He will always find you a better co-pay or cash pay on your script, and if he can't, he will be honest and tell you and suggest where you might find what you need. Also, if you're upset, tell Bilal so that he knows where the problem is. They are very busy and when they get new staff, everyone has to understand that there is always a learning curve. Be patient, bug them on Monday even if you know you're not getting your script until Friday. Then call and ask again on Tuesday! They can only order meds Mon-Thur. NOT FRIDAY...which will make you pissed because you won't be able to get it then until the following Monday. Yes, they're open on Saturday, but that goes for ALL pharmacies!!! I've noticed a surge overall from the public in buying medications, just remember that Pfizer headquarters recently got ran through from a tornado. If you have to wait, it's because they are doing the best that they can to compensate for that. All pharmacies will be affected. I like to say, don't hate the player, hate the game...and over the last couple years, all of Big Pharma have given us a rotten deal. The Covid shot is being proven ineffective and now, everyone has more health problems than they did. Remember, this is an independent pharmacy...which means, ONE location. Get on your phone, give them a call, ASK if they have what you need. My final and most important piece of advice is to ASK FOR A PAPER PRESCRIPTION. I have lost a few prescriptions due to failure to follow through on my own doctors end, (who is also about to get a review from me today) IF you do YOUR part, stay on top of things and if he doesn't have it, you won't have to worry about it because you have a paper script, and can ask if they have something. Especially now in this time. I've been let down more by my own general practitioner MD, than I ever have by Live Oak.

Current situation is My practitioner recently changed over to Carie Boyd Pharmaceuticals. So, when I needed my BHRT replaced In December I authorized them a 1 x time charge, for 1 x times the BHRT Pellet fee, and that was it nothing else. Thinking that was the end of it until next time, boy was I wrong! (Keep in mind these only get implanted every 6 months or so.) However exactly 1 month later January 23 I get another charge for 3 x times the amount and this is supposed to be for an oral cheek dissolvable estrogen compound tablet that came out of nowhere, only arrives in the mail without warning of any kind with an invoice billing me again 3 times the amount of implantable that I received a month ago. My practitioner contacted this company, and then I also tried to contact this company and oddly the manager of the company would not even get on the phone with me. They sent a message to the accounting department back to her stating that "the accounts receivable lady can tell me they've already spoken to my provider and that was it nothing further they could do, and that my they couldn't accept the package back not because the content's had been opened or disturbed but because the PLASTIC FEDX package had been opened... We've found in the past that doctor offices sometimes blame the pharmacy whenever there are delays with refills. That doesn't happen with this pharmacy, because they let us know right away if they haven't heard back from a doctor's office. Their pharmacists and techs are very caring and friendly, and they remember us by name. We are not just another number. There is a section dedicated to toys and kitsch, but that is separated from medical needs except for a few items by the register. An example of the helpful staff - I called to check on their hours and discovered that as I suspected they were already closed. But as they were doing inventory they were going to be on the premises and insisted that I could come to pickup my prescription now. They could not allow me to come in but went back and forth from the door to the back of the store to get my meds and run my card for payment. Way above and beyond! This isn't a place like the Walgreen's where you get your prescription along with shampoo, nail polish and snacks. This is a small neighborhood pharmacy with better selection of medical supplies than most drugstores and helpful staff. My only complaint? They aren't open on Sundays, or evenings. But I understand and appreciate that even though it makes it harder for me to get by there.

It is always a pleasure picking up my medications from her. She always takes an interest in my health at each visit and takes time from her busy schedule just to have a nice conversation.
