The Walgreen store itself is fine. But the pharmacy. The worst. I had an appointment and I didn't get seen untill 45 minutes later. They have like 5-6 people behind the counter. Then theres the guy that works behind the counter (not the the guy in the white jacket he's actually friendly), in the gray scrubs and is short. He's rude. This pharmacy is ALWAYS understaffed. I was waiting in the drive through line for an HOUR (from 10pm-11pm) and when I finally got up to the window the person only had 1 Rx ready out of 6! And it's not even their fault. The staff is wonderful & pleasant. The pharmacy is the worst if you don't have time to wait on your prescriptions. I don't care what time of day it is. One person in front of you 20mins waiting. Very convenient that it's 24 hours! I've used Walgreens many times at 2, 3, 4 in the morning! Specially when my kids were babies! Very convenient, and the hours open are great for new mommys! You never know when that unexpected trip to the E.R. comes up and you need meds! The pharmacists are very nice, and helpful in answering any questions! To the Pharmacist who I spoke to on 2/15 around 10:00pm. First off, if you've had a bad day I'm sorry, I know life isn't easy. I don't know if you've ever personally dealt with Mental Illness but it's no walk in the park. Some days it's hard about to get out of bed and then we have to be on meds we don't want to be on in the first place. So to call and have to ask for a second emergency medication and be told it's available to pickup and then to show up and be treated with such attitude is heartbreaking. For you to accuse me of trying to get extra pills that I'd rather not take in the first place was not ok. I've been out for a few days and am getting quite sick without them. Something I wish I didn't have to even deal with. Life is hard enough and then to add rude treatment like this in moments of hardship and desperation is just not ok. Life is hard enough, maybe instead of meeting people with accusations and attitude try some empathy and kindness for the people behind the glass. You never really know how low somebody already is. Worst customer experience in my whole life. Here is my plain story with no emotion. I ordered gift card online, and received a pick up email. I drove there and give the old man my name for the order. He took a look and directly told me "I am canceling your order. You can not buy gift card online. They must got the website wrong again. Also, my night shift guy did so wrong to fulfill this order. But you have the choice to buy again right here with cash or debt card with pin." OMG! Readers, please use your own common sense. I have been going to this local Walgreens for a decade. I have seen several changes of employee's and management from time to time. In the recent month, I have been disappointed. Not by the quality of items but by the management staff personal. The lack of management in the pharmacy and also the disinformation on pricing and receipts. One young gentlemen by the name of Efrain. A staff member. I am shocked by the extremely unprofessional, unpolished attitude and far from customer service approach. After my several encounters with him and observation - from myself, my mother and husband. A person as himself, in his position and with the current economy, lack of jobs and unemployment. Would be wise enough to adjust himself and take consideration of who is he and his status before acting of out professionalism and character in the outside world and his daily customers. After giving the store manager - Raymond G. LeMay III. A call to address my concerns. After leaving several voice messages the past two months. I have not received any answers. Based on how this Walgreens is managed. The professionalism and aggression of the employees. The inventory of this location. I do expect this manager to be professional in his role or well equipped to solve my concerns. I have given up and let it go. Again, I have seen several different managers running this location for years. I don't recommend this Walgreens would be a good place going forward to your daily items, pharmacy needs or vaccinations. read more

Walgreens needs to hire more people to help in the drive thru this is ridiculous waiting 30-45 in line to get to the window for them to tell you that your medication is not ready and you need to wait 25 more min and get out of line wait and get back in line or get off the car and wait inside. I had to come here around 12:30 AM after a ER trip and I really did not want to go to the pharmacy that late but it was mandatory. As I prepared for the pharmacy to take a while longer. Very incompetent pharmacist, my dentist called in a prescription and kept insisting i am not covered. She is asking me to pay the full price, so i called express scripts and confirmed that i am covered and i have to pay only $10.00. Thus i requested my dentist to just call in the prescription at CVS and I was able to get it without any problem. I hope your facility can investigate on errors like this. I came in here during that steal of a deal on the Wet n Wild brushes. Retailed at $30 on sale for $15. I had gone to other stores prior to this one and hadn't seen it still mid week during the week of the deal. Finally I stopped by this Walgreens since this is my local Walgreens. While I walked in looking for the brushes I was also online on their web page to see if it was something I could order online. Lucky enough it said it was in stock to order online. The associate who helped me was nice enough to do the order in store and told me to wait a few days for the confirmation. The day after I made the order I looked online and saw this store says it has 5-10 in stock. I called the store immediately to see if they had received a shipment in stock for these brushes. I swear I was so upset by the remark I didn't remember to ask for this associates name. The associate I spoke to over the phone had actually responded to me with this when inquiring about what the online site said they had in stock. AND I QUOTE: "It says we have 5-10 in stock but that's because employees are holding on to them to purchase for themselves. You're best bet to find those brushes are through a third party where they are probably selling it for $40-50 bucks. Good Luck since they are SOLD OUT everywhere in the southern california region." I mean... really??? I've worked in retail and understand the numbers could diff from the site vs whats actually in stock. That is the reason for me calling in. But to get that type of explenation from the woman employee is very unprofessional and very unacceptable. I was so upset I hung up and vented off to my husband about the response. So about almost a week after I had made the instore order, since I had no confirmation of shipment, I decided to call the store again to check on its status. I spoke to the Assistant Manager on duty who gave me the steps on how to find the order on the receipt since she could not look it up herself on her side. I called the 1800 only to be told they actually cancelled the order since they oversold what they really had in stock. Upset of course... I called back the assistant manager and told her what the employee had told me the week before and how her response to me was super unprofessional. I truely wish I had asked for the name but I was so appauld by the answer that I hung up not thinking twice to ask for her name. Although my brushes order didn't work out for me. The reason I even considered giving this place 3 stars is because of the professionalism the Assistant Manager had to her response on the situation as well as helping me find out about my order. If I hadn't spoken to the AM about this matter...I would say this store deserves 0 stars NOT EVEN 1 if it wasn't for the assistant manager herself. Overall I hadn't had any other problems here aside them not being able to return and let me rebuy an item since it was not originally purchased here. I find it interesting how one person says its ok but another doesn't. Here I am at the drive through at 2:42 am (yes in the middle of the night) for an urgent prescription. I googled the nearest 24 hour location which was 7 miles from my house that means 14 miles round-trip I get all the way over here lights are on and guess what nobody's home!!! WT HELL!! What the hell do you call yourself a 24 hour pharmacy when you're not open 24 hours. Absolutely horrible. No sign on the window or nothing just not here. Attempted to pick up prescriptions and was told my card was "too worn out" to charge. When I inquired as to if they could run the card manually they refused. I've never had any problems here. The employees and pharmacists are always very kind and efficient. You'd be surprised at how much variety they have in store. I came here to get some prescribed medications for a UTI and some tea tree oil for my nose piecing. The best thing is, they have a drive thru window so you can get your medication 24/7. read more

I dropped off two prescriptions there today. One Was a controlled med and the other was prednisone. I was they would be ready by 4pm. I came back at 520pm and was given 5 prescriptions I didn't ask for they just add everything to auto refill. I was told they need to have my doctor call to verify my script for pain meds. I said ok, and went home. I didn't get the prednisone I needed but Got a lot of stuff I didn't need. I called the pharmacy and the recording said they were waiting for insurance approved when I did talk to someone I told her to tell the pharmacist that I pay cash. Right then AI the pharmacist gets on the phone yelling I told you we need to get approval from you doctor I tried to talk but she just got loader yelling and assuming I called for my drugs I'm sure she was looking at me like a drug addict. She isn't much of a pharmacist, they don't need to contact my doctor unless the script is not read able or somethings missing. If a pharmacist believes there's Drug abuse going they Can call the DEA and report it if every thing is on the script they need to fill the script, she's a pill pusher not a cop. Finally I got To speak and told her your recording said you were waiting for insurance and what I called for is that they didn't fill the prednisone then she said you were talking about Percocet I said yes only because of what you're recording said. But what I called for is my prednisone she said I never dropped off a script for it I said yes I did and you lost it. She just couldn't believe they misplaced a script just kept on that I didn't turn it in. My opinion she should be let go. I felt like a tweeker after listing to her go of. Most people on pain meds need them and shouldn't have to deal with a person like AI just to get your meds. I have had 6 joints replaced and lost my left elbow to infection. I hate giving poor reviews but this experience hit me wrong. Now I have to drive back to the doctors to get a new script for prednisone and make sure they call this pharmacy read more
