This review is mainly about the pharmacy. I've been using this pharmacy for years and the customer service has consistently gone down hill. I have to call to fill my prescription every month due to regulations, and I have been kept on hold for 45 min or more on multiple occasions, having to physically drive to the pharmacy to get in touch with someone at times. Recently, the person couldn't find my prescription without my 37 suggestions and prompts to find it, just to have her tell me that my insurance denied the second prescription I needed to pick up. I asked her why it was denied, to which she just said, I dunno, call your insurance. I asked her how much it would be for cash pay, which caused her to share that the prescription was denied refill, not coverage. So I asked well that sounds like a doctor denial, not insurance. She went and asked, yup, it was a doctor denial, not insurance. Thank goodness I asked the right questions, who wants to go on a wild goose chase with insurance. I told her that the new script should be arriving soon since I had just had an appointment that day and that I would follow up with them. I go to pick up my prescription today, arrive at 1:26, i know they close for a meal break at 1:30, and I hate to be that person, but it was the soonest I could get there and I knew it would be a quick pick up! There was another patient in the drive thru and at the counter inside. The other car in the drive thru left, right after I pulled up, and the technician looked right at me through the window and turned to go take care of other stuff, I waited and then when it hit 1:30, another employee walks to the window, looks right at me and closes the blinds! I pressed the call button and a woman answered after several rings with a "we close at 1:30". I said, I understand that, I arrived before 1:30 and I wasn't served. She basically answered with, tough luck! I told her about the car in front of me and how the employee closed the blinds on me and she was just like, welp, I'm sorry, come back at 2. I was so upset! My doc has been saying for years how much she despises this Walgreens and has been trying to get me to change to a different pharmacy, maybe it's time. Side note, there have been great experiences at this Walgreens as well, but the negative experiences are just piling up too high to ignore. read more

Whoever manages this Walgreens should be fired. It is constantly understaffed, employees do not care about customers and EVERY time I have to do something at the photo counter I am waiting for 10 minutes to get help and I have to go find someone and ask for it. Sometimes it's that they genuinely do not have staff other times it's because the employees just see you and don't care because it's not their job. read more

My periodontist called in a prescription on Monday for pain. The pharmacy said they were out of that medication and it would probably be there a couple days later. It is Saturday night, they still haven't filled it and I am in a lot of pain. I will be transferring all my prescriptions to another pharmacy. Was in the phone with my daughter when she went through the drive thru for her prescription. They were extremely rude and unprofessional. The lady was very condescending towards my daughter and while we were still on the phone, I said to my daughter, "well she's rude!" The lady said excuse me? Of course my daughter was embarrassed that the lady heard me but the employee quickly changed her tone. You shouldn't have to call them out in order for them to be polite, provide good customer service skills and do their JOB!!!! read more

I had a horrific experience at this Pharmacy, 11/07/2024. 785 S. Cooper Rd. The Pharmacist would not fill my prescription, even after 2 of my Doctors sent legitimate electronic prescriptions. I spent the entire day attempting to bow down to this Pharmacist's request. I actually spent time divulging medical information to this Pharmacist, in which she had no business knowing of in the first place. There was no reason for her to deny me of my prescription when I was standing there with an obvious broken wrist. I jumped through her hoops she established, and was still denied filling my prescription. Was this due to my wearing a MAGA hat at my initial prescription pickup? Review the camera footage here. Wow been going here ten plus years. Just wanted to drop off script for colonoscopy stuff. Rang the bell to send tube like I always do and just leave. They wouldn't listen to me kept cutting me off then got loud with me. Manager comes tries to bully me not happening. I recorded. The district manager that calls me later is saying he wasn't six feet away from me at any point by her video. You decide. Looks like six feet to me and he wouldn't stop. No wonder why they have like no stars. The lady was so rude on the phone about her employees and talked down to me also. Walgreens is the new circle k. Maybe cvs is more like quick trip now. I've done a little bit of everything here - grocery items, inside pharmacy, drive through pharmacy, redbox, picture pickup, etc. Store has always been clean and cashier friendly. Prices are a little above what you'd pay elsewhere especially for food items. For medical supplies I've had mixed reviews. Sometimes the prices are great. Other times the prices are ridiculous. Sometimes they dont carry common things. Sometimes they carry things that nobody else does. read more

I live right down the street from this Walgreens and seldom come for more than prescriptions but today I took my girls to pick up some press on nails they had been dying for. We made it to the counter and Liz mentioned there was a whole other section we missed. She said she'd check us out and let us browse and we could exchange if we needed to. We came back with a swap and she wasn't even on the register anymore but enthusiastically hopped on to assist us. My little girls even commented on how bubbly and friendly she was. If I could give 0 stars I would. My physician called in a few prescriptions for me. I went to pick them up (called ahead to make sure they were ready) and the pharmacist (manager pharmacist) said she would only fill 2 of them. I asked her how she has the authority to override my physician that knows me and knows what I need. So I told her to cancel one of them and give me the other 2. She said I would have to wait another 30 minutes. So I circle back 30 minutes later and she said I called her a bad name when I left. I DID NOT call her a bad name. I did say it was horrible that she can make healthcare decisions for me when she's not my provider and does not know me. So she was power hungry and said she would not fill anything. I asked her to give me my scripts so I could go elsewhere and she refused. I don't understand our healthcare system at all. Do not fill your prescription here! Today was the last straw. I called in my refill on Saturday. It is now Wednesday. The recording said it would be ready on Monday. I show up today and only one of the two is ready. The other is coming from their warehouse. This was never communicated. This is bull! It shouldn't take this long to get a refill on a common thyroid medication and this isn't the first time that has happened. Plus, the one day I pick up my script and one of the meds they didn't run through insurance. I've been coming here for several years why skip the insurance! Another time they had my info linked to another account. Still not sure what happened there. I hope someone didn't fraudulently set up an account in my name. The address they had on file was a place I have never lived at. I was so disgusted today, I told her to put them both back that I was going to CVS. I even said the two words I hate to hear "you people" See what they've made me become! I've lowered myself to those awful two words. I was holding off on using Amazon pharmacy but I will once I need another refill. I wanted to support local but not of they can't get their crap together. I pay about $30 for both scripts. My 1 year old grand daughter had croup. An after work trip to All Kids Urgent care where the NP there was rude and condesending gave a paper prescription that had to be hand delivered to a pharmacy, only wait an hour at least to fill it (they wouldn't call it in)! After sitting in line behind 8 other cars at the Walgreens on Greenfield(because its the only 24 hr one), the car had only moved two spots because two pulled out and left disgusted. No one would answer the phone at that location. I called the Cooper/Warner location where I get my own prescriptions filled and the Pharmacist on duty was George. He was super helpful and nice. I explained our situation. Single Mom, one baby sick with croup/stridor and another school age child that needed to get to bed. He said bring it over and I will get it filled before ten but I'm backed up here too. She brought it right over to him and came here and fed the baby, gathered her other child and is headed home at 9pm. Thank you to George... and Walgreens hang on to this guy! read more

Whenever I want photos, this is the place I go to. There is always some 40% or more off photos or so with regards to individual pictures. I used to do Costco, but I hate fighting the crazy SUV drivers there and usually for under $20, I'm going to go to somewhere close. This Walgreens does 4x4 photos, which sometimes I order. The quality of the photos are fine. And often the photos are used as Thank You's for things or for little projects. I can't speak about any other parts of Walgreens like the pharmacy as I only use the Photo Department, but this part is great! I usually get my photos within an hour or so, which is me usually doing these things at the last minute. Walgreens photos is a lifesaver for me. read more

The store under-staffs front end checking staff creating chronic long lines, which is why I have stopped shopping here. To me, the benefit of a convenience model store is that the increase in price point of merchandise (vs. a big store I.e. Walmart or Target) is outweighed by the convenience and time save. However, having waited in lines over 20 minutes in my last 5 trips this is not the case. Now with the holidays it's only increasing. Why not properly staff your store and run two cashiers when the need is obviously there? Staff cannot he found within the store, photos, electronics, etc. either to assist. Given these factors I'm making the decision to transfer my prescriptions as well. Not a good experience for a long-standing Walgreens customer. read more

Anyone else find that all drug stores these days just make you spend money? I went in for one little thing, and walked out with all kinds of crap I had no intention of buying, and probably over paid for anyhow. Well done Walgreens, we shall meet again, and now I'm onto you. This is just one of a billion million Walgreens out there,and it does nothing to stand out. The staff is always just friendly enough that you can't complain, without ever making you feel special. It's usually pretty clean and well stocked. The pharmacy has always been fairly quick when I'm getting a prescription filled, and the pharmacist will answer any questions you have. Their big plus is they are 24/7, so you can always get some emergency NyQuill or whatever you need. read more

This take care clinic is a joke. I pre registered only line for an appointment time but still spent over an hour waiting. After all of that I still wasn't able to be seen due to "issues inputting my insurance in this system" which I had already done online. She couldn't tell me if it was because they didn't accept my insurance or if it was an issue with the computer database. I had to end up going to a different pharmacy clinic. read more

The five stars are for the pharmacy at this location. Lamontae and the other younger guy are awesome. I must use this Walgreens a lot because they both greet me by my first name every time I walk in which is nice. When an employee takes the time to remember your name it's a nice personal touch that I enjoy. I am always welcomed with a smile and friendly attitude when shopping here or picking up medicine. The store is like every other basic Walgreens. This location has a minute clinic with a PA who can take care of most basic health needs. The pharmacy has a drive up window if you don't feel like going in the store. I like how it's open 24/7 both the store and pharmacy. read more
