of a cluster. There were several mix-ups with my medications as a new patient. I went several times and each time only got a couple of my prescriptions - not sure why they weren't all done at the same time. The last time I went in, the lady that helped me was amazing. I am legally blind, and when I walked in with my Guide Dog she immediately recognized that and made all the selections on the payment screen for me, and read everything it said. She was super helpful without being demeaning and I appreciate that. read more

I go to a few different locations and am still trying to figure out which one I want for my usual spot. I have been to this location a few times and have always liked the store staff more than the pharmacy staff- at this location. I was in line today, behind a customer having an issue with prescription pick up. When it was my turn, I noticed the person behind the counter's mood did not change at all. I guess I am just used to greeting people with a smile. Anyway, I carry my ID and card on my phone sometimes and had my phone in my hand so I could make my purchase for my prescription. I guess my phone made the alarm go off, and the lady just says it is your phone. I had no clue what she was talking about- but she made sure I moved my hands and phone from the counter. I ran into a crowded exit too- they have a bar separating the entrance and exit. There were two cashiers operating at the exit, so it was kind of blocked. I decided this is not the best location for me due to the entrance/exit and the pharmacy staff. read more

Walked in crying because my grandmother passed away last night on my birthday. I needed to her some old photos reprinted. The store manager Leslie came up and handed me a box of tissues and gave me a hug and let me know she was there for me. I've never had an employee of any store or in general treat me like that. Me and my girlfriend were shopping here at around 6:30pm on 05/17/2018. Everything was so nice until my girlfriend picked up a lipstick on the shelf. There was a voice across the store yelling "MAM...MAM. DON'T OPEN OR USE IT'. She's the cashier their, named Pina. We were like what the h3ll in the world she's doing? Shopping without touching anything? She, the cashier shouldn't even be in customer service industry. She has bad attitude towards customers. She looks at everyone like they were thief. This Walgreens always takes forever with prescriptions. I am my aunts caregiver and this place always takes forever to fill a prescription.

Hands down the best pharmacy staff in the glendale area. They are knowledgable and efficient. They do flu shots. The store has tons of stuff that you don't need. I love that Walgreens lets you upload photos and have them printed so you can just swing by pick up and pay. Good soda and snack selection if you are being bad on that diet. read more

Today's date is February 19th 2021 and the time is 11:28 a.m. and I just left Walgreens located on 58th and Peoria in Glendale Arizona about 10 minutes ago . so that would make the time about 11: 18 am . one tall white guy and one short Mexican guy that was working in photo seems like they really didn't want to help me. The Mexican guy asked me can I help you with a little aggressiveness behind his voice and then the tall white guy eventually had to give me directions to tell me how to operator the photo machine when I asked him to help me and when I was expecting him to be a little more kinder. he just made me feel like that he didn't want me there and that it was a problem him helping me . then he walked away and continue to do what he was doing and left me sitting there wondering how to operate this photo machine. And the Mexican guy continue to help the other Mexican customer. So that's when I got up and made my exit out of the store and decided to write on Yelp how I was treated to let others African American be aware of the treatment that you might get at this location. There is no African Americans that works there on-site. But they make sure that the whites and the Mexicans are out there in front where everybody can see them and then they want to treat you bad while taking our money. I'm asking everyone that reads this to pray for Walgreens location at 58th and Peoria in Glendale Arizona 85304. That tall white guy with the glasses that's real Slim seems like the manager but treated me like I was a problem. But that is okay because God gets the last word far as I'm concerned and I am a child of God so I will continue to pray for that store Walgreens and the people that work for it that they may be a little more nicer and kind to all people instead of just they own kind. Staff is helpfull. Store is clean and organized. Pharmacy staff is not so organized. So now I call before I go in to verify.

The other day I needed some cough syrup and nothing else. Park right by the front door, in, find what I want easy, pleasant check out, and I'm back on the road. In the 10 years this store has been on one of the optional paths home I've stopped in a half dozen times. Always for one or two items like cold medicine or a greeting card. The store has always been labeled well so I can find the correct aisle quickly. read more

I have been in this store a lot lately getting pictures printed for Christmas presents I am making. The entire team has been so helpful. Patrick, the manager on duty is amazing. They are awful horrible humans that work in the pharmacy. Today the computers were down but i could go on and on about how rude the pharmacist is. They have no empathy nor do they ever apologize for their mistakes. Today, the manager chris acted as it was my fault. They are supposed to close at 8:00 pm but I have been there on more than one occasion and they were walking out the door at 7:55pm. They didn't say anything about the computer being down last night they filled 2 of 3 prescriptions(they were filling one while he waited and handed him 2 NEVER TELLING HIM ABOUT THE 3RD ONE, WHICH IS THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE. This one star is not because they no longer carry what the prescription I got from the Urgent Care called for. They can't help it if corporate decides not to carry a certain item anymore, so I don't blame them. What I do blame them for is the customer service. I guess I should apologize for trying to pick up prescriptions when the guy who was supposed to be working the counter was having a conversation with someone else leaving the person working the drive thru to help me instead, which very much seemed to ruin her day. Excuse me for being sick with a respiratory infection and wanting to wait for my medicine so I can take it right away. Excuse me completely for being a customer at all since I was apparently bothering you. I sincerely miss the location at 67th and Peoria. That pharmacy was so nice and I rarely had a problem, and ever since I had to switch to this one since the 67th location closed down it's just been one long, long, long wait after another. Long waits in the drive thru, long waits inside, long waits to get prescriptions refilled. The other location never had this much trouble with my medicine and since I tried Fry's pharmacy before I went to this location and experienced similar problems, I have to assume this is just the norm now. So excuse me for just wanting a little common courtesy when I've been coughing all weekend and am exhausted from a day of work and trying not to cough a lot in public so I don't embarrass myself. I guess I should have known better than to expect that much since no pharmacy I go to anymore seems to like or want to help any of their customers and can't be bothered to keep things straight. read more

One star doesn't even begin to tell you how poor the establishment is. This is now the second time I've had a 300$ prescription miscounted, miscounted by 20 pills in a script that should be 30 the worst part is because of the prescription is one that is monitored, so I can't just get another script filled. The pharmacy staff doesn't know how to count pills or answer calls. It makes me wonder if they're competent to give me the right medication.
