It's a drug store, with a full service pharmacy. The pharmacy is where is have they most interactions. Let me tell tell you, they are a BUSY operation! And they are doing their best. Due to that, customer service lacks. If your insurance has a problem, the refill is or fill is canceled, or delayed: no call. The app is updated and it's super hard to get someone AT THE STORE, calls go to central Call center who have no idea. So pro tip - go inside, plan for 30-40 mins, and talk it out with them. And the pharmacist is on lunch for 30mins between 1p and 2p, so plan accordingly. This is a management issue, not supplying enough staff for this very busy location. The staff, very nice. And no one is intending to be rude or cause issue, they literally only have time to touch each script one time.. I also got my recent vaccines there. I wasn't sure what to expect. It was surprisingly great!! The appointment was exactly on time. The pharmacist explained everything to me, she was very clear, understood my allergic reactions and made sure I understood what the possible side effects. They really surprised me and went above and beyond for that service. The most important thing, is to have realistic expectations here. The interior of the store is well laid out, and in reality I visit the cosmetics section, which has a lovely drug store selection. So. Go here. But. Plan. Have extra time. Bring patience. Worst pharmacy ever! Called Monday to see where my sons medication was, they had one filled and one they ordered Monday, Tuesday I went to pick up one of his medications and they informed me the other was ordered Monday and on the way for Wednesday. I came in today Wednesday and they tell me that the medication was discontinued. First off if it's discontinued how can you place an order Monday? Second how can you place an order on a discontinued item that is "on the way" on Tuesday? Hmmm this is not making much sense. Third the doctor sent the prescription last Tuesday and it took a week for you to place the order? I had enough medication last week to last him a few days and now I'm completely out because of incompetence on the pharmacy staff. read more

I have been here several times before to pick up random things like a drink or an OTC item. This review is more for the staff working the photo center. I was here to pick up a photo order for a Christmas gift. Order was completed in a timely fashion and ready to go. Staff was friendly and made sure that my photos were done correctly and I was happy with them. Overall, a great experience. read more

Pharmacy Tech stated an emergency prescription would be available within an hour. I called back 2 times within 4 hours, waited on hold for 20 minutes each time before being disconnected. Then, I was told via an automated call that they did not have diabetic syringes in stock, even though the pharmacy tech confirmed they were in stock and available for an hour. After an Emergency Room trip with IV due to not being able to inject insulin, I was able to transfer the prescription to another pharmacy who filled it right away. Had the pharmacy tech just told me honestly that they were unable to fill the prescription on the day it came in, I could have had it forwarded to the 24hr pharmacy. I understand there are staffing issues at this location, but this was a terrible experience, and utter lack of patient care displayed by this pharmacy. read more

Drive thru pharmacy and so much more! You can pretty much find anything you might need for say... a birthday party, anniversary, baby shower, wedding or funeral. This place has it all! well almost everything but just about, with plenty of stuff to have a kick @$$ Vegas trip for sure. From beauty supplies to medical supplies and tons of candy and booze. They even have a photo center that you can send those crazy pics you took, on the off chance that one turned out so well, that you feel like framing it. Anyway due to it's close proximity to my home this is one of my go to spots for last minute items and supplies and they're reasonably priced. read more

This is a small-plan Walgreens, much smaller than the other stores in Escondido. They do not carry as large a selection of products as the larger stores, and they may not stock all of the ad items. It can be good for things that have sold out at the others, as this is not as busy a location. It is also good for common items like batteries, aspirin, etc. It has competion from a CVS and a Rite Aid on the other corners of the intersection. It is also difficult to access from certain directions, requiring a u-turn or entering at the far end of McDonald's. read more

When we are not feeling well they are always working hard to fill our prescriptions, answer our phone calls and questions, They are there for us at Walgreens on Felicita. You got to be kidding me right? I was here a week ago looking for Similac Expert for Diarrhea. They didn't have it. One of the pharmacist and one of the beauty advisor, both told me that they will order some for me. They told me that when I'm back here a week later, they would have it in stock. One week past, I came back here and there was this mexican cashier in the front who gave me attitudes. I told her exactly what I was told by the two of her employees. I needed help with an emergency photo collage. Jill, a manager, and Tay were very helpful and photos turned out great. Christian in the pharmacy was very helpful setting up a new prescription. The store is small but very clean and organized. I found several things I needed on sale, while I was waiting for photos and prescription. Chelsea M, the pharmacy manager at this location is terrible. She clearly knows nothing about medications, natural remedies or even anything about infections and antibiotics. Don't take her advice. As an office manager I don't know how she is even able to give recommendations regarding medications. She was rude and condescending. If you're interested in natural remedies or homeopathic options, talk to Mark at Sprouts. He is amazing and so knowledgable. Carter, the store manager at Walgreens was very nice and polite as he truly listened to our feedback of Chelsea. I came in last night 1/15/2016 it was crazy. people putting things away in every isle. and even though the employees were super busy Dana and Tay were so very helpful. Nico was pleasant checking me out I say this is the Friendliest location for all walgreens from oceanside to esco. you get the most help here. This place is the worst and least helpful pharmacy I've ever been to (I'm a chronic pain Patient and have been to them all)! I have a procedure today and my doctor office called in a prescription for Valium (I get really nervous before surgery) my doctor called it in at 12:00. My appt being at 1 I was going to grab the prescription on the way to the hospital. I called the pharmacy to let them know it had been called in and let them know i was on my way to get them. I asked her how long it may take and she said she hadn't even started so more than 20 min. I asked her if there was any way she would be able to put a rush on it since it was an emergency. She responded with that is our stand wait time. I told her I understood but my doctor had called in the prescription an hour before and I (that's where she straight up interrupted me and said I told you 20 min is our stand wait time). Shocked I said okay I was on my way and would see her soon. We arrived 15 minuets later and she told us that it was not ready and rudely told my mom "I spoke with your daughter just 5 minutes ago and told how long the wait will be. My showed her the time stamp and said she called you 17 minutes ago is it almost done. She replies that she hasn't started even it. My mom told her the same thing I did that I was headed in for surgery and needed my meds. The doctor had called them in over an hour ago. She has the balls to say "well the longer I stand here talking to you the longer i will take". Then hangs up the phone and walk away. My mom said and this is what everyone always thinks!! How long can it possibly take to put 20 pills in a bottle!? She told my mom if someone pulls up behind us we need to leave (why because you have to take care of them in a certain order so if we were here first by her logic the next customer should wait also. I understand if she was in the middle of handling prescriptions but if a patient comes in with an emergency and needs pill right away, you don't have to fill someone's who won't pick it up for four days you can start with the person who needs your help. Having been through 8 years of pharmaceutical school I would hope this girl was smart enough to prioritize an emergency. But alas Chelsea was not only rude but also not smart enough to think rationally. Now normally my review would be about just her and how horrible she had treated myself on the phone and my mother in person, but I happened to try to pick up a new prescription a few days prior to this incident. I had to pick up two things. He said the wait would be 30 min so we pulled out to let the next person use the window. We arrived back 30 minutes later to pick it up and he told us he was not able to get my the patches yet so I asked for my pain meds and we could come back (my pain was unbearable that day). He told us since he hadn't had the correct patches and wanted to call the doctor he hadn't filled my pain prescription. What!?!? So we asked him what the doctor had said about the patches and he let us know he hadn't called the doctor yet. So we drove around for half an hour waiting to pick up my pain medicine that he didn't bother to take care of. I was throwing up in their parking lot from pain while I waited for them to not take care of my prescription, not bother to call us and let us know it would be longer, or not even calling the doctor to figure it out. If I could give Walgreens a negative review I would. I will definitely stay with my local valley center pharmacy. read more

If I could give zero stars, I would. I went there Sunday to get insulin needles for my mom. The female Asian pharmacist (didn't get her name) refused to sell me the needles. I told her my mom was in the car, but I could walk her in if needed (my mom was just out of the hospital and needed a lot of help walking), we had a Mexican prescription for insulin, and the insulin vials with us because I know they don't just sell the needles without some proof. Anyway, the woman said she needed an American prescription, and to take my mom to urgent care if I wanted to buy the needles. I asked her how to get at least a needle or two to give her the insulin she needed right away, my mom didn't have insurance and it was Sunday morning. She said there was nothing she could do, to take my mom to urgent care. I was so frustrated, this woman looked down at me the entire time we were talking. I don't know if I looked like a drug addict to her or what, but it was very clear to me she just didn't want to help. I went to another pharmacy, and the person there was kind enough to verify all the information and sold us what we needed so my mom could take her insulin shot. Never going to this place or any other Walgreens ever again. read more
