Arrived a few minutes before 7pm not knowing the Pharmacy closed at 7pm. When I stood in line, a woman in the pharmacy window shouted at me "WE'RE CLOSED! WE CLOSE AT 7" and I said, it's not 7pm yet and she said repeatedly, "WE'RE CLOSED!" After the shock of the rudeness wore off, I asked her if the 123rd South Walgreen's pharmacy was open and she deigned to answer that they were open until 10pm. How hard would it have been to simply look at me, say I'm sorry, we are closing and can't take any more customers but our other pharmacy is open until 10pm. And here is a helpful hint, I was so put off by that interaction, I had my doctor's office send my prescription to Amazon Pharmacy and they delivered my prescription to me within a few hours! No need to be verbally lambasted by a grumpy pharmacy tech at Walgreens ever again! read more

I previously used the Walgreens at 176 E 13800 S in Draper, Utah successfully for my prescriptions, but for my past three routine refills I've gone to the Pharmacy counter and no one comes to assist me. Today I waited for over five minutes, watching three people back in the pharmacy chit-chatting away with no one coming to assist me at the front counter! It was the middle of the morning (10:17 am), there were no other customers and all I had was a basic pick-up. This has happened the past two times I've been to Walgreens, and my wife recently ran into a similar problem, so we've changed our pharmacy preference with the primary care providers we have for all future prescriptions. Apparently Walgreens no longer provides basic pharmacy services - I wonder what their customer support is nowadays?!? read more

To update my original review! I knew I had a prescription that was not covered by my insurance at Walgreens. Walgreens did not carry the prescription I had to order it, in speaking with a very nice pharmacy tech (man) told me the cost would be $88.00. When the prescription arrived I spoke with Lindsey she indicated the price moved to $196.00. I researched other pharmacy and the cost was far less. I had to refill (3) other prescriptions ; I was still concerned about the amount that was not insured. I did lose my cool, but did not call names. In fact, Lindsey (she may have given me a false name) actions were completely disrespectful. The next day, I called about my (3) additional refills, Lisa answered the phone; I was on hold for about 4 minutes, then Chad the pharmacist answered and told me they (Lindsey and Chad) transferred all of my prescriptions to smiths. No call to me and no heads up. Needless to say, thank goodness for smiths, I realize no pharmacy is perfect! Smiths came through, the prescription that Walgreens transferred where required for my health! I was frightened as I did not know if smiths would have the prescriptions I needed in stock. It was a horrible feeling !!! Also, the uninsured item was 40% less at smiths. Shame on WALGREENS! Walgreens was closer to my home. Although, as a customer (patient) the treatment I received as a senior; caused horrible stress and dare I say I felt discriminated against (not saying this lightly) as a senior woman! I'm grateful for smiths coming through for me. They had NO idea why my prescriptions where moved. Chad and Lindsey (if that is her name) we're unprofessional, deviant and dishonest. I hope seniors and their caregivers realize we have a voice and do not deserve to be treated disrespectfully. read more

Absolutely horrendous experience. The pharmacist Lisa is rude and snobby. We went to receive a covid test and the other Draper location's system was down and asked us to go back 3 times to check in to see if the system was back up. They let us know after 2 hours of waiting we were at the wrong location and said do not worry, they will take care of you at the other location. We went over and Lisa had no lack of empathy and enjoyed adding added stress to our day. Lisa lacks people skills as well as time management skills. If giving out a covid rapid test is too difficult to do. read more

I am a provider /patient that works with a ton of pharmacies and I have never had a better experience anywhere else. Their staff goes the extra mile to communicate and make sure that my patients and I have a good experience. It is rare to find genuinely good people let alone exceptional staff and I just want to make sure they are recognized for it. read more

Crazy terrible. Had a prescription called in for my wife who couldn't get out of bed. 4 hours later, hadn't heard anything from them, decided to go in and see if I could get it. Get there, wait in line, get to the front and they tell me they don't have the medicine and can't fill it. Never told anyone that, just decided to keep it to themselves till I showed up. Then told me to call around, maybe I could find it somewhere. Asked if they could help me find a place with it, said they couldn't, I had to call around. So, I had to go back to work, and instead of trying to help and finding a place that did have it (4 hours after not telling anyone they couldn't do it), my bedridden wife and I got to call around town trying to find somewhere that could. Took the time to call and ask if they were available for passport photos. They told me they were so I packed up my kids in the car carried them inside and once I got in they told me the camera was down. Good quick place to get over the counter medications, humidifiers and well of course cosmetics but the one problem with Walgreens is their location, they somehow always seem to have their stores right next to grocery stores that are much bigger than themselves and with pretty much same options as those stores with of course more options and pharmacy in those stores as well, like this Walgreens is next to a Harmon's store while the one in American fork is close to Costco and Walmart. This has always confounded me as to who their target audience are. They should probably rethink their strategy on that front as from a business standpoint does not seem to make much sense to me. The customer service is okay with a convenient drive thru pharmacy. One thing I like though is that Walgreens seem to be one of the few stores or maybe even the only one in Utah with parking stalls with electric charging stations for people with electric vehicles, so for those looking for a place to quickly charge their vehicles, Walgreens is a very good option to check first up before you head home or to your dealership to get your car charged. Overall a decent quick stop shop for essentials in medicine, cosmetics, water etc. read more

I've been Going to Walgreens for 15 years! This specific pharmacy over 1 year. Up until the last 3 months, it's been great. They run different discount cards for you, trying to get you the best deal Possible, really take the time with you. However these last three months, the pharmacy has hired 2 new pharmacy techs, and neither of them, could care less about you. Both are just annoyed by your presence. Short blonde hair girls, Late 20's early 30's is irritated to even be there and she'll take it out on you. Short, stubby, brown hair just past her shoulders girl does not give a flying **** about anything and is also annoying that she works there and takes it out on the customers. I complained about the short haired blonde, after she was very rude about the time frame of filling prescriptions, I told her "or I could go somewhere else? Somewhere where they're nice" she handed my Prescriptions back to me and said "that's you decision. I found the the STORE manager and complained and she was very apologetic and wanted to make things right. Took the prescriptions back to the pharmacist to make it right. Well not only did they let me sit there for over an hour with so much as an acknowledgment, but I was then helped by the other brown haired, extremely rude girl, yes GIRLS! not woman, only girls would act so bitchy to customers. She told me my prescriptions were now 69 dollars more, I said that can't be right Pulled up my last months bill, and confirmed it with her. (Keep in mind im cash lay no insurance) she looked ant me annoyed and said well that's what the screen says There's nothing can do. Flat out rude persons, Walgreens has lost a once loyal customer.....this is the second time they have hired new people in the pharmacy and they have been total ass holes. read more

Pharmacist is a liar and a real jerk. Refused to sell my boyfriend insulin syringes due to his ID being expired by a month. There's a pandemic going on. We renewed it by mail and have been waiting for his new one for months now. He lied about a "new policy" from corporate. I honestly cannot believe that a health care "professional" would be dishonest and so cruel. He of all people should know how important those supplies are to people with medical issues. It makes me sick that he now has to go into the plastic hazardous waste bin that he uses to dispose of them and dig out one that has already been used so he can risk the chance of getting a disease so he can inject his hormones that he needs. Honestly I don't know why this guy is so mean or rude but he's definitely one of the worst people I have ever met. When I called him up to see why he denied my boyfriend and what his deal was, he wouldn't let me finish what I was saying, kept talking over me and hung up the phone despite me keeping a calm demeanor and not using any harsh language despite wanting to. Corporate should definitely reprimanded him as he is abusing his "power" and making life difficult for people who have serious medical issues. For what reason? I go to a lot of pharmacies and drug stores, and most places offer similar things - drive-thru pharmacy window, photo processing, mini-grocery aisle, health supplements, etc. The Draper Walgreens has all those features, and is my go-to pharmacy when I'm in the South end of the Salt Lake Valley. The Walgreens off Bangerter in Draper is average at best. Most products at any Walgreens are over-priced. Occasionally, a friendly employee is helpful, but most at this location barely crack a smile. Managers need to quickly open other registers when a line forms -- without waiting for a customer to request it. All Walgreens need to utilize better bags for purchased items. These bags are even flimsier than those at Walmart. The pharmacy is too often under-staffed, causing delays for obtaining scripts. Even when they are super busy, the pharmacy techs need to be friendlier and more empathetic to customers' needs. Yes, a few employees are terrific, but the rest need to step it up. read more

We called asking for the wax you put on your braces to keep the metal from rubbing and cutting into your inside lip. She didn't known what the product was and didn't even bother to check. The pharmacy usually takes a long time and there is usually some issue: the drive-thru is closed for weeks at a time, they don't have your medicine in stock, the automated system calls and harasses you if you can't pick up your Rx right away. They aren't good at honoring presciption transfer incentive coupons. I would go somewhere else if this weren't the only pharmacy nearby. read more

I was in a desperate situation to refill a prescription one night. I was not doing well physically to begin with. My dr. called in the prescription and I was told there would be a 30 min wait. When I came to pick up the prescription the pharmacist told me they were out. I was really distraught because I needed this medication immediately. When I asked the pharmacist if he could help me locate a pharmacy that had the medication in stock he brusquely replied that he did not have time for that. He treated me extremely insensitively and rudely at a time when I would have greatly appreciated a bit of customer service. He wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible without helping me in any way at all. I still get upset thinking about it. I will never return to this pharmacy again, and I do not recommend it. Go to the Walmart pharmacy across the street. They are much more friendly and helpful. read more

Worst customer service EVER! I live really close to this Walgreens and have gone there for years and every time I fill a perscription it is a terrible experience- I have spoken to several other people that have had the same problems as me. I just went yesterday and had to argue with the pharmacist that I had a prescription sent in by my doctor- took him ten minutes to actually check the system and find it and then an hour to fill it. If I would have listened to him I would have left empty handed. They don't send you emails or phone calls when your perscription is filled. This is the kicker: The last time I went they had a sign posted on their window stating that it was your to make sure that you have the right perscription before you leave..... Uh yeah I'm pretty sure that's actually their one and only job! Judging by the sign THEY HAVE ACTUALLY GIVEN OUT THE WRONG PERSCRIPTIONS!!!!! Bottom line they are incompetent and rude! I never write reviews... Their customer service is TERRIBLE. I feel like every walgreens I've been to is always slow, 9/10 workers aren't nice and there is always some hold up every time I go. I'm a very chill person and it takes a lot to get to me-I've just had so many bad experiences here and It always leaves me with a negative attitude! I lived in California and moved back to Utah and was told by my doctor yesterday that I could pick up my prescription.. And of course I couldn't (there's always some hold up) and they said that it was at the pharmacy in California but it would be ready first thing in the morning. I also was waiting on another prescription since I was already there and he said it would just be 15 minutes.. It was dead but then got a little busy (which I understand) but the guy helping me didn't even tell the pharmacist to start working on it for 15 minutes, it had taken 30 min. Anyways, back to my first story, so I get there this morning and the lady (who was actually very nice and professional) I assume she was the manager or boss cause she's the first one that has been very nice- said that she has no record of my prescription even be requested or moved to their Walgreens.. She says that she would call them and get it transferred and it should only take 15 minutes to do once she gets a hold of them and said she would have a text sent to me as soon as it's ready but we will see what happens..
