Very rarely shop anywhere other than Walmart for my grocery and personal needs, but I was in a pinch and needed a hygiene product. Usually I have my photos processed here, but unfamiliar with the layout of the store otherwise. After inquiring for assistance in locating the product, I quickly grabbed what I needed and promptly paid the cashier. Everyone was very professional in their demeanor and friendly. A pop in and pop out of this Walgreens because they have an ATM that's in my network. Who wants to pay $3 to get $20? Not me! The level of incompetence at this location is astonishing. I gave the pharmacy the benefit of the doubt when the first tech borked my prescription pick-up. When a different tech and a pharmacist both messed up on orders when trying to fix the mistake of the first tech, I about blew a gasket. And I'm a very calm and patient person (no Karen's here). To add insult to injury, the speed of service is galacial. I've abandoned trips in the past when I've seen long lines in the drive thru, but this last time I was only behind one car. The WORST!!! I went to get some drops filled, first they couldn't figure out my insurance and told me to drive around as I called my company to see what they were talking about. My physician sent my perception to the wrong Walgreens pharmacy, and I can definitely tell the difference. I call my normal Walgreens on McCart and sycamore School road and they answered the phone right away. I called this location McCart and Barry and I was on hold for over 35 minutes someone would pick up the phone and put it back on hold 11 times. With that said I work in emergency department and we are super busy but our phones will always be answered right away. I don't know if this location need headsets since the rude employees hands are to busy to answer the phone. I advise everyone to select another location, unless you have all day. read more

I'd give this Walgreens a 0 if I could. The pharmacy staff is incredibly rude. I called every Walgreens in Fort Worth and this was the only pharmacy in the area that had the medication available that I needed to fill. I had to call my doctor and have my medication completely changed to be filled here. My doctors office sent the prescription over that same day. I gave Walgreens 2 days to fill it, come to pick it up, and they said they didn't fill it because they didn't think my insurance would cover it. So rather than call me and ask if I wanted to pay out of pocket for it, they just didn't fill it. Then I'm told to come back at 2:30 to pick it up. I waited until 4:30 to give them a little extra time and not only do they not have my prescription ready to pick up, the rude tech said they don't even have the medication in stock now. read more

I have had a love hate relationship with the pharmacy for years. It's right next to my office and so it's very accessible and easy to pick up prescriptions on my lunch hour. However, for years I've had to trade convenience for disappointing service. It's a very central location and it's always too busy for its own good. However, I just wanted to take a moment to say that the last few times have been so much better. And this most recent time, everyone I worked with--from the new guy training, to the girl who was training him, and the manager who had to handle the escalation due to a mix up with my doctors office--were all so great! They went above and beyond to help out in a difficult situation. So, thanks, Manager Josh, and team for changing my opinion and making me happy to have you nearby! read more

The pharmacists are a product of Zoom university Ned students in the workforce. I can get better questions regarding medication from a plank of wood. Not to mention trying to reach them over phone is like trying to guess what pay phone your ex may be using at any given moment and just calling that one. Abysmal customer service! read more

I have never taken the time to write a review, let alone a negative one. (Erik's fiancé writing this) Working in customer service myself, I do take in consideration that people simply have bad days and I don't hold the occasional bad service against them. But after our experience today with Ken the manager, we will never step into this store again. Not only was he deliberately unaccommodating, boundaries were crossed when he then REACHED in our cart without our permission and began removing items from it because "we had too many." Walgreens has the right to limit customers which is totally fine, we would have gladly put some of the green teas back on the already packed shelf. And I wish I could say normally Ken is such a great, friendly guy because we go in almost every day. Unfortunately, he has been rude in the past and this experience just felt invasive and unnecessary. By the way Ken, we get excited when the teas are on sale because we help prep drink/snack boxes for after school programs at our church. And if anyone is wondering, he was fine with half a case but once we put 5 more in, that's when his hands went in our cart and we walked out. But not without him and the other manager, I believe Joesph(?) sarcastically telling us to have a great day. The shelves were stocked man. And we hope you're having a better day. read more

Terrible. Not only did this Walgreens give me a pregnancy test that ended up being a false positive that literally sent me into an emotional downfall, there pharmacy is absolutely terrible and takes so long any time I need to pick up a prescription. Expect to wait at least 15 minutes anytime you have to pick up a prescription. read more

This is only for the pharmacy. Absolutely terrible. Customer service is fine, I spoke with a man named Kyle about this incident in the customer service department and he gave me some great advice on what to do, so props to him. But I digress. I got my refills from my doctor, and because CVS doesn't take my insurance anymore, I went to Walgreens. Never had a problem at CVS. But oh. My mom has to pick up my prescriptions for me, and firstly they told her ready by 7:45. She gets there and has to wait thirty minutes. Okay. She was then told that they had to have a doctor review for a 90 day (which, mine was a thirty day, just FYI) and she got into it with them because they said they wouldn't be ready until tomorrow. I needed them tonight. So she gets them, I come home and open them to find one I don't recognize. I look it up and it's the wrong medication! They gave me the wrong medicine! I am absolutely heated and will be talking to their corporate office tomorrow after I lay into their pharmacy tomorrow morning right as soon as they open. So pissed! I'm transferring to a different Walgreens this is ridiculous! If I hadn't of checked that prescription I could of taken something I'm not supposed to and it could of been serious! read more

I went in today needing to fill a new prescription that CVS (my usual pharmacy) is out of for the weekend. I asked them if they had the prescription- and after looking for it the pharmacy tech said they had it. Feeling thankful, I asked if I could fill it tonight and readily agreed to wait as long as needed since they were a bit busy even at 9:30 pm. She told me it would be 30 minutes and I was more than fine with that given that it was a new prescription, etc, etc.. What I wasn't fine with was waiting for 45 minutes with no update, having to eventually walk up to the counter myself and wait patiently another few minutes only for her to tell me that they do not actually have that prescription in stock. I'm fine with waiting for a prescription, but not with giving up almost an hour of my day because of a mistake made by a careless pharmacy tech that wasn't even sorry she put someone through that. The only reason I'm giving them a one star, is because their pharmacy is absolutely horrible. The pharmacist don't answer their phones. I was on hold for thirty five minutes, and finally called up front on a seperate line to their customer service department. The nice young lady profusely apologized and got me immediately through to a pharmacist. Once I finally get through, the lady insists my doctor never called in my order, and then says she has it, but she searched the wrong name. They had a certain item on sale 2/$4 . I got a few and upon checking out they said I can't get it as there is a limit of 3 only. Duh! Then why did you put it up on sale for 2/4 if I an only get 3. It's just your typical walgreens you would find anywhere. It has all your convenience store needs in the typical drug store layout. It has candy, snacks, food, drinks, toys, and a pharmacy. I have never had any problems here and nothings super spectacular. read more

WORST pharmacy ever. Gave me my prescription with the wrong label on it. It said someone else's name and address, everything on it was wrong but the prescription inside it was mine. I tried calling to report it... got hung up on 4 times and all 4 times i was on hold for 20 minutes. Went inside to get it fixed and all they did was say sorry and change the label to the correct one. It's ILLEGAL to carry a prescription that doesn't have your name on it; this is serious and they acted like it was just no big deal. I would give this place zero stars if I could. read more

As far as a drug-store goes this Walgreens is great, for a snack or even to buy shaving cream. Here is my words to the wise: NEVER take your prescriptions here. They are understaffed, with many of them being extremely rude. They are unhelpful and usually to rushed to really talk to you about your medications. I've been coming to this pharmacy because it was close and convenient when they had 24hour service and they were the cheapest for GOODRX, but they take forever (like a minimum of an hour every time). Today's incident topped my least favorite experience. I needed a prescription filed and I asked them to verify it was in stock when I dropped it off. I was told it was in stock and that all my medication would be ready to be picked up the next morning. Only two of the four were ready and I received a notification that the one I specifically had then check for was out of stock. Until ACA is repealed and I cannot afford another pharmacy I'll be going elsewhere. One would think after so many years of one star reviews you might change something. Never go to this Walgreens between the hours of 4-7pm. I've gone several times at that time of day and spent over an hour in line. They would wait 20 minutes in between helping each customer as the line got 6 people long. If I go at oddball hours, sometimes I get a long wait, sometimes not. I've never tried the drive-through, but it looks like they serve those people slightly faster than the ones standing inside. I've gone to get 6 prescriptions filled plus 2 that had to get authorized by a Dr. When I went, they only had 4 done. One other had been sent to a Walgreens in another state where I lived 6 months ago, and another wasn't filled at all. I had to request it again. 1 of the 2 Dr refills had been denied (I'm having problems getting to see a new doctor where I live now) but another one for the same doctor was still awaiting approval. I switched from CVS to Walgreens because when I fill a low cost generic prescription, CVS would always charge me the full $15 copay. Walgreens would still charge me the $7.65 or $3 or whatever the deep discounted generic cost. I was stuck with Walgreens for a while because my insurance didn't cover most pharmacies. I'm going to be looking around for a different pharmacy in the future. read more

Like waiting forever in a very short line that's outnumbered by pharmacy staff people, none of whom have any interest in helping you? Have nothing better to do than hold forever on the phone? Passive-aggressive customer service your thing? Want to pollute the entire city with your drive-thru fumes? Have you ever come to the right place--this Walgreen's is for you! When I arrived, my prescription hadn't even been filled, because they had detected a 1-5% chance of a cross-reaction due to my allergy to a different medication. Of course, I had already discussed this allergy with the doctor and we had agreed on trying this medication. He filled my prescription, but made me wait while he filled a number of other prescriptions before letting me pay for mine. That's just how they roll here. The CVS across the street is much better, and there are also other Walgreen's locations that are light years better than this one. But if you really want to waste your life waiting, I cannot recommend this Walgreen's highly enough. read more

These guys have always been nice and efficient when Ive dealt with them. With it being open 24 hrs, that makes it convenient. You can't expect a lone pharmacist or tech to be bubbly and glad to see you at 2 am. They do their job, but they don't kiss your ass and they have never been rude to me. When there are people waiting inside, you can't expect immediate attention when you pull up to the drive through. If you like the privately owned pharmacies, that may suit you better. read more

The wait at the pharmacy (both inside the store and at the drive thru) is usually unbearably long. It seems that every time I try to fill my mother's prescriptions, the staff has problems with my order or the order(s) before me. There is always the "hunt" for the prescription that includes numerous computer checks and incessant hunting through countless bins. Maybe this is common at all pharmacies, but I will be trying other pharmacies to compare. read more
