I visited meadowbrook pharmacy on 8-1-24 the doctor called my 6mo old grandson medicine for the flu & they kept on saying the doctor never called in his medicine the whole time meadowbrook pharmacy was lying then we get a text saying the medicine is ready when we go to pick up the medicine this black nasty looking lady will nappy hair comes out the pharmacy with a attitude so after I checked her about her attitude she then say y'all not getting his medicine go somewhere else I had to call the police because my grandson has a hi fever so when they found out the police is on the way the man in the pharmacy gave him his medicine please be aware if these people don't care about a 6 MO old baby they need to close the doors it doesn't make sense & y'all running a pharmacy & it's really sad cause people need they medicine on my dead son I will never come here again read more

Dropped a prescription off through the drive through and asked if I should come back in 30 minutes to an hour. I was told it would only take a few minutes and he insisted I wait. So I stayed in the parking lot for 15 minutes. Went inside and waited in line and a woman was called ahead of me because her prescription was ready so I waited patiently for her to get checked out. When I came up to the register they didn't know where my prescription had gone, very unprofessional and then they followed up with it'll take an additional 20 minutes. Verdict was I took my dogs prescription elsewhere. I'd rather wait somewhere where my time and money is respected and wanted. read more

This place has unbelievably bad customer service. They used to be really great, and my family likes to support small businesses, which is why we started filling our medicines here. Now I can't understand why we've kept coming. Or how they've stayed in business this long. Rather than give a bunch of anecdotal experience, I'll just list some of their negative points. 1) We will drop off prescriptions, and when we come to pick them up we are informed they are out of stock of that med...no phone call to let us know so we can take the script elsewhere, no checking when we drop it off. 2) When we call for refills, they tell us they are faxing a request to the doctor...we call in several days ahead to give our doc time to approve the refill. Then when we call to check, they say the doc never responded. A call to my doctor reveals that no request was ever received. 3) If requesting a refill on more than one med, they will only fax a request for one of the meds, then there is a delay getting the other ones filled. 4) Staff is rude and unhelpful. There is one girl, a CPhT (pharmacy tech) who is somewhat helpful and nice, but EVERYONE else is soooo rude. 5) Meds are more expensive than other pharmacies. Staff act offended if you ask how much a medication is (we pay out of a HSA that has limited funds, so prices are important to us). They will sometimes refuse to give the price, saying they can't look it up and will have to call me with that info...then not call. 6) Complaints, no matter how valid or nicely put, are received with hostility. I can't believe we have stayed as customers for so long. My family believes very strongly in supporting small businesses, and I guess we just kept thinking we were being overly critical or that they would improve, and we didn't want to switch to CVS or Walmart (the only other options in our neighborhood. Today we experienced #2, and it was pretty much the last straw. Fortunately, we are about to move to Euless, so hopefully we can find a new small pharmacy to support. Until then, we won't be coming back to this joke of a pharmacy. read more

This is one of the few pharmacies that do compounds. We have used them for years. Always fast, courteous, and correct on the prescriptions. Highly recommend. read more

Always a pleasure coming into this place! It is a great communal pharmacy unlike big CVS and Walgreens which you are not known.

Just left this establishment after being referred by my Insurance BCBS, due to my current pharmacy no longer being in my network. Not sure what others experience is or was at Meadowbrook Pharmacy. However here is mine. I entered to an unfriendly/non welcoming environment. I actually felt I was an interruption to them. There was NO OTHER person waiting, so I asked a couple of simple questions before leaving my 6 prescriptions. Two of my scripts ARE controlled substances (Diazepam & Zolpidem), so I wanted to know if they carry my desired manufacture brands or would be willing to order for me as I use this medication each month and would be filling it there. The pharmacist Darrin NEVER approached me to answer my questions and would only speak through his cashier Vivian (who was NO HELP). The pharmacist flatly refused to consider my request and Vivian could only state over & over that this is a controlled substance and we are only allowed a certain amount of medication in stock. WTF?? No options whatsoever! It is professionally know in the medical industry that certain drug manufactures medications effect patience differently and some will work better than others. Many pharmacies offer brand order for their patients. For this reason my MD advised me to use specific brands that work to my benefit and are readily available through pharmacies. What I learned from my visit to Meadowbrook Pharmacy today is that 1) I will not be back. 2) Their attitude towards new customers is not good for our neighborhood. 3) they need to be aware that there are literally hundreds of pharmacies that do what they do and most likely BETTER. Lastly, if you wish to have an awesome experience with great service and a dedicated, professional pharmacist who WILL follow-up and exceed your expectations, GO TO WOODHAVEN PHARMACY. I am amazed @ the! reviews - I have had THE BEST SERVICE HERE. DON'T bother going any place else. I communicate with them - what, when, and they have always provided as plann-nned. There is no trick to good service accept (if you have high expectations) you have to work from both sides of the counter. I am in the service biz and have been on both sides of counter. If you want WooHoo you have to give the same so they have all information to provide WooHoo. Remember, there is no gain as a company to providing POOR-ly. If anyone is providing less than perfect - I always start at home. Check, dbl CHECK, and callll before expecting the best from experts. This pharmacy tried to short me on flu medication for my child , mixed the medication and expected me to pay for the incorrect amount of doses. Be careful make sure they have all your medication before paying. Zero Stars but it does not allow that. read more

Worst service every from the pharmacists to the staff that works for him. If you complain the service just gets worst not better. If you or your doctor call in a prescription or refill on a Friday and they don't have it, you won't know you can't get until Monday when you arrive at the pharmacy on Friday.
