Good thing I called like my husband said the next day because it wasn't ready until 2 pm because apparently the shipment had just showed up ironically when I called at 12. THEN I go a week later to get my medication that was supposed to be ready the day my doctor put it in but it wasn't so I went the next day and got asked if I had insurance which I do. I gave her my card that she asked for and she took 5 minutes to look my card around and around like it was rocket science to then tell me that I need to have a pharmacy card. I have never ever been told that my whole 25 years. So I asked why I can get my daughter's medication no problems but there's an issue with mine and it's under the same insurance and everything. She couldn't answer and was proceeding to tell me how she was trying to help yet she wasn't because she wasn't answering any of my questions and was belittling me. Mind you all I had was an anxiety medication I have picked up before in this same insurance and a stomach medication that my doctor told me if they give me issues about it just say no thank you and get over the counter meds. I called my doctor and told them to send my meds to CVS and told them exactly what happened and even they are dumbfounded and gladly sent it somewhere else. I'll gladly never go to this Walgreens again and I don't regret one word I said during that interaction.

When I got to the Walgreens, there was a sign saying they were closed for the day because the pharmacist was out. really? They only have one pharmacist on staff? I was told to drive really far away to get my prescriptions. This is extremely inconvenient for someone who just had a heart attack and lives in over 100 degree weather. I went ahead and told the pharmacist at the other place that I only wanted it for one month and that the other location was my main location, and they said no worries. Fast forward till today. I called in plenty of time to fill one of my prescriptions. All wrong info GIVEN to me over the phone about my refills. I was told it would be ready at 2 o'clock. Ha! it's already a 100° in Phoenix and I'm not feeling that great to begin with. Remember, I had a heart attack a month ago. Be sympathetic health care workers. So I drive all the way there at 3pm. I AM waiting in a long line and they don't have my prescription ready. They tell me it's a mistake it is at other location. 3 hour wait if I want it there. "Why,I asked? "I called here. No answer given. The pharmacist then comes over and argues with me about one of my other prescriptions and how I'm taking it wrong. Grrrreat. I TOLD her the bottle said this and she says no it does not..Ummmm.yes it does. Verified again. She pretty much called me a.liar. Sheesh waaaa? Last Pharmacist was very rude too. I am going to fax her a photo of the bottle. She continued to say it did not. GUESS WHAT Lady? IT DOES. I drive all the way over to the other location with no AC in my car. During my wait I get sick and am not feeling well. I have to wait again in line to get my prescription barely able to stand up to be told that my prescription cannot be transferred back to the other store for next time. It has to stay on file at both locations and is my responsibility to make sure I am calling the correct one. Ummmmmm!. I was. smdh The person then tries to argue with me when I told him I never even called this location. Treats me like a 5-year-old. Says, "make sure you tell them it's at the other location,"Dude how did you even get involved, you are not my store? Again, tells me it cannot be deleted out and is my responsibility.ummm????? I did not even call this store. i am still upset that the pharmacist was totally calling me a liar about what my medication bottle says. I'm actually going to be sending her a copy of the directions on the medication bottle. Listen Walgreens. I get you are busy and people are phallable, but really? This is not the way to treat somebody who's sick. Or anyone for that matter. I am educated and an ex Health care professional. Imagine a person who is not aware or illiterate? People are sick and not at their best. Do better it is literally your job to help sick people. Stop being jerks. Onto finding a new pharmacy. By the time I got home, I was having chest pains and had a hard time breathing shameful!

So basically we learned that if you're parking in the Cityscape garage to go to the Cityscape there's a secret path to the Cityscape minus signage! Once you park there's a shortcut you can take if you walk through the CVS to the other side, then bam you'll magically appear in the Cityscape! Oh how easy a few signs for guidance could make our lives a little less frustrating but thanks to nice cashiers we figured out how to get to the Cityscape!

This is a very busy park area due to high traffic. The side of this Walgreens is not the largest but they are well stocked. With me in Phoenix for a day and the rising temperatures, I had to get some cool drinks from a local store. I was only familiar with 7-Elevens, but I wanted to try out Circle K. There was a Circle K near the Super 8 Motel. I got thirsty after my day around Phoenix going from one bar, headed back to my room, and need something to sober up. The store is just like a 7-Eleven. The store sells propane and they have a Blockbuster Kiosk which seems to be popular when I drove up. In fact, I didn't see to many Blockbuster Video stores or any kind of video stores. I walked in and it had a typical setup of the soda fountain machines and cold storage areas. I got two 1 liter Arrowhead ($1.69). If you get two, its 2 for $2. Also, I got two Powerade drinks ($1.89). If you get two, its two for $2.50. I forgot that I was not in CA and there is no CRV fee. Go Arizona!! My total was $4.59. Nothing special besides the Blockbuster Kiosk machine. Oh yeah, I forgot Redbox serves most 7-Eleven. How is it CA gets the red kiosk when its a Democratic State versus Arizona getting Blockbuster blue kiosks when its a Red State...lol. On a final note, Circle K has a special on soda fountain drinks called the Thirst Buster 32oz and 44oz for only $0.79. Not freaking bad!! The Yelp Universe. Where are you traveling today?

this pharmacy is typically where I go every time I want to get some aspirin. I usually get pretty bad headaches when I'm at work. Maybe that is a sign that I need to get a new job lol. But until I can find a new job I guess I'm stuck working at this job that gives me a headache. So I typically stop at the CVS to try to buy the things that I need to make sure I don't have a headache the people that work behind the counter do not always seem like they care. Don't get me wrong they're not terrible or anything like that but they just don't seem like they're all too interested in helping the customers when they walk in the store. I would give this a negative if possible. I was on hold for 30 minutes. No answer. This store has always had long wait times on the phone. This is unacceptable and this will be the last RX I will fill at CVS. OH and there was never an answer. 30 minutes no contact. Sad and disappointing read more

They stand between customers, pharmacies, and medical insurance companies. A CVS or Walgreens has lots more leverage than, let us say the former Fairmont Pharmacy at Central Ave and Camelback Road. They were not getting paid by PBM's. Speaking of CVS, in 2025, my health insurance informed me my usual medications were required through CVS mail services. I now get my monthlies from a robot pharmacy near Chicago. Sweet D has been talking about visiting Melrose since Fairmomt closed. Being a stubborn guy, we never came in until April, 2026. I always need Cal Mag Zinc, Potassium, various stop the runny nose, etc. supplements. Plus a cool gift now and then. Melrose has all these, plus any out of the ordinary meds I may need. And...Our familiar faces from Fairmont found a new home. This is outstanding. I do not want thousands of small, independant, cool local pharmacies, family businesses, to be crushed by unbridled capitalism. Capitalism needs a bridle, starting with taxing obscene profits, like the $30,000,000 A MINUTE! being made by Immense Oil as the Strait of Hormuz is shut down and our President keeps his campaigning promise to deliver $100,000,000,000 if The Industry supported his re-election with $1,000,000,000. While I never get the promised call to let me know that my prescription is ready, they are usually quick and efficient. I have actually had all of my regular (non-compound) prescriptions transferred from one of the big box pharmacies. While they don't have the ability to order online like the competitors, they are a small business that I feel good supporting. The staff is friendly and professional.
