Absolutely worst experience I have ever had. The pharmacist Shakera is by far the worst person and pharmacist I have ever encountered. My mother in law has been a pharmacist for 32 years and she will be reporting Shakera to the board. CVS should fire her immediately. I had my prescription transferred to Walgreens down the street and the pharmacist there stated that she has heard multiple complaints about Skakera from other patients. FIRE HER. read more

The Pharmacist Shakira does not care about patients and will say that she does not feel comfortable prescribing medications on a whim, even if it's an antibiotic for an infection and even if it puts the patient's health at risk. Worst pharmacy experience I have ever had. the pharmacist Shakira was absolutely rude and condescending and made accusations towards us. She ignored us while sitting on the computer and sighed when getting up to help us. It felt like she was interrogating us just for getting decongestants for a sinus infection and would not sell it to us. It was a very demeaning experience. It is such a shame because all the other employees are wonderful and have always been helpful. Our night was ruined and now we have to suffer our cold. Reading other reviews it looks like this is not the first time she has done something like this. Other employees also mentioned getting complaints about her before too. This is absolutely unacceptable and she should no longer be allowed to work there. read more

My flight lost my checked-in luggage during my last trip to Fort Worth, so I was in need of last minute supplies and toiletries. This CVS was exactly what I needed in a pinch and was perfectly situated next to my hotel. Their corporate scouts know exactly what they're doing. This location is deceivingly large. They have a second floor, complete with a staircase leading to their pharmacy, medical supplies, and more retail. I was all up in their toiletries section where I was able to score traveler's versions for the essentials I needed. Customer service seemed to be a little slow, but for the most part was good about helping myself and others find what we needed. I'd been waiting one solid week for another location to fill a prescription - I called 4 times, got disconnected 3 times, and the best I got from the pharmacist at the other location (4140 Lancaster, FW) was, "No, it's not ready yet." This was one of two scrips that had been sent to the location. The first was ready in 2 days. The last time I called, and actually got through to someone, they couldn't even begin to tell me when it *might* be ready. When I said I was going to get it filled at another location because it was already a week, she said, "Sure." I called this Houston street location at three o' clock, and the pharmacist asked, "When would you like it?" I said, "Five o' clock?" She said, "See you then!" Hmmm ... somewhere north of a week, or two hours ... I cited the "bad" location, but ... as I reflect on it, I'm less likely to think that CVS hired the wrong pharmacist than CVS hired the right pharmacist ... and didn't give her the proper - or even the minimal support. Management likes to do the whole trickle down thing. "Our choices were perfect, but the people carrying them out!?" BS. read more

I went to this pharmacy since my local pharmacy had a really long wait last time I went and this one is super close to my work. When I arrived the pharmacist was on the phone and I waited at the counter without saying anything. After she wrapped up she told me it would be a moment and I said "take your time". When she came over we had the usual exchange of names and DOB. She told me there were drug interactions and I told her I was aware. The music was very loud and made it difficult to hear her when she asked questions. I told her I was having trouble hearing and that the music was distracting me. She said it sounded like I had ADD. I was pretty shocked and hurt that she would say something like that. I was there for anxiety meds since I had been struggling dealing with a loss in my family, leading to a lack of sleep that had intensified. I was stressed enough to finally go to the doctor and talk to someone and I felt like the pharmacist was diagnosing/judging me. I felt defeated and embarrassed as it was being there. In life I believe that it is easier to be kind and I wish that more people thought about the effect they have on others. I know that people are often unkind but in a position like that, it can be extremely detrimental to someone having mental health issues. Zero stars for the pharmacist working at 10 am on 7-17-2024 on Houston Street. Please do better. read more

I am visiting from small town Louisiana and let me say, trying to park and get into the store was an adventure on its own, but that's a me problem, lol. I used telehealth because I had something going on and I had prescriptions sent to this location. I requested an earlier fill than what the website told me (the next day at 1, and I needed the antibiotics asap) and the sweet pharmacist had it filled by the time I arrived to the store, 30ish minutes prior to close. She was very helpful with her counseling about the medications and very friendly. She reminded me of my small town independent pharmacist. The location itself was well stocked and a very nice store. I would absolutely go back if I needed to in the future. read more

Unfortunately, my friends and I had a very perplexing experience at this store. My friend accidentally tripped outside this store and broke her finger. A group of us were trying to help her, keep her from fainting, and set her finger before we headed to an Urgent Care. While we were doing this, the manager (named Sabrina) came up to us and asked us to move away from the front of the store. We immediately moved and went to the space between the front double doors so we could continue to assist our friend. The manager came up to us again, very rudely telling us to leave, to which my friend responded, "We're leaving!" As you can imagine, the situation for us was very stressful and we are doing the best we could to keep our friend with the broken finger from becoming overwhelmed. The manager then yelled at us, saying "You are no longer welcome back here if you're going to act like a b***h!!" I was utterly shocked and tried to calmly explain the situation we were dealing with, but she showed no understanding or empathy. She told us to get out of the store immediately. We had no previous confrontation with her to receive such a response and never imagined someone could be so callous and rude to someone clearly in intense pain. Needless to say, I have filed a formal complaint with corporate about this manager's behavior. If I can say anything about this location is that if you encounter this person, be aware you will not receive any sort of human decency from her. read more

Store is constantly opened late. In fact, there was a delivery driver actually waiting with a delivery this morning but, as if used to it, he just sat down with the rest of us to wait for the store to open. It was past 7:10. Last time I was here I think it was 7:15 before the store was opened. Shelves are half bare. For months now it's been normal to walk in and see the shelves half empty. Not sure if they're short on product (could be if they're not there to accept deliveries) or just lazy and don't want to stalk the shelves. From my interactions with the employees I would guess laziness. Used to love this location when it first opened. Now it's hard to find it open/or find the items you need on the I stocked shelves. read more

When you're travelling and forget your diabetic testing supplies, it's mildly annoying. Fortunately, this CVS was nearby. Even more fortunately, the pharmacist on duty offered suggestions as to inexpensive options. I really appreciated the customer service at this store both from the pharmacist and the staff on the first floor who pointed me in the right direction. Visiting this location is a lot like a step back in time to a real neighborhood independent pharmacy. If the CVS locations by my home were similar, I'd be using them. read more

I am just visiting Ft. Worth for a few days and my body decided it would be a good time to start getting sick. So, I headed to CVS to get some Zicam to try and head it off. I walked in the store and was warmly greeted by Shana. She asked me if she could help me find anything and I said I needed the stuff to try to head off a cold (no, I couldn't remember the name Zicam ). She asked if I meant Zicam and told me exactly where to find it upstairs in a happy and upbeat way. I found what I needed and headed back downstairs to check out. Terrible pharmacist who worked during noontime hours on 8/14. Told my elderly Asian parents they couldn't get the covid vaccine there when they are a walk in location. Left them confused and didn't help them set up an appointment or give any advice. Very disappointed with this CVS. I don't know if there was a race factor involved but I definitely have seen people get walk in vaccines and I'm flabbergasted this happened to my parents. Would advise people seeking to get vaccinated not come here as walk in or clarify their policy. read more

I can't say enough about my experience with CVS Pharmacy at this location. There was a bit of glitch in the beginning with my prescriptions, and I was afraid I would not be able to get them, or it would take a long time. Shawn Francis, the Pharmacy Manager worked some kind of magic, and not only did he get the problem resolved, he managed to get in done on my break time for work and saved me over twenty dollars! This CVS has a customer for life! Being downtown is also a huge draw since I live and work in Downtown. I am very happy with my experience and would recommend this location to anyone. read more
