I have never used the pharmacy but I love the photo center here! They offer same-day printing for a lot of products and they're always prompt. Especially if you're like me and procrastinate on your holiday cards and invitations. Additionally, the employees are friendly and helpful. There is always ample parking and a lot of selection inside the store as well, with lots of good sales on various products, so a good place to stop as a convenience store as well. read more

Worst pile of shit pharmacy ever. Prescriptions are always late, you have to constantly call, they lie to you telling you its been ordered, and they will notify you- but it is just not true. You sit on calls waiting for 30+ minutes - to an hour average- with 1, or 2 "people waiting ahead of you" they don't call you back, you get your prescriptions late EVERY TIME. DO NOT EVER USE THIS PHARMACY- it is the biggest joke, it needs to be shut down and condemned. read more

I stood in line at the pharmacy counter for 50 minutes (5 people before me and 2-3 behind me , one left. My medication was already called and packaged was texted that it was ready for pick up. I only got one of my meds they put the other back and the day before I was told on the phone it would be held until the 5 th. It wasn't. I would like to pick up both my meds all at one time. Very seldom works out that way. Staff is slow there was 4 behind the window , some one finally asked for help in pharmacy counter. A young man came from the back to help one of the customers at counter than was called back out to unload the truck delivery. The drive thru which I usually try to use , as usual is backed up 5-7 at any given time. No exception while today as I was leaving I counted 5 in drive thru. One hour late. The SWEETEST Cashier ever attended me today, it was pretty late in the evening, and at a time where most employees would be tired, but she was so sweet and made friendly conversation! Have been going here for a while to pick it my grandmothers medication and have always had issues with the pharmacy. Between their system being down for over a year to always being "busy" with nobody in store, I've had enough of this place. Today went to get an important medication for my grandmother, was told yesterday that it would be ready by 6pm but I would be at work. No worries I'll get it tomorrow I figure. Come back today and am told it was rejected on their end. Was told they could look into it in a few hours but they were busy, I was the only one in drive up and I could see maybe one person in line inside. I don't understand how it can go from being ready to being rejected. There seems to always be an issue with them, a long line, or medications not being ready despite getting a call/text saying they are ready. After my grandmothers next doctor appointment I am changing her pharmacy. This Walgreens pharmacy is just horrible. read more

Showed up a couple hours after my prescription (which is one box - no pills to count out) was called in, waited in line for 30 minutes (3 total cars in drive thru) only to be told my prescription wasn't ready and wouldn't be ready for at least another hour. Very unhappy with Walgreens pharmacy. Appointment was made online for 7pm (in which i showed up an hour earlier expecting to wait) just to show up and be told by the site supervisor that they closed early due to staffing. Which I can understand, but no communication to your customers via email or phone to cancel or reschedule the appointment? Where was RX manager Gary to manage this? Understandably times are rough due to Covid but how do you just close down a corporate business , decide to close for the day with no acknowledgement to your customers who scheduled an appointment WAY in advance. No accountability or empathy from the site manager either, she kept repeating "it's not my department" "i don't work in that area" which is not what an angry customer wants to hear. Maybe a " my apologizes for the inconvenience" would have deescalated the moment. From the looks of the most current reviews, this seems like a current issue that the management team there is failing to address. Not good service or business being conducted. Came in to pick up my prescription and the pharmacist was a complete jerk. I filled it with the automated system and it said it was going to be ready at a specific time we came down to pick it up a few hours later and the pharmacist was so rude and refused to give us our prescription until tomorrow. I said what time can I pick it up tomorrow and he said between 910 or 11 and I asked what time do you open, he says 8 AM, I asked why can't I pick up my prescription at 8 AM he said he needed to process it for a few hours. I found the pharmacy people smiley and helpful. They had lots of scrips backed up and told me up front that it would take about 1 1/2 hours. I'm ok with that. It'll give me more time to run errands. When I went to pick up my scripts, they were lost, or at least the tech couldn't find them. Took almost 10 minutes to round them up. Not good. Seems like I'm not the only reviewer experiencing this disorganized store. The second time I went with a single item, it took them way too long and there wasn't anyone else waiting. Maybe this is the way all pharmacies are run in southern california, so it's possible this is a little better than most. The prices are very good for generic medicines, so I will likely return to Walgreens, even if it's not this location. But I cannot recommend it. read more

I don't normally complain about this kind of thing, but an employee named Ivan very clearly dissed me when I needed his help. He was doing some inventory near the register, and when I walked over to him, not three feet away, he refused to acknowledge me. When I tried to get his attention he verbally responded but refused to turn and look at me. And when he finally unlocked the item I needed, he went back to his work while I waited at the register for minutes; someone else eventually had to ring me up. Again, I never complain about this sort of thing, but I can tell the difference between being wrapped up in your work and violating basic courtesy. I wasn't making special demands, or being rude, and I would have been happy with a quick "will be with you in a sec". The lady who rung me up was fine, Ivan was very rude. Won't be back. read more

This is for the photo service... I usually get photos printed at CVS, but since we were going to be driving by Walgreens I though I'd just print them there instead. The quality was HORRIBLE and dark! I sent my husband in to grab them and he just paid for them.. I wouldn't have wasted the money if I would have gone in myself. This is for the Walgreens Pharmacy on East Valley and Rose in Escondido. They seldom "have enough" of my prescriptions in stock, causing me to make two trips for the same Rx. The lines are horrible, whether it's in the store or in the drive up. On more than one occasion I was told, after waiting for what seemed like an eternity for my turn, that their "system was down" and they wouldn't be able to process my transaction. Finally, today was it, time for a review. I received a text that my Rx was ready. I had kids and the dog in the car, and drove through the drive through. There was a plastic barrier in the first lane, with no sign on it. I parked in the parking lot and called the pharmacy and asked if their drive through was open. The girl who answered said yes, both lanes were open. I asked why there was a barrier in lane #1 and she said "Oh, that's from last night". I once again confirmed with her that both lanes were open and drove again up to the drive through. There were 2 papers taped to the window, one saying their, "System was down," and the second stating the drive through was closed due to, "Short staff." So, whoever answered the phone basically lied to me. I will be moving my prescriptions to a more organized, competent pharmacy. read more

Came in with an appointment when it was not busy and still waited AN HOUR to be seen, the pharmacist Gary said he does not even bother to check to see if there are appointments scheduled and dorsnt bother to see that a patient is checked in and waiting. Unfortunately a lot of medical plans are changing from cvs to Walgreen. Not happy there Px is a joke waited in line for drive up for 25 minutes the car in front was arguing as her Px were not read and she was not going to move finally after 15 minutes he told her to come back in half hour and it would be ready. I pull up and call. Waited 10 more minutes before they came. She explained they were shot staff. You can see inside 4 people working. This isn't the first time I have witnessed this a car pulled up for the testing next to me he said he was 20 minutes early. They help him which took 25 minutes. He was gone before they even help us. Between all the homeless people sleeping on their sidewalk and on the lawn with there set up camps. This Walgreens is a joke. I am so mad that they have us and we can't go elsewhere read more

This store has kind associates. I wish I knew their names. There are two or three who are the total opposite. I had a terrible experience one time, took the survey, the manager called me, i wasn't available, I called back and he never returned my call. I stopped going for a long time, probably 6 months or more. But, this store is so close to my house that it is a little more convenient. I agree with Tawni, it is understaffed. I used the photo app on my phone to get pictures developed, when I picked them up some were not what I had wanted and wrong sizes. I called and talked to Christian one of the supervisors and he did everything to make it right. I appreciate customer service like that being that I work at a grocery store and have to give the same. This review is for the photo center. I went to Walgreens because I was on a mission of getting my disposable waterproof camera film developed. Target doesn't do it. Walmart does not do it in-house. I researched and saw that Walgreens does it. Yay! Mission over. You have the option of getting singles, doubles, or a CD with the images. I want to say it was about $12 for 24 photos. If you get the CD, you can view the photos and select which ones you want printed, 30 cents per print. I turned in my camera and she gave me a claims receipt with the CD to be ready in approximately 30 minutes. The workers are really nice but a bit slow when ringing me up. I didn't get anything else there but I did notice that they do a lot of gifts that you can personalize with photos. I will definitely keep that in mind for any upcoming occasions. read more

Horrible costumer service. Went on December 22nd at 2:10pm and the older blonde lady at the register was so rude. First she was questioning the lady In front of me as if she was stealing just because she came in with a bag. Then as she was waiting for the receipt to print out I stepped one step closer and she yelled saying step back and stay 6 feet back. So I took my step back. But it wasn't good enough. She still yelled at me to move back and by this time there were people behind me. I just set my stuff down and walked out of the store because she was so rude.
