- 1 if I could... unfortunately due to convenient location, we've been going here off&on for past 8yrs. Always understaffed. Staff is clearly frustrated and it presents as sloth-like speed & unprofessional demeanor in person. Same attitude on the phone but include Rudeness - cutting you off, speaking over you, and taking close to 30mins with "Nicki" to place RXs that APP did not process. [FYI, as bad a staffing is, DO NOT USE THEIR APP as it will sit in "processing order" mode for days and nothing else]

2 delivery charges on bank statement

This started after I moved to Fremont and selected the Walgreens located on Blacow Rd to fill & deliver a prescription. I am disabled and unable to pick up in store. I called them to set up delivery and the first associate I spoke with was attempting to enter my insurance information, but she seemed to be new and had a hard time putting the information in, so after a very long process, she handed me off to another associate. He seemed to have a chip on his shoulder from the start and after some time told me there was some issue with the group number or something along those lines, but eventually he was able to put my information in. I was in serious pain as I was dealing with a very bad toothache, which was the reason for the prescription and at some point, I got frustrated at the amount of time this was taking, although I was never overtly rude or disrespectful in anyway. By the time he finished, the option to have the prescription delivered that day had expired and again this frustrated me because if not for the ridiculously long amount of time taken to input the insurance information, I could've gotten it the same day. I was told I would get a text and after I followed the instructions the prescription would be set up for delivery. I received a text asking for my payment information which I entered, and then heard nothing back. The next morning, I called and spoke with that same associate, the gentleman seemed to be somewhat stand-offish in attempting to set up my delivery, which hadn't been done the night before, and eventually he informed me that, for some reason unclear to him, he was unable to charge my card. I switched cards through the text link I had gotten and called back and asked him to try again and was told once again that he could see the card was there, but was unable to charge it. At this point I started to feel as if he was personally causing me problems, so I called back and asked to speak with a manager from outside the pharmacy. I expressed my frustration with her and the fact that the pharmacy associate was saying they were unable to charge my card even after I put in 2 different cards and shortly after that, I received a text from my bank saying that Walgreens had charged me the delivery fee but yet again it had been delayed until the following day even though I paid the $5.99 for same-day delivery. This last Wednesday, March 26. I went to the dentist and after that visit I was given another prescription which I had them send to the same Walgreens, unfortunately. When I arrived home, I went online as the dentist had told me it should be ready within an hour, and I was rudely told by the same male associate that, regardless of what the dentist said, it was up to the pharmacy to fill the prescription and that the prescription has been delayed because they needed to check with the prescriber as the dose was unusually high. It was a prescription for 21 800mg Ibuprofen pills which I've been prescribed before, and I've spoken with other pharmacists who said this would not alarm them, however this Walgreens delayed my prescription from about 2pm until just after 5pm before presumably speaking with the dentist to make sure it was OK. At this point once again, it was too late to get the same day delivery, so I opted for the 1-2 day delivery option at $3.99. The next day, Wednesday, March 27, I noticed that there were two charges for Walgreens on my bank statement at $3.99 each. One was charged Tuesday night at 6:06 PM which was the one that I did, but I saw that another one had been charged Wednesday morning at 8:17 AM which I did not authorize and I also noticed that the prescription showed 'out for delivery' but when I clicked on the tracking link, it showed that it had been canceled by the shipper. I called Walgreens to inquire and was told that the double charge was because I had ordered it for delivery twice, which was not true. And because of this one of them had been canceled. I would think that they would cancel the second charge, but coincidently, it was the one I had made the night before that was cancelled. The new tracking number I was given showed that the delivery wouldn't be made until the next day, Thursday, March 28, two days after Walgreens received the prescription. I can only presume that the same associate that had already given me so much trouble intentionally canceled my original delivery order to delay the delivery further and then processed the delivery again without my permission, charging my card the additional $3,99 on the morning of March 27 as a means to essentially punish me for being frustrated in our earlier interactions. Every single interaction I've had with this Walgreens has had issues.

This store is my happy place! The staff are friendly and do a great job keeping things tidy…read more They're very helpful but also let you shop in peace, which I appreciate. They have a lot of popular asian skincare, hair care, and makeup + lesser known products that are fun finds and still effective! I've found that their products are oftentimes a better deal than what you'd get from online retailers like yesstyle/stylevana when you factor in shipping costs. It's also in a great location near heytea and ranch 99, making it a convenient stop to get all your necessities! The parking lot can get busy depending on when you go, but it's never taken me more than 5mins to find a spot. Things that would improve the experience is having more inventory (i've had a few experiences where the product I went in for are out of stock and they aren't always sure when it will be restocked). I also wish they carried the Kose tone up sunscreen, but at least there are plenty of other products to try!

This is the perfect stop if you're hunting for legit Asian skincare without risking online fakes…read more The shelves are packed with imported creams, lotions, sunscreens. I finally found two products I'd been searching for everywhere: Biore UV and Centella, after even Walmart let me down with counterfeits. Prices lean high, but at least you're getting the real stuff. If you want trustworthy Asian skincare in San Jose, this is the spot.

For the longest time (wished I wore sunscreen when I was younger), I struggled with…read morehyperpigmentation and honestly felt like I had tried everything. During my pregnancy and postpartum, my pigmentation became much darker, and it really affected my confidence. I kept hoping each new treatment would be the one. I tried chemical peels, microdermabrasion, microneedling, IPL, and BBL, and spent so much money on products that promised results but never truly made a difference. I started to feel discouraged, but I decided to trust the process and stay consistent. What finally changed my skin was alternating Pico laser treatments with Salmon DNA microneedling while using hydroquinone. This Pico laser session was done just a week ago, and my skin is already improving and it will continue to get lighter as I use hydroquinone every night. One of the biggest lessons I learned is that sunscreen is non-negotiable. The tinted EltaMD sunscreen has become my everyday essential and honestly should be the gold standard when treating hyperpigmentation. And I can't say enough about Crystal. She is truly amazing!!!! so patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely invested in helping you reach your dream skin. She guides you with honesty and care, and that support makes all the difference when you're on a long skincare journey. If you're feeling discouraged like I once did, don't give up. Healing your skin takes time, consistency, and trust. Be patient with yourself, protect your skin, and trust the process
