This is the worst pharmacy I've ever used . They've given us the wrong medication more than once . My husband was prescribed a medication two months ago . We were told it was on back order and to call every other day , so we did , with no luck . His doctor moved the prescription to another pharmacy , they ordered it and he had it in 3 days . Today I went to pick a prescription up that I was told would be ordered and delivered Wednesday . By far the most unhelpful lazy pharmacist I've ever went to. They continuously drop the ball and do the bare minimum with any issue with prescription or insurance discrepancies rather than resolve the issue they want you to come back when it's convenient for them after sitting in line for 30 minutes or more. It's a mixed bag at this location. I have had some really great customer service here but then you get the lady I had a couple of months ago who was rude and following me around 20 minutes before they closed and was literally reaching over me to change ad tags. Lady, I'm going to get out of your way, give me 2 minutes to locate the right product and I'll be out of here. Same night, I'm checking out 10 minutes before they close (didn't even realiZe they weren't 24 hrs anymore) and the lady literally answered her cell phone and complained about last minute customers to whomever she was talking to. Pharmacy overcharges for medications. I've been on the same prescription for over 20 years. I've been using my regular pharmacy and never paid more than $25 for a 90 day supply. I decided to try to move pharmacies because this one is so close to home. When I got there they tried to charge me $200 for my 90 day supply saying I hadn't met my deductible. I called my insurance and they told me I shouldn't pay that much as I was part of their prescription plan and had the card to show what I'll be charged per medications and this is a Life Sustaining Medication. Walgreens was insistent that they were not budging on the price even though I had proof . I called my regular pharmacy and had the prescription transferred back to them. They filled it within a day and I was charged $25. They are purposely overcharging on their medications. I feel that this should be illegal. Lesson learned I will not go here again. read more

I have used this pharmacy off and on for about 20 years. I have a disabled daughter, and we had to follow up many times on prescriptions that were not filled on time. My daughter's prescriptions are now filled through Walmart and we have had almost no issues in the last several years. Two to three times per month my prescriptions say "waiting dr approval". When I call the doctor they say they never got the request. I have complained many times to the pharmacy staff and asked them to forward my complaint. The staff is always kind and apologetic, but never follows up on my complaint. This week was the last straw. I called in three meds on Saturday. Two were filled on Monday and the third was never filled. I came in Tuesday night to get 2 meds and complained. The app said my script was filled on Wednesday so I went back in and it was not ready. I showed the clerk that the app said filled, and told her that she needed to pass this complaint to the manager. She apologized, but nothing was done. I called the doctor on Wednesday, and the doctor called me Thursday morning to tell me they filled my request. The pharmacy did not fill it until Thursday evening. They said it was denied by insurance. I called corporate and was transferred 3 times before demanding a manager. The manager was very kind and helpful. I got a call Friday morning from the store and my prescription was finally filled. So ... to get my script filled I went to the store 3 times, I called the doctor, I called corporate, and it still took 5 days. Too much work. Will probably switch to CVS (or start my own pharmacy?). read more

The photo department here is AWESOME. Very knowledgeable and helpful. I love submitting stuff online to be picked up, but the assistance there at the store is beyond compare. Tonight I went in to pick up 10 photos on wooden plaques I ordered online. April helped me and she was outstanding. Not only was she very friendly and professional, she realized I hadn't taken advantage of an online sale and let me know. To make the sale calculate in, she ran every picture I ordered individually into her sales computer (nobody was waiting in line in photo). Well over and above her duty. Love the cashiers here too. Selection and merchandising is top rate as well. Pharmacy....well, they've had issues for some years now, though it's obvious they are working very hard as a team to correct things....not sure the root of their service issues. read more

This review is on the store and not the pharmacy. My wife and I went into the store today as my wife wanted to download and print some pictures from here phone. Neither of us had done this before. Jacob, I believe the assistant manager, helped my wife with the entire process. We were there for about an hour. Jacob was very nice, helpful, and patient. And during the time we were there he had to deal with an irate customer, which he handled very well. Walgreens is lucky to have him on their team! read more

Charlotte was literally in the worst mood when I came to buy my step son Pedialyte and crackers because he is sick. I asked her how she was doing and she didn't say one word or even look at me. Didn't tell me my total or anything at all when I left. What kind of customer service is that. We all have bad days. My family and I have been using his pharmacy for 10+ years I am truly upset with this facility due to the fact that the pharmacist is rude and uncaring to any situation. I only gave an extra star for the people upfront in the main Walgreens non-pharmacy area they are amazing and wonderful and really sweet but pharmacy seemed like they have gone down in the past couple years and we've had multiple issues .... Only walgreens in the area that is open past 10pm. I really needed some h2ocean for my tattoo and this is one of the only retail stores that sells it. I've had MULTIPLE bad experiences with the pharmacy here, but tonight was the final straw. I had major dental work done on Thursday and my doctor gave me a prescription for pain meds and said I may or may not need them, to give it a couple days. Well today at work all day my mouth, jaw, and ear are THROBBING so I drop off the prescription. The lady looked at and told me to wait 20 min. So I look around the store to kill time. 20 minutes later I go to get it to be told it's not on the correct paper so they won't take it. Why didn't she mention that when I dropped it off??? Then says also it's been 2 days so she can't fill it. There's been numerous occasions when I don't drop off prescriptions same day I get them. This was just high dosage Tylenol, not like Vicodin or anything and they were acting like I was some druggy trying to fake a prescription. This doctor has been in the business a long time, I doubt his prescriptions are on the "wrong paper". Definitely changing pharmacy after all these years now bc this was about the 5th extremely rude encounter I've had with this pharmacy. read more

My family has used the pharmacy here for over 15 years and I can not tell you how disappointed we are with them now. Unfortunately I lost my job and had no insurance and I had to pay for my RX out of pocket. So, instead of paying over $200 for a 30 day supply, I would fill a few here and there when I had the money. My Dr. called in my refill but the pharmacy refused to fill it because I was four days early. The pharmacy said I could fill it on the 19th. So, the 19th came around and I called to do a partial refill and while being on hold for several minutes (I knew something was wrong), the early morning pharmacist refused to refill my meds. I asked why and she said there was a complaint. "A complaint?" by whom? She would not say. My last 30 day refill was on Feb. 16th and it was now March 19th so tell me why I can't have my refill? She was looking at dates prior to February's refill which have nothing to do with March's refill date. I have had problems with this same pharmacists in the past as she has a problem with me splitting my meds up. I'm sorry I lost my job and have to do partial refills every week when I have the money but I was refilling my meds that my doctor approved on the date I was told by the pharmacy. I had to get to work so my wife went up there in person to see a manager and complain about this pharmacist. My wife was upset as I was, so instead of helping us, that same pharmacist was going to call the police as she felt threatened. They did tell my wife that they would figure it out and call me but several hours went by with no phone call. We called the pharmacy and spoke to another pharmacist and that pharmacist said there was no problem at all and to pick up the partial refill when we are ready. Unbelievable. All I can say is, if you don't have insurance and you need to do partial refills, don't call in the early morning or you may be chastised by this woman for not having the means to fill your RX all at once or lack of insurance. I thought your pharmacist was there to help? This lady (who refused to give her name) is by far the most unhelpful person in the medical field I have ever met and shame on Walgreens on Rufe Snow to allow this woman to dictate RX's called in by a doctor. After this refill, my family will never use this location again. read more
