I don't blame the employees in the pharmacy. I blame Walgreens (Rite Aid) corporation. There are reasons why the feds had to bail them out in their October bankruptcy. This year they will close 1,200 stores. This store in Frisco has some great employees (Laurence and Mounika) but all are set up to fail. Today, after a 45-minute wait, I was told there was a problem "with insurance." Never mind I had already waited ten days for this drug that was "out of stock." Never mind I it was a refill that was paid for by insurance less than 60 days earlier. Every experience is painful. Walgreens (Rite Aid) should understand that when you have to post a corporate sign imploring customers not to get frustrated with their employees because "someone loves them at home"---well, you're a failing company. This company can reorganize and get $3.45 billion (yes, with a "b") bailout---but until it focuses on the simple mission of providing pharmacy services quickly and professionally---it will be back in reorganization in short order. read more

They call you, then just hang up. Call them back, and waited in for 20 minutes. Finally, it was my turn, then they wouldn't answer the phone. I was going to switch my scripts to this pharmacy. I am going to have to rethink that. Coit Road in Frisco read more

It's now been 35 minutes in line at the drive through. There were 4 cars in front of me when I got in line. There's now one. It's not lunchtime. Why does it ALWAYS take so long at this store? Time to move my scripts to another pharmacy read more

At this pharmacy, the staff show no consideration for customers. Despite there being few customers, they still give unreasonable wait times such as tomorrow or three hours. I informed them that I had been without my medication for two days and needed it urgently, but they responded with attitude. Eventually, they said it would be ready in an hour. As a loyal customer of Walgreens for many years, I have never experienced such poor treatment. read more

It's a Walgreen's. Retail clerks always friendly so give all the stars to the staff. Same with the pharmacy, always informed and willing to help. Only drawback is for some of my prescriptions they sometimes don't have them and take a while to get them. Only other thing is for convenience items like soda or grab n go items the prices are prohibitive, but that's any Walgreens or CVS or 7-11 open 24hrs. read more

I want to start off by saying that I respect those working hard during these troubling times. However, I have ALWAYS experienced the worst service here. They are so slow and the wait is so long. I can't even express my annoyance in words. I waited for 45 minutes to pickup a prescription that would normally be an 8 minute process at places like CVS and Kroger. Whatever you do.. do NOT give this Walgreens business.. unless you enjoy waiting for insane amounts of time. read more

This is a very nice, very well-run store. The employees are all very professional. I pick up a lot of FedEx packages from this location. One employee in particular is extremely helpful. She looks younger, has slightly darker hair and wears glasses. She usually works the FedEx area, but she might also be a manager. She has EXCELLENT customer service skills and always goes the extra mile helping me with the FedEx boxes. A big thanks goes to her and the rest of the staff! read more

Writing this review specifically for the photo centre . Very helpful staff at the location . She gave me accurate information over the phone too . We were done with taking pictures and out with prints in less than 15 minutes . Surprisingly moderately priced than any other Walgreens/ cvs locations . The nice lady even printed out my baby's passport pictures from the ones I clicked at home ( a service that was denied by other locations claiming that the size / light etc wasn't proper ) . I wish this was closer to my home to be listed as my pharmacy -on-file . Would surely recommend read more

A very well run store where they always greet you when you enter and leave the front entrance. Donna and the rest of the pharmacy staff are all outstanding to deal with. Oh and if you're a football fan, most of them are as well. Donna is from New Orleans and a huge Saints fan, so if you know anything about them, she will be your new best friend. Have never had an issue in the pharmacy of prescriptions not being ready when they said they would be. Don't really go to the other Walgreens location in Frisco, which is open 24 hours, because this one is so close to the homestead. But I have never had a bad experience here since it opened nearly four years ago if I'm not mistaken. It's a nice, clean store with friendly employees and great service, no that's not too much to ask these days. read more

Stood here at pharmacy for ten mins, no one in line.no acknowledgement of "we will be right with you" or anything. Employee walked by to go grab a drink outside of the pharmacy, nothing. I don't know what happened to customer service nowadays. All I wanted was a simple acknowledgement they'll be right with me so just wait. Wasn't asking for the extra mile here!! They have never had my medications right, I do mail order but sometimes I have to use them for urgent matters unfortunately. read more

This review is for the pharmacy, more specifically the pharmacist. I had signed up to receive a vaccination online and they were confirming my appointment until the day before. I call back due to a missed call from the store & the pharmacist straight up tells me they have never given this vaccine at their store. Now, online it says they have it, yet she was firmly & rudely telling me they don't provide that. After all these emails confirming the appointment?? Wouldn't be a big deal at all, but the pharmacist needs to grow a personality and some type of sincerity in her services. Not a fan. read more

The store is great, but the pharmacy is terrible! Alex K, the pharmacist is so rude and condescending. He was late getting my husbands medicine, which he needed for pain, and then said he had questions about prescription 6 hours after he received the script and the docs office was closed. This was no big deal to him, but for someone who is in intense pain, waiting one more day is eternity. He could've called in the questions hours earlier and alleviated the pain for my husband. So unacceptable. We are moving to CVS. read more

The pharmacy is terrible. In less than a week I've unfortunately had two sick children. I have had both children's medications called in to Walgreens on Coit and Rolator. Both times after being told by the pharmacist when they would be available for pick up - I am told after showing up that my script has been called into another Walgreens because they are out of stock. I go to the Walgreens that they supposedly called it into only to find out they made an error and called it into a different one. I will NEVER use Wagreens pharmacy again and will make sure my doctors are aware so they can advise their patients to take their business elsewhere. read more

The store is generally well run and the staff helpful. The only issue is the pharmacy. Three times I received messages my prescription was ready and each time there was an issue that couldn't be resolved leaving me to make a drive for nothing. The staff apologized each time but after the third apology it just seems hollow. read more

This pharmacy is the slowest. I finally decided to move all my prescriptions to CVS. Today, I had to use a Walgreens pharmacy and decided to give them another try. Unfortunately, nothing has changed it took 20 minutes to drop off my prescription with only one car in front of me. When I finally got to the window it was immediately clear why it was taking so long. The drive through clerk was also waiting on the people on the inside. She cleared her line before waiting on me. I'm really not a Walgreens fan since the prices are so high compared to Target, Walmart, etc..but when I don't feel like walking a mile to what I need in those stores.. I'll stop here on the way home. I stopped in last week to pick up a bottle of wine and couldn't find it for the life of me. When I asked the employee, he told me that they don't sell alcohol at this location due to it being across the street from the high school. Lol. Off to the big retailer I go... read more
